We'd like to personally thank several people at VHS for our recent Kitchen remodel. First, Rachel T. for her design and designer's eye along with her ability to show us what we truly wanted by letting us know both the current trends and what works and what doesn't in our home. To Angie, our lighting consultant, who helped us pick out over a dozen new light fixtures along with our very cool Wi-Fi enabled Legrand switches and under cabinet leds. To Tammy C. for putting together an incredibly shimmering Black Stainless Steel KitchenAid appliance package and Maytag W/D unit at the same time saving us $900 in rebates. Thanks to Paula for our flooring and tile choices, and last but not least to Gregg for keeping all the subs scheduled and not stepping on each other while answering my 10-15 emails per day and still staying completely calm and accommodating to all our needs. We knew on day 1 back in February after meeting with Rachel T. for the first time that we were on board with VHS due to their process, their knowledge, and their integrity. A few months ago we completed a kitchen remodel and redesign of a home we had purcahsed. We worked with Josh Heitzler and he was outstanding. Our project was a little unique in that we were using some of the existing cabinetry. I learned quickly from Josh that the key was to find complementary new items to modernize the look because matching wouldn't be an option. Josh really listened to what I wanted and was trying to accomplish and worked with the general contractor to make it all work. He provided useful advice and input in the cabinet and counter selection and also the placement. Having been in our new home for a few months now, it occurred to me how useful and convenient some of his suggestions (that I initially may have resisted) are and how much I love my new kitchen and very large island. If you are considering new construction or a remodel, I'd highly recommend Josh - I know I will come back to him the next time I am doing some updates. read more

We updated both our kitchen and bath. They did a great job on both! The customer service is awesome! Each and every person we dealt with was very good and helpful. Rachel was a big help in assisting us to pick out countertops for the bathroom as well as the backsplash for the kitchen. We had under cabinet lighting put in the kitchen. It made a big difference and turned out really nice. All of their subcontractors are top notch and we always felt comfortable with them working in our home. They cleaned up each day they were done. Small business with a big impact! Village has a knowledgeable and super-friendly staff. A great selection, and an amazing showroom! So convenient to have all of the products for a project in one location. Easy to find store right downtown Geneseo with plenty of local shops, restaurants, and breweries in the area to also visit. Worth the trip! Be sure to check out their concentrated HE laundry detergent! One box lasts my household nearly a full year! I save a ton of money using it so ask an appliance salesperson about it. Village Home Stores has great products and offers great deals as well. I recently purchased a washer and dryer and there were a couple issues with communication of the delivery drivers and installation. The Service Manager there was extremely accommodating and professional and treated me the way any customer should be treated....with respect. He corrected the situation to my liking. It's a beautiful store and many top notch products and staff is always there to help. Highly recommend. read more

Village Home Stores has a great selection of products and good prices. We've taken advantage of their financing options often. Their customer service is what really sets them apart. The owners are very dedicated to providing a great experience for their customers and we have worked with numerous great staff members. We contacted the store due to a noise in our refrigerator. The technician called back in a timely manner and recommended replacing a part. When the part arrived at the store they worked with our schedule to arrange a time to replace the part. When the day came to replace the part, the technician arrived at the set time and quickly accomplished the job. We are very pleased with this service call. read more

We have purchased all new Stainless Steel kitchen appliances as well as a new washer and dryer. The quality is outstanding, price point reasonable, professional staff and service is second to none. Always a quick response followed by thorough service calls. Jeff has repaired an ice maker and recently checked our powerless oven, which ended up being a generator hook up fault and not the appliance or outlet. Our appliances are fifteen years old and were not purchased at Village but there's never any hesitation to service them and provide solutions. read more

We have been working with Village to help us remodel our kitchen. Yesterday we had our backsplash installed. The gentleman installing the backsplash, Randy, wanted to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He did an excellent job! He even started early to accommodate our work schedules.
