First timer at Great Wolf Lodge, and the experience has been mixed. On the plus side, it's a relatively cheap vacation not too far from home. The water park is solid. The room was spacious and easily accommodated our family of five. And when we weren't able to check in on time, they immediately and preemptively gave us free laser tag and mini golf passes for our whole stay. That is great customer service. Finally, this is a nice location, with close proximity to groceries and an outlet mall. On the negative, the hotel is really showing its age. Our faucet didn't work properly, our microwave had to be replaced, and our door needed to be slammed closed and pulled open hard. It's noisy too; our neighbors upstairs were not conducive to our sleep, as we heard their every step. Oh, and we did not know this until our third day, but you have to *ask* for housekeeping. I expect more when paying $350/night. As I said at the top, GWL is mixed. Not sure I'd come back, but fine for a one-time trip. read more

We stayed Sunday-Tuesday this past weekend, we booked the suite with the loft. When we arrived on Sunday, we opted to do mobile check in however, we needed to wait in line to speak to the front desk to grab our wolf passes and add an additional car for parking. During check in time the lobby was hectic and there is only two elevators on property, which meant a lot of waiting around with the luggage. Once we arrived in our room, our top deadbolt lock was broken on the door. I used the app to report it and maintenance did come within an hour to fix it. The rooms were fine, clean. We didn't hear anyone during our sleep which was nice. The upstairs lot got hot so we did have to keep the AC running pretty regularly throughout the night. We booked the private cabana for about $400 and honestly we all agreed we would pay for it again. It was nice to have a private area and was perfect for my 2 year old to chill out when she needed. The cabana included 4 unlimited drink cups, two branded towels to keep, pizza, wings, cheese bread and two additional travel cups. We did have a server there too if we wanted to order more items. My kids loved the waterpark, however one slide was off for one of the days that we were there. There was plenty of staff and lifeguards around. The downside is that the waterpark doesn't open until 10am. It would be nice if they opened the waterpark earlier, or had earlier hours for hotel guests and then opened to the public at 10. We did the wolf passes, and my son loved the MagiQuest. The wands that are included are pretty basic, but they do have upgraded wands that you can purchase that light up and have fun toppers. Pricing is between $20-$30 per wand. Wolf passes included an ice cream - the shop was very slow and out of a lot of options. The ice cream machine was down so we could only order hard ice cream and those options were quickly gone. We got the candy cup (included), honestly I was impressed with the amount of candy the kids got. This was self served. The laser tag game was fun, and lasted about 5-7 minutes. Kids under the age of 7 must have a parent with them in the laser tag arena. The arcade is open 24/7. They had some fun games that my kids enjoyed. With the Wolf passes you get three games to play so it goes quick. We looked at reloading on a card but the cheapest option was $20, which wasn't worth it for our family. Build a bear that was included in the package was a brown or white bear, again pretty basic. No worries, because they have plenty of other options you can purchase at a cost. The downside is that I had to go ask employee where we find the bears included, they weren't set out, so of course by the time the employee helped us my kids had scouted out other "more fun or colorful" options. Towards the end of our stay, one out of the two elevators was down. Which caused a lot of backup in the hallways. Overall my kids 2 and 5 year old loved their stay. I wish there were more things to do in the morning. Quiet hours are between 11pm-7am. I was hoping we could walk around and do MagiQuest when we woke up but it doesn't start until 9am. Pool, laser tag and mini golf doesn't open until 10am. I am surprised for a place designed for kids there wasn't more options for earlier activities. read more

I'm giving this place 2 stars only because my son enjoyed the water park and pools. Other than that, our experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, we were told our room had been given away and that there wasn't a room available for us. After a long wait, they eventually found us a room, but the check-in process was extremely disorganized. We spent nearly two hours waiting in line just to get checked in. Once we got to the room, it was not clean. There was debris all over the sheets, hair in the bathtub, and the overall cleanliness was far below what I would expect for the price we paid. The food was also very poor quality, overpriced, and made me sick. I've been dealing with nausea and vomiting since eating there. The water park was the only highlight of our stay, and that's the reason this review isn't one star. Unfortunately, the poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, long wait times, and food quality completely overshadowed the experience. We will not be returning. read more

Came here for the kids, who did have a good time. I liked the convenience of having the water park right there. Lined weren't terrible and it was fun to go on the slides. The rooms were dated. Our door was stuck so it woke everyone up to go in and out of the room. My kid ended up loving the laser tag. I don't feel like housekeeping did a great job. This lodge is a kid's resort. From cabin life rooms designed just for them, to daily activities of bingo, crafts and music with the mascot, to laser tag, and magi quest. It's alot of direction to venture into. The water park OMG massive slides, lazy river, kids sections, kid playground, swimming pool fun with basketball hoops what more could a kid ask for. Starbucks and ice cream store, a deli market, a bar and grill restaurant, a pizzeria there is plenty of options to eat. Arcade room available and mini golf as well. The cons are if you have older kids there is no outlets in the kid room in case you are thinking of bringing extra devices to entertain your big one. The outlets are in the main area and not easy to find. This lodge is cashless. They do not accept cash anywhere! Only credit card and debit card. They do have a cash card you can put monies on but just one time , so be sure to add up everything you plan on buying tax included because it's not a card you can reload. It does not give change back either AND it's a 2.00 fee to load. The arcade is the same way but you can reload on that card but it's a 2.00 fee initially. Staff was friendly and security was on campus. Parking is license plate based , they will ask for your plate number and after that you are free to park wherever fyi. Mini golf has its own outside section , it looked fun but just too cold to play. Wristbands are your keys. It's a $50 dollar fee to replace so make sure you guys keep that band attached. It' gets you in your cabin, water park, and activities around the place and stores if you attach to your credit card. read more

We stayed one night as a family of five and had an amazing time! The hotel has a charming nature-themed atmosphere with a cozy, woodland feel that really adds to the overall experience. The little details throughout the property make it feel magical and special for both kids and adults. We upgraded to the Wolf Den room, which was absolutely perfect for our kids. They loved having their own little bunk bed area that felt like a mini room just for them. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with great features like a fireplace, seating area, two TVs, a couch, and a balcony. The highlight of our stay was definitely the indoor water park, which is included with your stay. It had something for everyone: three fun water slides, A kiddie pool for the little ones, An outdoor pool, An adults-only hot tub, A lazy river, and A fun obstacle course and basketball hoops in the water. There was plenty of seating throughout, and private cabanas are available to rent if you want extra space. Food and drinks are offered for an additional charge, which is convenient if you're planning to spend most of your day there. Overall, this was a wonderful, memorable experience for the whole family. Beds were comfy but the sheets dont stay put for minimal use, they use a flat sheet inplace of the fitted, pillows were a 7/10. Hair in the tub, peeling wall paper in bathroom, crumbs all over the table and chairs in the room. Kid loved the wolf den, no ropes course, lazy river is a joke, like you can see the whole thing is about 50 yards long, no wave pool, some nice slides of different speeds and sizes. We visited during winter break and had an awesome time. The pool area is fantastic for all ages, from toddlers to teens; they have various slides, a multi-level treehouse, and several different play areas. We also did the "Pup Pass," which was definitely worth it. It included a Build-A-Bear (my son's first!), ice cream, a cup of candy, and a $5 arcade pass. While the food on-site isn't the healthiest, it's decent. A great tip is to bring your own snacks or meals, as the rooms are equipped with a fridge and microwave. We reserved the largest room available however it was very tiny and not much room for walking. The room wasn't the cleanest. The resort needs a refresh it's very worn down. There was a whole in the floor on the 3rd floor just covered with carpet and other parts of the carpet with black tape on them. The room wasn't the cleanest. Kids were banging on doors after quiet hours and I had notified security several times. Then the people above us were so loud and banging all through the day and night even past 1 AM. Notified Jeremiah at the front desk along with three other staff members and willow (the text feature). Between that we barely got any sleep. Lifeguards were not doing anything about kids running in the pool and one kid literally pushed my daughter so hard she fell on her back and he was on top of her, she scraped her arm and no lifeguards in sight. Pull out beds were broken and so slanted. My son couldn't sleep on it and ended up sleeping on the floor in the bunk bed room on the couch cushions. They do have a lot to offer such as kids yoga, arts and crafts, the water park, balloon animals, family dance party and other activities with additional purchase. They have the Hilton resort people stands on first levels that harass you to spend $349 to go to a timeshare presentation then you supposedly get $200 back it's very annoying. read more

The real kicker was the morning we were trying to leave. stood in line at the restaurant for 15min and eventually gave up. Sliding in with an update as we've done our second year in a row here. If you have kids, you've got to check it out! Really fun, and fortunately for us, our kids love it more than Disney (which is insane but very practical). Pro's for midwesterners here: no flying, no expensive plane tickets or a day spent traveling... it's an easy drive from many midwest locales, and as a Kansas Citian, 30 minutes from my house. The rooms are priced high in the winter weekend months, but when compared to a big trip it balances out OK in the end. My girls are now 7 and 3, and just loved this place from the minute they came in. There is: -An arcade -Candy shop -Souvenir shop (get the wolf ears they hand out!) -Activities in the lobby like crafts, yoga, dance parties -Laser tag -Mini golf -Some sort of magical quest activity -And of course, a gigantic indoor water park that's 84 degrees year round Most things fit their age, and we were lowkey surprised how much fun we had blowing through money at the arcade like it was 1990 all over again. We literally earmarked $100 for it this time around because it's so fun, and bonus: with all the tickets you score, the kids get souvenirs so you kinda get something out of it. I sprung for the KidCabin suite because we wanted it to be memorable for them, and their own little space with bunk beds was exactly that. They LOVED it, and I loved having a bit of privacy when they went to bed at 8 pm. The water park is a lot of fun, and as others have mentioned, a bit overwhelming at first. It's loud, echoey, and jam-packed to the brim. Once we all settled in, we had a lot of fun and I even snuck away for a few turns on the big water slides. You can also check out towels which is nice, and we threw our stuff on chairs and never worried about it. If you need a locker you can pay to rent one. We did on our last day and they were broken but they worked it out for us. This waterpark has: - a little kids area with small slides - a bigger pool with basketball goals - a centralized set of sprinklers and stairs (and a gigantic bucket that drops on everyone every three minutes) - Two intermediary water slides - Three big water slides - Lazy river (that requires some movement as it doesn't flow that well but is still really fun) My nits to pick are small, but we had a rattling ceiling lamp cage that was so loud with the kids above us jumping. It woke us all up bright and early, and the rooms allow a lot of outdoor noise in like a cheap apartment complex.. All in all though, it exceeded my expectations and was a lot of fun, if not a tad expensive, but I can confidently say we will be back sometime as the girls just had an absolute blast. I've been to better GWLs this one is small, no workout room, no business center or any place you can work, outside your room. It feels a bit worn down and tired. Additional fees for parking and other things mean your good deal isn't as good. New included attractions needed to keep it interesting for kids older than say 10 years old. I admit that I've dreaded Great Wolf Lodge anticipating large crowds and chaos. We finally decided to give it a try and booked 1 night to see how it goes. We ended up adding on a 2nd night! They text you a discounted rate for adding on an extra night and we were able to stay in the same room so we said yes! The areas are enclosed so you don't feel like you have to watch your child as closely as you would in a more open space. Towels are provided so just ask for how many you need prior to entering the water activity area. We found that, although it was crowded, the lines moved quickly for the slides. We had a lot of fun on the big slides as a family riding as a 3-person rider. You are able to stay all day with your reservation but we found it to be less busy mid-day as people are checking out and in. There are fun activities planned in the evening like a dance party and story readings that are really fun for the kids. Food is expensive and what you would expect...mediocre. There are places nearby and parking/driving is so easy and accessible. We went to an Asian restaurant for dinner nearby. Because you wear a bracelet that serves as your room key and a way to charge items to your room, it's very easy to accumulate a large bill. The breakdown of the bill can get confusing so next time I'll keep a better track of spending in the moment. We will definitely be going back (perfect Winter activity) but we will bring a lot of our own food and snacks. We will bring sandwich things and easy to heat items (easy mac, etc.). We plan to skip out on most internal food options and drinks. Also, no staff told us but each person gets FREE wolf ears! You go to the store by the reservation desk and ask for them and they hand them over. I didn't know and bought a pair when we arrived. This our 3rd stay at this location, each year it has gotten worse. This will be our last stay. The hotel is older, outdated and dirty. We purchased the breakfast package and at the buffet literally seen a cockroach. We did not want to eat In house after that. The beds are so old they are sagging in the middle and very uncomfortable. Our kids enjoyed the arcade and laser tag. The wAterpark is outdated and could use a good scrubbing. The outdoor pool was ok, just your average pool. The hotel was busy and it took forever to get the elevator and on our last day one elevator broke making it nearly impossible to get on one with all our luggage to check out. I will compliment the willow app , I texted to request extra bed linens and she responded very quickly. We will not be returning to this location again. read more

1) Do not use the kiosk to check-in. They placed a $240 hold on my debit card, but told me the next day it would have only been $100 if I had checked in at the counter. Next night they attempted another $140 hold and I was told they have no idea why that happened. 2) One of the two elevators works...and you have to wait minutes each time you want to use it. 3) Assorted dozen of donuts from downstairs consisted of 8 chocolate donuts (of which all the chocolate was melted off when they heated up the frozen donuts) and 4 assorted. 4) Thankfully there are enough restaurants in close driving distance so you don't have to pay the astronomically high prices to eat at the lodge. 5) Just don't go. read more

You want a fun time that is geared toward your kids and will give them an awesome couple of days? Great Wolf Lodge is your place. Want a place that also gives adults bang for their buck and gives them a relaxing time to enjoy with their kids? Then you are completely out of luck. This is the most understaffed and poorly managed place I have been to. We did not complain and basically took everything on the chin because it was all about our kids and their fun and fun they did have. We got the upgraded package so the kids could have extra fun. The magic quest wands were cool because they could carry them around the resort and interact with hidden items all over. The laser tag left much to be desired. It was just me and my daughter and the course is super tiny and void of any fun. It would actually be more fun if you could run through a course together shooting things but instead I just tried to make the experience fun for her even if I was unimpressed. The mini golf was horribly run down and void of any creativity. My ball hit wood chips on several occasions and the ball routinely get stuck in impossible to hit locations. Was a very underwhelming experience. The waterpark was well done. It was clean and fun for the kids and I suppose that is the main attraction so good on them. Build a bear was a disaster. We waited for 40+ minutes because they only had one person filling bears. Eventually a second person came but they decided that taking the trash out and trying to close up was more important than ringing us out and taking care of the line waiting in the very hot and humid room. Arcade was your typical arcade and our package gave you 3 free games. Well this took all of 5 minutes and was clearly designed to get you to buy more gameplay. Well even swiped our card and one machine stole all of our credits so I went to tell the young dude working at the counter and he got extremely snippy with me. He was too dumb to figure out what game I was clearly pointing to and he got mad when I asked for more credits since the machine had an error. The rooms left a lot to be desired. I had a heck of a time trying to get into the crappy and tiny bathroom. The shower gel bottle was ripped off the wall and clearly nobody thought to fix it. The bed was so soft and worn out that every time I turned over, my wife would roll to the center of the bed. And the outside area was so dirty and faced the parking lot that I had no desire to even sit outside on a nice day. The restaurant had its own issues but I will address that in another review. Overall this was worth it for the kids but if you think you are getting $500 a night value then you will be mistaken. You really have to go into it with an open mind and with the idea that this is for the kids and is going to be an awful experience for the adults. Lastly, I know this is a bit harsh and unfair, but not once did I see management of any sort walking around. Normally I always see at least one person in hotels doing some managing but not here. My guess is they are sitting in their ivory tower counting their money instead of making sure all of these simple issues are fixed. Room 351..needs major work.. who in their right mind would want someone in this room? My biggest complaint for my FIRST time here is the room. You pay $1500 for 3 nights and walk into that the mold alone is awful. I get migraines often and as soon as I saw the mold I knew the migraine would be present. Anyways, the food buffet that you pay $116 for 3 days is NOT worth it. The food was subpar at best. Our son had a blast at the water park inside and out and the slides. We tried mini golf on our last night and half the lights were out which made it hard to play some holes. The only thing I physically liked at the place was outside bar to get snacks and drinks. They make great beverages hats off to those bartenders. We just checked out and I told the front desk about our room they put us in and was only given 20% off. The whole experience was terrible the website changed the dates while I was looking through packages and booking I called same day to change it I was quoted 190 for a room they asked me to confirm to charge me .they then charged me 228 just in the down payment they wanted to charge me 620 for the one night with the promo codes. I had to call back get it fixed at check in I was told my room was already clean . It was not we had to wait for our room it was then not cleaned properly I couldn't use the shower during our stay the room just looked decrepit, the wallpaper was peeling and the seems in the ceiling were all separating( very concerning when I know there are people above us running around). They booked us a conjoined room so we could hear regular conversation and everything they did the entire day . Someone pooped in the kid pool taking away 2 hours of use of the pool and someone else pooped the entire length of the women's bathroom. The next day we were first in line for pool opening we got in the baby pool with my 2 year old it clearly was not drained and cleaned/sanitized with the amount of junk at the bottom of the pool there was even a underarmour logo floating around in the pool at the start the pools there must be so dirty if they can't even properly sanitize and clean after human waste ! There was no indication of work being done on the hotel when I booked they closed down access to the lobby doors and the front entrance and the elevator wasn't working when I told support about all the issues that we ran into they said we'd do better next time for our other guests instead of making anything right it ruined my sons birthday we left the hotel earlier than expected I was completely grossed out over the lack of cleanliness and communication we had been there one other time and that room was just fine and we had no problems but this stay was ridiculous since booking this room should not of been issued to anyone in this condition , and for the price they tried charging me for this stay I shouldn't have to swim in unsanitary conditions and have to leave early and be told they'd do better for the next guest instead of making it right to my son . read more

We stayed at the Kansas City, Kansas location this past Saturday, December 6, 2025, for a family Christmas outing. Because we have a large family of ten, we booked the Wolf Den suite. Upon arrival, I was genuinely impressed with the entertainment and overall atmosphere. Although we arrived before our room was ready, we appreciated being able to enjoy the waterpark in the meantime. However, shortly after renting a locker in the waterpark area, I noticed a very large cockroach crawling beneath the locker bins. My husband initially thought it might have been a water beetle, so I tried to dismiss it. We placed our belongings on a nearby guest chair and went to enjoy the water activities. When I returned to check on our things, both I and another guest witnessed a cockroach crawling underneath the chairs toward a drain. The other guest mentioned they planned to report it to management. I informed my husband again, and although we kept an eye out, we did not see any further insects--though we only remained in the swim area for about another hour. I did not observe any in our room. Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying at this Great Wolf Lodge location until the issue is addressed. I certainly would not feel comfortable eating on the premises. Before leaving, I thoroughly checked our swim bags and clothing to ensure nothing traveled home with us. The incident was extremely unsettling and unfortunately put a damper on our trip. read more

My family and I have been coming to this Great Wolf Lodge location at least once a year for about 11 years. The kids have always loved it! It's always been a fun place for some quality family time; they offer a schedule of activities throughout the day and into the evening including kids yoga in the morning, craft times, character appearances throughout the day, an outdoor dance party at the outdoor pool, story time, and a dance party at the end of the night! The offer different packages for dining and activities. They have shops and restaraunts so you don't even have to leave the resort during your stay. They have a pizza/pasta place, a sweet shop with treat, coffee, and ice cream, they have a grab and go style shop with some sandwiches and salads, a concession type place in the water park, and a full restaurant! They have a gift shop and a shop with swim attire and accessories like goggles and sandals. There is a build a bear shop, laser tag game, mini golf, an arcade, and magi quest which is an interactive game unique to Great Wolf Lodge. It's easy to keep the kids busy and having fun all day long! We have stayed in several types of rooms and our favorite is the kid cabin; all the rooms are spacious and clean. The resort itself is not new and it does show some signs of aging... the room we stayed in this trip had some areas with frayed carpet. Also, the back of the curtains on the balcony were really dirty; the front desk staff offered to swap them for a clean set as soon as I informed them. A few years ago they started using a texting system for assistance, if you need anything or have any questions you just text "Willow" which is really convenient. The resort has an app you download with all information about the resort and your stay! The signs of aging in the water park appear to be cosmetic; after coming for so many years, we can see that they are making improvements at least once a year and seem to primrose safety so the issues I would report are cosmetic, like needing a fresh coat of paint around pools and the lazy River. We've also been here for Howl-o-ween' and winter wonderland and they always have seasonal activities and themes. Overall we like Great Wolf Lodge and will continue to return. read more

Pros- 2 stars because my grandkids loved it. They talk about visiting the 'wolf house' again. Cons- Where do I begin? I used a discount code at reservation (who wouldn't with how expensive it is without). I called over the phone and TALKED to someone. The biggest family room wasn't available, so I asked what was. They told me that the family suites were. I needed to reserve 4 because I was bringing all my kids and their kids (grandkids). I asked if they had adjoining rooms, "No". I asked if our rooms would be together. There was no indication that they wouldn't be. At check-in, I asked the same questions. There was absolutely no indication that the rooms would not be 'together' when I asked AGAIN. (If you need to know, I probably asked at least a handful of times) I get the first two room numbers, on completely different floors... I go to the front desk. Because of "the room type that was chosen there is only one room with this room type AT THE END OF THE HALLS ON EACH FLOOR." Wait, What!?! I was not privileged to this information when I MADE the reservation OR at the front desk when I checked in. So, all four rooms were on different floors on opposite sides of a VERY LONG hallway. That was the beginning of my heartbreak. Another problem with using a code- NONE of the money you spend goes towards Voyager points!!! Combined, my group spent at least $800 MORE in food, games, gift shop, etc. NONE of it "qualifies" for voyager points!!! Outrageous! Other cons- Paid parking, cold showers, light fixtures not working, $6 cannoli hollow in the middle!!!, not enough staff (I could tell you about our pizza fiasco!), 2 of our rooms were the nearest to magi quest... imagine the NOISE. I'll leave it at that. The MOST disappointing thing is that I was not TOGETHER with my family. Our time together was cut drastically by having to walk so far from room to room. I have been to GWL four times, three different areas. This stay has me questioning the integrity of this establishment. read more

I've stayed at some amazing places and I've stayed at dumpy motels. KC Great Wolf Lodge is on the lowest end of the spectrum. 2 nights over $900. Everything costs extra, including parking ($20 per night). Self check in broken. Arcade was clostraphobic, lines to go to the water park which didn't have half of what the web site claims is here. Only soap in the room was a pump in the shower. Room not fully cleaned from last guest. Website shows tons of food/resturant options but all but 1 are take back to your room. Kids in the bar area in the 1 sit down area. So many textures in the room i worry about a migraine/seizure. Door doesn't lock correctly and has a board barely attached to hold the extra lock. I'll never do Great Wolf Lodge again! read more

The water park needs to be cleaned thoroughly, my 3 year old swam for 2 hours and went down the slides and immediately after developed an awful rash that the doctor said was swimmers rash from contaminated water, the entire place needs a complete update and cleaning. read more

Don't remove your towels from the water park! If you don't return your towels to the attendant you will receive a bill at the end of your stay! Be smarter than me, don't take towels back to your room or worse yet, don't leave them in the park. Overall, pretty good stay. Its a bit expensive of a trip but, the kids got to sleep on their own treehouse bunk bed and loved it. read more

I was concerned that one night wouldn't be enough at great wolf lodge, but it wound up being perfect. We swam, built a bear, played in the arcade, ate the buffet (meh. Easy to reheat grocery store food, but it hit the spot), raided the candy bar, and panned for gemstones in the sluice. The room was comfortable and despite several people around us, we didn't notice a lot of outside noise. read more

We just did a day pass. We were there about 4-5 hours and that was plenty. I was annoyed that our pass can with laser tag, but that area was closed because it wasn't working. My 9 year old had lots of fun though. read more

Bed Bugs - Beware Based on my experience, I strongly urge anyone staying at Great Wolf Lodge to thoroughly inspect your entire room and check your body before you leave. If you discover bites after your stay, be prepared to be stonewalled after a week did they respond. Emails and phone calls to the lodge went unanswered. Great Wolf Lodge later claimed they conducted an inspection well after the incident and stated there were no bed bugs--despite the very clear proof all over our bodies. My kids were affected the worst. If this happens to you: Take clear photos of all bites immediately Go to a doctor and get medical confirmation Request inspection reports and incident reports in writing Contact the Kansas City Department of Agriculture Leave reviews to warn other families This was an extremely frustrating and upsetting experience, especially involving children. My family and I vacationed here with friends for a few days. This was our first time staying in a resort like this. The room was nice and clean. The amenities were surprisingly nicer than I expected honestly. We enjoyed their arcade, miniature golf, and of course the indoor pool area. Of course the food/drinks were overpriced but was expected. We dined in the first night with their buffet. I think it was overpriced for what all the offered to eat but somewhat good. The indoor water area was very humid but constant activity for everyone. Plus, but having to use sunscreen is always great. Overall great first experience for my family! read more

This was our first time at any Great Wolf Lodge. I brought my 7 year old daughter for a small vaca before she starts school. I can't rate this place high enough. Everything was super simple, from booking to checking out. Booking online was so easy. I booked through the website and then later downloading the app, but would've done it the other way. We did the wolf pass and the food voucher into the reservation as well. Only a deposit was required at the time. Which was great. We just did a standard room, as it was just the 2 of us and would be out exploring most the time. Getting to the lodge for check in was easy as can be. It was nice that the wristbands you wear throughout your stay is the key to your room, so won't ever lose it. The room was nice and very clean. Also, upon checking in, you receive a text from WILLOW, which is a convenient texting assistant during your stay. There was so much to do!! First night we went ahead and did the build a bear (wolf) and started the MagiQuest (which was a fave of my daughters). Also checked out the arcade for a bit. My daughter and I got a cup of candy at the candy store. The indoor and outdoor water parks were really awesome. Water was a good temp so was never cold. Outdoor was more of a pool area as opposed to a park. But was a hot, beautiful day out, so the one day we stayed outside. We did the mining of stones (in the souvenir shop), got ice cream, had pizza, and everything else we can do. The pizza is really good by the way. Also did a round of mini golf in the evening after it cooled off, as there was no shade. The pack members (employees) were really amazing. Every single one we interacted with was extremely kind and helpful. The never acted put out when we'd have even the most smallest of questions. Check out was a breeze. Didn't even have to wait at the desk. You just texted WILLOW when you were out of your room and ready to check out and could just leave. Took my kids and some of their friends for a birthday party and though they had a great time at the pool area, as the parent paying for it, I was a disappointed. I must say the staff was very nice, but the place is just really outdated and the price you pay you would think it would be kept up. For instance, our rooms had no working TV and they couldn't change us to a different room so they gave us vouchers for morning breakfast which there was no clean plates and had a hard time finding someone to get us. read more
