Greater Good Realty is neither Greater nor Good. We had worked with them on a rental that THEY own. We were within hours of signing the lease and the Broker (David Stone) sent an email to say they sold it out from under us. He didn't even have the guts to call rather he just emailed. We spent a weeks negotiating a long term lease. My family was left in a very difficult spot. Apparently when talking to other knowledgable Brokers in downtown San Diego market this guy has done this to them too. As it relates to their "giving back", their owner even said to me "when looking for a marketing gimmick, giving back seemed a thing to push. Gimmick,,, Really? It now makes perfect sense. This is what I found to be valuable after working with David for a while. He is available all the time. We looked at places evenings, weekends, whenever. He is knowledgeable, but knows that the key is that you understand what to look for, what to think about, what to consider. He's not just going to say let me handle this, or yeah I'm going to find you the place of your dreams, that part is up to you, and the decision is up to you. You are buying the place, he just happens to have a lot of experience and can help you become aware of the things that might be important to you, and the things to pay attention to. He's not a car salesman and is not going to BS you. He is the right kind of guy to have there to confide in when you want to decide how much to offer or how much a place is worth, but a lot of that is purely dependent on you.
