Stopped in for a quick drink to cool off in the heat. Ordered a dragonfruit matcha latte - super cool name right? The server, who I believe was also the owner, was delighted to make this drink. Seeing as the establishment was going to close in 30 minutes, there was no line no wait. She took her time and properly made the drink; even was gracious to be light on the ice. I was in and out in maybe 10 minutes. The drink was super tasty. Not overly sweet but also not bland and surprisingly the flavors blended which I did not expect. The cinnamon dulce latte was incredible. They have several options for both coffee and non-coffee lovers. The order took a while to be ready but the owner was extremely friendly, it felt like we were having coffee in her home. It is a great place for meeting with friends or getting work done, the only downside is that they close early every day. read more

Cheers to another local business in Oak Park, IL. A small Latina owned business ran by a woman name Rosa. It was my time coming here and it was wonderful. It has a nice warm and cozy feel to it. It's like sitting in your dining area at home enjoying a nice hot cup of coffee or latte with a tasty treat. The prices are reasonable. Healthy options to order. I ordered the Brown Sugar Latte. I wasn't too thrilled with the taste. Nice space to come to when you want to get out of the house/or work from home. I always didn't like the smell inside the cafe. It had a very overpowering smell to it. Maybe, it was the blend of different herbs and flavors that were brewing around. I would come back to support this business again. Very friendly lady (reminded me of my grandma) in the front to greet you. Cute little local coffee shop. With great prices after COVID especially. Most coffee shops around Chicago area have raised their prices so was nice to spend less. Obviously i support small business' raising their prices to survive. That's life. I ordered a dirty chai and it was great! Great coffee. However was a bit sweet but that was my fault for rushing to the bathroom and not talking to the kind lady about what sweetness I wanted. Decided to stop here after a long train ride seeing as this was the only place open. I now wish this was the original destination. The food and drinks are amazing! My fiancé and I got the creamsicle drink, matcha frappe, bagel with cream cheese, and a grilled cheese. Everything was soooo good! A spot that is well lit, large, and very comfortable for working or reading, with cheery colors of bright orange and white. As a storyteller, I really like what is written on the wall, "Every Family has a story...Welcome to ours...", with pictures of the owner's family. This is certainly one of the better tasting coffees I've had: deep coffee flavor without bitterness or acidity, save that of a bit of very dark chocolate, and with a faint orange peel in the finish (a Brazilian bean). I don't go in for the twisted-tongue coffee drinks, but there certainly are a plethora of options here. The owner, the always smiling and energetic Rosa, truly is a connoisseur of coffee beans, and even has a different coffee for straight drip or for with milk, or however you are going to take it. They also offer both 12 oz. and 16 oz. mugs. The muffins are white bread confections and a little overly sweet. (Whole wheat muffins are so easy to make but nobody does, and muffins definitely should not be cupcakes.) There are also some croissants and bagels available. Really enjoyable, light vocal Latin jazz music is playing. If you get a lot of people in here at once, I have the feeling the noise level might climb, but there are fewer people than I expected here at 8am. By 9, however, some computers have brought in their operators for refueling and have established their places among the various tables and upholstered chairs. For doing work, this is certainly one of the better cafés. You have space to breathe and think without ever the feeling of being forced out by noise or energy. It really has the most comfortable chairs at the tables of any coffee shop I have been to. Greater Sip has now joined several other cafés in the area where I enjoy spending some metaphysical writing time. read more
