I received a call back within the hour, Earl said he could come to my home (30 miles away - the same day) and clean the chimney (in an hour), quoted me a fair price and I agreed to the service. Earl came to my home, respectfully went to work and cleaned 6ft of soot and debris from the chimney, provided videos (pics too), a receipt via text and advised on next steps with my water heater and chimney maintenance. To top it off, I was charged $150 less than the original quote. That's honesty, that's professionalism (pretty rare qualities these days) and I am eternally grateful. Everyone showed on time for the date of removal. Very large pine tree was cut down and removed within an hour of their showing--outstanding! We hired VHS to replace our downstairs flooring and tile a small bathroom floor to ceiling. It was…read moresuppose to take about 3 days and it took about 2 weeks. The overall job was good but we had some issues. After they laid the floor my two front doors would not open because the floor was too high. They had to end up taking the doors out and redo the trim and then put them back in. The guys dented my frig when they used a furniture mover to pull it out and scratched the floor. The piece that they glued to the step and transition strip had to be reglued. The supervisor that came out was great and fixed everything. The end project was ok but it was really stressful. I think the guys were all subcontractors. I would probable not use them except for carpet.
