My wife and I were thinking of moving to Colorado and start a new office here (I'm a doctor). To…read moreget a feel for Castle Rock, we took a week long vacation to see how life is like in this beautiful state. We were extremely disappointed. We walked around downtown Castle Rock on a tuesday night. We saw this old biker guy smoking outside the Castle Rock Bar & Grill and he whistled at my wife and said "Damn i'd like to smash that p*ssy." I turned around and was about to smack him upside the head when he pulled a knife on me. A police officer came out of nowhere and said to the guy, "Hey Rupert. What have we told you about your temper before?" He put the knife away and rode off. My wife tried to explain to the officer what happened but the cop said "Some people are like that around here. We have officers at every corner. Don't worry." Makes me wonder what kind of ruckus happens in this town. We walked the trail at Rock Park (Is that why they named this city Castle Rock?) and it was a nice little hike. My wife and I enjoy outdoorsy activities and we climbed up the actual rock. We were not surprised to see we weren't the only ones up there. What did surprise us was the teenager who had a line of cocaine on an old textbook ready to go. He looked like he already did one or two lines already, based on his reaction. As a doctor I could not let this stand. I tried to talk to him and see if I could get him some help, but he started picking up rocks and throwing them at us. Eventually he had us backed up against one of the boulders there and he started to flee down the trail. He injured himself going down because we saw him limping away quickly after repeatedly yelling "The lizard race is upon us, all hail Trump." Lastly, we sat at a cafe (I believe it was called crowfoot valley cafe) and we overheard two men at a table near us talking about a meeting for the Klan this week by the movie theater. Yes, I spelled it with a "K" because they were talking about their freshly washed hoods and the elderly African American man (That was NOT the words they used, however) that was going to get "exactly what he asked for being what he was." In conclusion, I have no idea what kind of town this is but I am extremely disappointed in it. When we read online that it was an expanding city with lots of room for luxury and growth, we saw a place that my wife and I could start a family at. Now we are going to continue our search for a dream home because this is not the city we were told it was. I would never recommend this place to anyone except for loony tunes and racist scumbags.

I'm really excited for CRCO. It's refreshing to have a new news outlet in town who covers more…read morein-depth, community news. Glad to have you all here!

Absolutely Unacceptable Experience!!…read more I would strongly advise AGAINST using Anytime Movers. I scheduled my move with them over a month in advance, confirmed multiple times, and still received no call and no show on the morning of my move. I reached out several times leading up to the date just to confirm start time, and while they stated saying "It would be our pleasure" and "we can help you" I never heard from them again, not even after they failed to arrive. Because of this, I had to: * Pay extra for next-day movers at the last minute * Pay for an additional month of storage * Pay a fine for a late move-in at my new complex My company had previously referred Anytime Movers based on word-of-mouth, but after this experience, we will no longer be recommending them. Breaking items can be replaced, but breaking trust and leaving people stranded during an already stressful process is unacceptable. There was no explanation, no apology, and no response to my messages.... just silence. Completely disheartening and unprofessional. On the positive side, I called Skyline Movers, and they were everything Anytime Movers was not- warm, responsive, and genuinely caring. They stepped in last minute and restored my faith in what real customer service looks like. Stay far away from Anytime Movers. Do not trust them with your move.

Avoid at all costs. Prior to scheduling my move with this company, I was recommended to rent a…read moreUhaul truck to "save the company on gas money". I thought it was weird, but didn't think much into it. Then I meet two movers from this company at my place, only for them to tell me that my bigger furniture, and everything for that matter, had to be disassembled on my own prior to moving. I was initially confused because in my past experience with moving companies, disassembling is common practice for movers (as is reassembling). So simply put, this company is LITERALLY just a group of guys that only want to get paid just to move. However, a third mover by the name of John showed up saying he was a "man of christ" and offered to help disassemble my furniture - even after I made sure if they wanted to and confirmed if we should cancel the move entirely, if it goes against their policies. They agreed to proceed on their own merit. About 30 mins later, when these group of men are attempting to disassemble my bed frame, they partially remove the frame first, drop the headboard with a single bolt left to remove, and it breaks. The crack is so steep, that it obviously needed to be repaired prior to assembling it again at my new place. After much time passed with them trying to figure out how to finish disassembling other furniture, about 5-6 other movers showed up without my prior consent (which meant I had to give a much bigger tip at the end). And many of these movers looked like teenagers. When some of these movers were going through some of my things in my garage, they mentioned how they were not doing well financially and had kids to take care of at home, so I decided to donate several of my things to these other movers with the hopes of not paying a larger tip than I had already accounted for. And yet I was still pressured to provide a big tip anyway when the move was complete. When I inquired about the headboard they broke, they said that they couldn't deduct that from the moving fee/tip and that they would compensate for it if I get a quote from a repairman. Mind you this was mid-April 2022. A month later, after multiple attempts at reaching out to this company with this quote on how much it would cost to have it repaired vs replacing it altogether, and threatening to leave this honest review, Ron (another co-owner who took over for John apparently on this matter) agreed to partially pay the repairman to fix my headboard. Only problem is that this repairman lives 50 miles away from me, so Ron agreed to deliver the headboard to this repairman also "because he's a man of Christ and takes accountability for what happened". Both John and Ron had even agreed to deliver the headboard back to me and assemble it for me at my new place, but I was fine with just the delivery back because I didn't want to risk them breaking my furniture all over again. When the repairman calls to tell me my headboard was fixed 2 weeks later, I again text and call this moving company for weeks to see if they can still honor their word. And man, what an ordeal it's been. First, yet another new co-owner "Jay" responds saying he doesn't know anything about the matter (two months from the initial move) to a few days later agreeing to deliver it to me, to a couple weeks later saying that new customers take top priority and blaming everything on me saying I should have had my furniture disassembled to begin with. Not once was this new guy Jay apologetic about his team breaking my furniture or the 2+ month back and forth exchanges in resolving this matter in accordance to the empty promises given by John and Ron because "they are men of Christ". So another week passes, and I'm sending multiple texts and voicemails to get a confirmation that this "company" will do as they say, while the repairman is simultaneously telling me he can't hold onto my headboard for that much longer. So I'm going to have to rent another truck and pick this up myself, in spite the large tip I gave all 9-10 movers that day and the random belongings I "donated". AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!!!

Sean kept us updated throughout the process via text, emails and phone calls. Sean also kept us calm when there was a potential snafu with the sewer inspection report. He made sure to get the right professional to provide a solid opinion, which was the right thing to do. So make sure to listen to Sean! During the contracting process, Sean explained several areas of the contract that were a bit unusual and provided a clearer understanding. That deep contract language understanding requires a very experienced broker such as Sean. Even though a house sale can be a very stressful process, Sean did a wonderful job with our house! One of the best brokers out there!
