They text me 7:50 am Monday..said they'd be here by 8:15..told him no..my appt was closer to 10 am & I was not home. Anyway I changed my plans and accommodated them at 8:45. Told them they should be lucky I was flexible for them. The guy got an immediate attitude and yelled at me saying he had a 2 hr drive.. I said not my concern you need to keep your schedules as promised to your customers. He then immediately called this guy Jon who works out of his bsmt & told him that he's leaving ,& would not be installing my windshield even though they had it all set out ready to go. I then proceeded to call Jon and explain what happened...he yelled at me..wouldn't let me explain my side of the story..said he did not have time for me..told me he'd refund me all my money & hung up on me. Gerber's quote was the most reasonable and pretty much spot on as far as the estimate my insurance company suggested as well. I first brought my car to the Gerber location in Decatur and the customer service rep was very helpful! She was courteous, understanding and very transparent about how the process would go. I ended up bringing by car to this location because it's closer to where I live. I dropped my car off on a Monday morning and received it back the following week on Tuesday afternoon. I received a packet with instructions on how to car for my car the next 30 days (I had a paint job done over the affected areas as well) and an itemized list of the cost of parts/ labor cost etc. Overall I'm glad my baby is fixed! I'm glad this experience was hassle free and I knew exactly what to expect while my car was in the shop. UPDATE: I should add that I have total full body coverage for my car insurance. So either way I pay my $500 deductible and that's it. I did look over the details of my receipt and saw the final price of the work done was DOUBLE what the estimate was. Ultimately it made no difference in what I paid (because I only paid my deductible). However, I'm sure my insurance company wasn't too thrilled with that. I'd be extra cautious (especially) if you're paying for work out of pocket.

Ok they said they had to order the glass, cool so that put the replacement back a day... no sweat. The gentleman show up Thursday as shared. Get there with the wrong window. He comes and tell me I have an extended cab... no sir I do not I have a standard cab sir. No you don't you have an extended cab. Sir I know what I bought extended cab has room for a seat brother no one can sit back here. Long story short. Wrong window bought only for them to email me and say your window can not be purchased or ordered. Well I just saw the window for 175.00 lol. Total waste of time. I wouldn't call them... especially seeing as thought they can follow simple directions and don't know what windows to order when they have clearly been shared with what is needed.
