My experience with this company has been nothing short of amazing. As someone who has lived…read morethrough ups and downs of life--Dedicated Commercial Recovery is different than all the rest. They treat people with dignity, worth and respect. It's rare these days in my opinion that a company favors people over profits and steps up to support business owners in hard times by offering options that start taking steps in the right direction. As an employee I can vow that we are treated with respect and encouraged to treat everyone with the same. Everyone has a story, life and family that matters. It's not rare to be thanked by our merchants, borrowers and co-workers for committing our actions to help the situation supporting the positive outcomes and taking opportunities to improve ourselves and the lives of others in the bigger picture. As a company the owner, leaders and the staff as a whole are empowered to not forget that we pride ourselves in treating merchants, customers and coworkers with respect. People matter here. I would recommend working with this company.

The interview process felt disorganized and disappointing…read more I drove about 30 minutes to attend the interview in person, but the interview panel itself was not ready at the scheduled time and spent several minutes gathering before we could begin. The interview also felt largely unstructured. Questions seemed to be asked spontaneously rather than following a clear interview plan, and there was very little effort to explore my technical experience. I shared several complex projects involving Power Platform, SharePoint, Android, Python, and automation, but almost no follow-up questions were asked. It felt more like checking off topics than trying to understand my skills or problem-solving approach. I appreciate the opportunity to meet the team, but I left feeling that the interview was not well prepared and did not provide a fair opportunity to demonstrate my qualifications.

I would pay it off and then get right back into bad financial habits, which I brought with me into my marriage. I finally fit rock bottom and knew things were out of control, so I called Kaitlyn. We started working together in fall 2018 and within the first two months she had taught me how to make, use, and stick with a budget. She helped me trim the fat and talked me through a lot of healthy changes. After that, we started working at debt. By the time we had been working together for 5 months, a huge chunk of my debt was gone, and I am on pace to be consumer debt free by the end of the summer - less than a year after we started working together. I cannot recommend Kaitlyn enough. She has been a godsend to my family.

She just started typing and clicking her mouse: type, type, type, type, click, click, type, type, click, click, click, type, type, type, type, click, click, type, type, click, click, click, type, type, type, type, click, click, type, type, click, click, click. I wondered what she was doing, as she hadn't asked my name or for a driver's license or anything - what could she be typing? So I stood there waiting, and waiting and waiting, and waiting. FINALLY, she looks at me with the most stone-faced expressionless look I've ever seen and said, "We can have someone meet with you at 2 pm if you want to come back." (I was there in the morning.) Can you imagine if Walmart or Target ran their business that way?: You're at the checkout with your cart of items and the cashier says, "Can you please go and put all those things back on the shelves and come back later to buy them?" Sorry. You've already lost this potential customer. I took my business to a different nearby credit union where I was treated like an old friend even though it was the first time I'd been in there. What a difference! Blaze blew it.

One visit was to simply deposit a check when I had other errands in the area. The other, more recent, visit was to open an IRA account before filing my 2021 Federal taxes. For opening the IRA, I made an appointment online and went the following day to meet with a representative, Scarlette Lao, who was so pleasant, personable and helpful. I felt like I was well-attended to and that I and my business there was appreciated. I left there feeling like I had a new friend!

He was helpful and polite at our first, in person meeting. Some time later, I wanted to move some money and he was very impatient and rude over the phone. I wanted to understand my options. On a positive note, more recently, we had some money to invest for retirement. I decided to call the cooperate office, "Member Care Services". They were all helpful and understanding, especially advisor, Stacy Dobberstein and one other woman (sorry...forgot name). Ms. Dobberstein is very knowledgeable, patient and pleasant. I hate to end with a negative but, I wrote a letter and email because I felt that a committee leader at Thrivent, was pushing her own political ideas, behind her particular program, per her public letter to members. I felt that some of her opinions did not line up with Christian values as described in scripture. I suggested that she stay more generic and focus on universal Christian values. Though I may not have written my best letter, I was hoping for some kind of response, especially since i am the client and Thrivent claims to be a Christian organization. Plus, we are trusting them with our money; money which they profit from. I was happy with the cooperate office in every way, so that is who I recommend. 1* star for the local folks and 5* stars for cooperate.
