I want to give a HUGE shout out to Woofs, in the Village of Webster! This facility is a dream for…read moredogs of all sizes, though I happened to have my 75lb Golden Retriever there recently. This indoor dog park has lots of room for dogs to just RUN, and has some agility equipment for those on the more athletic side. Kris, the owner, made sure this place was clean and pristine for our playtime there, and she remained on site and engaged with our dog Lucy the entire time. Woofs has a separate play area for smaller dogs as well, so when size matters to your furbaby, they can be assured that they'll feel safe and sound playing without the worry of being overwhelmed by larger dogs. Recently, with the canine flu going around, Woofs took some time to evaluate how to keep the doggos safe and healthy. Ultimately Woofs modeled some COVID best practices and we ended up with a private playtime for just our dog. Kris cleans between scheduled playtimes to ensure a clean and safe play area. I know several doggy day care places that don't take these precautions - it's definitely a hit to the "bottom line," but I fully appreciate the care that Woofs has taken to provide a safe, healthy, and holistic play alternative to dogs of all sizes, especially on inclement weather days. Woofs even has some exercise equipment (stationery cycles, and treadmills) that allow owners to get a workout in while overseeing their dog in the play area, if they so desire. Definitely a 10 out of 10, and we'll be back!!!!

It's a great place to go, just wish it wasn't so far away as it's hard to go often. Great for…read morerainy days

So there are not that many disc golf courses or dog parks here in the Rochester area. This park is…read moreboth!! This park is located in Henreitta and is a super clean and nice both dog park and disc golf course. The disc golf course is not a full disc golf course it's only 9 holes and they are par 3 or less for each hole. Making it to be somewhat "easier" of a course. However in my opinion this is an easier course than most bc the disc golf bins are so much closer to you than other parks such as elision. I do like the Elison park more in other respects though. The dog park, I've been to all the dog parks as well. This I also my favorite dog park in Rochester. They have two dog parks in one - one for small dogs and one for large dogs. The small dogs are allowed to go into the large dog area which is much bigger and has a little creek to plY and get extremely dirty in ... the smaller dog park is only for small dogs and has a lot of fun "playgrounds" to do tricks with your dog and no water! So you and your pup won't leave dirty. Both also have doggy fountains and doggy bags to keep the dog park cleans. FYI the disc golf course is public and free to anyone; the dog parks is Monroe county memebership through the libraries in Rochester and need a pass to get into. The pass includes the 4 only "private"dog parks in Rochester and is 20 dollars a year. If you love your dog and your dog loves playing with strangers it's worth it for sure. Happy golfing and dog playing :)

Super fun for dogs. You need to register to use this dog park. So much ample space and green grass…read morefor both large and small dog areas. There is water fountain on both sides. The large dog area has a small little creek running through it with lovely tall grass that make it super enjoyable for the dogs to sniff and explore. There is also a small bridge over the creek that make it super fun for dogs to run around. Super easy parking right in front. You would want to bring your own poo bags. The bags here are clear!

Harley (my pup) and I really like this dog park…read more The Park There are actually 2 fenced dog parks at Fireman's Park. One for small dogs and one for large dogs. Harley is in between size wise but so we go into the large dog park. (Its much bigger anyways). Both parks are very well kept. There was no garbage anywhere inside, they have a bunch of garbage bins so no one leaves their trash around. The fences are all in good repair so no pups are escaping. The grass both inside and outside the park is kept short which helps prevent ticks an other bugs which is very nice. Amenities There is a large water fountain for the dogs out front of the park so you don't need to worry about water. They also have buckets so you can bring water in. There is a holder for poop bags but it seems to always be empty. The parks also have a ton of benches and tables so you can sit an relax along the walking paths. The Dogs I know this isn't something the park can really control but I have found that the dogs/owners at this park are better behaved and more understanding then at some of the other parks in the area. We have only had one minor conflict between Harley and another dog and the owner was very apologetic and took care of the situation quickly. The only minor blip here is that sometimes people with really small dogs. (5-10lbs) will come into the large dog park and that could spell disaster. Harley and I will definitely be coming back here a lot more.

This is the largest dog park I have been to date. I could see this as being a blessing or curse…read moredepending on how vigilant people are about watching their dog(s). It has a lot of shaded areas, a first for me in the world of dog parks. There was a nice paved walking trail that made a loop, this was great to walk around with the dog to practice off-leash walking and also to have the dog explore other parts of the park. My only real complaint is that the little dog side is for dogs that are 10kg(22lbs) or less and the big dog side is everything else. That could put a pretty small dog on the big side. I think 13-15kg would be a better fit. My dog doesn't care if her play partners are big or small, but it might matter to some. The other dog owners weren't very talkative, which I am not used to. Usually people are super friendly. All in all, I will be back and I did really enjoy the park. I wish we had a similar one by me.
