A great stop this morning for a pass along the Thirty Minute Circuit and then a shower. This was a clean and tidy Planet Fitness with no problems at all. Everything worked fine for me. The showers had decent hot water and there was a very useful chair in the changing stall. Hooray. Some more hooks and a mirror in the changing stall would be a help. Otherwise, all good. This lady at the front desk was absolutely horrible, for one I was waiting for about 29 minutes while she sat there pretending not to notice me on her phone. She was rude and definitely tone deaf. Tanning here is a nightmare. Wait forever for a bed. They promise you new bulbs but you're coming out the same as you went in. A complete waste of time. I go to other towns and even other states and never have these problems. read more

This place is nice!!! I went in to be greeted by a sweetheart who was kind and dedicated to getting her job done well. Even though I wasn't a member yet I already felt like I was. She introduced herself, showed me around, was honest, and made me feel like I was where I was supposed to be. I even have my own lock to my locker! This place is small and cramped with broken equipment, broken lockers, broken showers! It's an absolute joke. Nothing but a lot of teenagers lurking about and creepy and extremely rude staff. I have traveled the US and this is by far the worst PF I've ever been in. Go at your own risk. read more

Just joined this new gym location on 02/14/18. Just found out they opened here. Was able to join with the basic plan for $10/month! What?! Yes, you heard me right, $10/month!! The start up fee was a special of $5.00. There is an upgraded $21.99/month version available. I just needed the basics so that was overkill for me. The facility is brand new, clean and well staffed. There is lots and lots of equipment available. I had gone during peak hours and there were still plenty of empty machines and spaces. There are free weights, cardio machines and specialized exercise areas. Personal trainers are available to meet your needs. There are no classes to speak of but there are scheduled times to work out as a group working on different areas of the body with a trainer. I will only be using the facility for the treadmill and elliptical so $10/month is great! If things change or my review needs updated, I will do so. read more

I've been to gyms around the world over the past 35 years and this facility is one of the cleanest and friendliest I've ever encountered. Restrooms are immaculate and any equipment that goes offline is tagged immediately and fixed. For the money ($10 for a week guest pass) it's probably the best value I've ever seen read more

This is the smallest Planet Fitness location I've ever seen. They make good use of what space they have, including a little balcony for some of the treadmills and ellipticals, but it still feels cramped. Parking is also not great. They've crammed a lot of things into a small plaza and the parking lot is always bustling. That said, the location is clean and well kept. I usually see the manager walking around when I'm there, which usually means good things. read more

This place is night and day from all other Planet Fitness that my wifey and I go to. The level of friendliness and cleanliness is unprecedented!!! Edasia is amazing if we might add. She is generally excited to see us any time we come. We live in Columbus, but my folks live in Copley. When we are home, there is absolutely no choice in which gym we go to between the two. Visiting the area for the holidays and I was having trouble finding a short term gym pass for a reasonable price while I was here. Checked out this Planet Fitness on a whim and it was one of the better decisions I made while here. Nice and clean establishment with most of the equipment you need to get in a good workout. The best part of this location was definitely the manager. Edasia was extremely friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Totally irritated, visiting this planet fitness and was stopped mid workout to say my small bag was not permitted on the floor. Which if it's a rule I have never been stopped at another facility for it, but besides that, I prefer not to leave my belongings in a locker. So this trainer stopped what he was doing with his client, to stop me and inform me of this rule! Completely frustrating me and ruining my workout and any momentum! I realize planet fitness is trying to be an inclusive gym, but at some point it's got to stop being a play ground for people to eat tootsie rolls and start being a gym where people can carry their bags, and jugs and wear tank tops!... I wish I could give negative stars for this facility TWO THUMBS DOWN!!!! read more

I don't see many negative comments from females but that's likely because they never have to see the men's locker room. I'll gladly admit that the staff is wonderful and friendly and overall the rest of the facility is very clean. But the men's locker room is frankly disgusting. Spilled sticky sports drinks on the floor....Saltine crumbs on the benches (honestly, who eats crackers in the bathroom at the gym??!!??)....one literally has to brush off an area just to sit and change shoes. Obviously I can't blame the female staff as they don't go in there, but I'm starting to think the male staff doesn't either. It's just very disappointing for an otherwise nice place. read more

Worst ever. We've been members here for over a year. The place is generally crowded beyond belief so we try and go when it's off peak hours. The employees here are worse than small children. The female staffers sit on their phones texting and gossiping with each other. We went in two weeks ago to tan. 45 minute wait but two names were crossed off the list so we asked if those spots were available? They bickered for a few minutes to try and figure out what it was about when finally one girl comes out and tells us that those people signed in and left so she crossed them off buttttttt she has to give them a warning first and then they can still go in. So we just left and went to another location that night. Decided to try again this past Friday. We go in at 10 on the dot. No wait to tan but an employee was blocking the list. He apologized and said he was trying to "clean it up" I said oh ok. Then after he was done I signed myself and my husband in. We stood back off to the side waiting for our numbers and to let him know how long we wanted to go in for. Then I hear all of this yelling. I look up and realize he is screaming at me! He's like "I'm sorry and I just got here! The employees that just got off are horrible and everything's a mess so you are just going to have to wait!!" I'm like are you yelling at me? He acted as if I had stood there telling him off for ten minutes. I said I'm in no rush, do what you need to do. He then says "it's not even 10:20 yet!" I said umm yea ok? Then I looked at my husband and said didn't we sign in for 10? And omg. This employee went postal. "You should have NEVER signed in at ten!" I said why when I got here right at ten? "We are changing shifts and nothing is done I hate everyone that just left and the beds aren't open until 1020!" I said my god. I looked at my husband and said is this guy insane?!?! Am I insane? Did I do something wrong?!? While this is happening he storms off I guess to clean the beds. He also asked us ten times if we had our eye wear. So finally I just held mine up in the air I was not saying another word to this madman. We go into our own rooms and I specifically told my husband I was not coming out of my room or going out near this male employee until he was with me. I honestly was afraid this man would attack me! So we walk out at the same time and again he's talking solely to me and tells me to "have a great night and I'm so sorry for any confusion and it'll be better next time for you!" I am still so confused as to what set him off and why it was me that he came after. We changed our membership to another club. I will not set foot back in this location as this employee is clearly not stable enough to work with the public. I'd also advise no one to go near this place at 10pm or until after probably 6am because that's when his shift seems to be. No name tag of course but I'd say he's late 20's/early 30's maybe? Dark hair but his head is shaved. Had on a gray hoodie this past Friday and generally does have on a hoodie and sometimes a beanie type winter hat. Try and avoid him if possible. read more

I do like this gym. It's affordable and really, really clean. If you go during midday, it's not too busy, but in the evening it's too crowded to get a treadmill. The tanning beds are really nice, but the massage chairs, hydro-massage, and beauty angel (?) don't do much for me. The people who work there are the reason for the lower rating. They don't make me feel welcome. The fitness trainer is douchy. They used to acknowledge me as I came and left, but after a few weeks, they stopped. This is supposed to be a judgement-free gym, yet I feel like the employees judge me more than any of the other members. read more

This is my first time joining a gym, and I was a little nervous because I am not exactly sure on what to do. This place is very welcoming and makes me feel better about going. I really enjoy the atmosphere and how it seems to be an accepting environment. Also, for $10 a month? That's a really good deal. I love this planet fitness. Even during the busy time of day, there is enough equipment to keep the momentum going on a workout. The trainer is a fountain of information and he shares freely. I haven't met a staff member that looks like they hate their job. They all smile and are extremely helpful. I got the black tie membership so there is the beauty angel infra red vibrant shake...tanning...my fav is the hydrobed. But even with the regular membership ($10 a month) you get your money's worth. As I said..even during the busiest time of day, there is plenty of treadmills..elipticles...bikes..and other fitness equipment to keep your workout moving. The gym is always clean and there is never a shortage of tootsie rolls. I go everyday...I work out 5 days and the remaining 2 days are spent spoiling myself with the massage chairs...hydrobed and so on. This PF is open 24/7: I'm not sure if all of them are or not. The staff members on the wee hours of the morning keep busy with their duties but I've never had to wait for anything as is the case with the busy day hours. Do I recommend? You bet I do...and I see no reason for anyone regretting their membership. Planet Fitness gives me my ME time and with the help of the trainer...im using my ME time to practice for 1/2 marathon.
