I had used them before to repair a crack but knew this one would require a replacement. Jason gave me a quote for after market glass and also OEM. Because my BMW has heads up display and other safety features through the windshield he explained why I wanted OEM glass. Afterwards I did my own research and determined he was spot on. No pressure from Jason. He just let me know they were there when I was ready. Then I left town and it was an entire month before I got back to fixing my windshield. H&A is an approved provider through my insurance so the process was so easy. Within 30 minutes, Jason had the authorization from my insurance company for the replacement and calibration needed. Horatio called me and let me know he was on the way. He and Wilmer got right to work. In less than two hours they had my windshield replaced, did the calibration and drove it to make sure everything was functioning properly. They even were kind enough to move the sticker I need to get in our work parking lot from my old windshield to my new one. Horatio and Wilmer were both professional and efficient. When we spoke, he was rude, unprofessional, and even hung up on me, making the interaction very uncomfortable. His tone and attitude were completely unnecessary given that I was still available within my scheduled appointment window. To be honest, even though I was in the process of cancelling, the job was still completed. I later spoke with Kendall, the manager, who was kind, professional, and took my concerns seriously. He stated that he would escalate the situation and even offered to have his boss reach out to me, which I greatly appreciate. The other manager Joe called as well and stated everything would be documented. I appreciate the swift response from him as well. However, Cliff's behavior was inappropriate and unacceptable. No customer should be spoken to or treated in that manner. I never want anyone else, especially another woman, to experience the level of disrespect I encountered during this interaction. He made the recommendation for me to use this company instead, and they sent out Bernard Cook (technician) within 24 hours. This company will come to to you for no extra charge, and repair your windshield for a reasonable price. I know I have used Safelite and in the past it as gone through insurance and I didn't want to keep doing that because my premiums are through the roof. So their quote of a $75 flat rate was so refreshing to see, as Safelite was $125 and I had to go there. Since I work from home right now due to COVID, I went with with Bernard and it was totally worth it. The entire process took 20 minutes. It's not perfect, but it is filled and with a lifetime guarantee- which is good enough for me. It was a STRONG strike from a stone, so I am just thankful that it wasn't worse. I received my car back with the heads up display not working and was told I'd have to come back tomorrow. Guess I'm missing more work. And to top it all off there was pollen all over my dash touch screen radio and gauges. ( I'm allergic to pollen) they couldn't even have used an air hose to blow it off after they worked. Update a week later still no progress my hud is dim in the day my whisper fluid was not plugged back in and the plastic housing that cases the sensors on my windshield is loose and rattling. Further update things are looking up spoke with the owner and she said she is going to speak with Genesis and see what happened. Further updates: my HUD IS FIXED it was a long journey to get here but my work has finally been completed. The glass they installed was defective so it's not their fault.
