The gyro meat, the shawarma chicken ( 10/10 so good!), the pita bread, all amazing. The falafel was good too, kinda looked fancy to me, really good dipped in tzatziki. The staff were really nice and understanding, even going out of their way to get extra parsley mix ( forget what it's called) when they were out and near closing time. Worth it! We got takeout and didn't stay, but the restaurant is a pretty chill place. Nothing fancy, but you probably won't think much of it when you're busy enjoying the food. Basically, I've found a new go-to for Greek food.

We arrived and were warmly greeted and they were in the process of mopping the floors, indicating a concern for cleanliness (as did the cylinders of sanitary/wet wipes on each table). My wife had the chicken platter and also received a huge portion. Despite the business's name, it appears this is closer to Egyptian rather than Greek cuisine. The french fries were perfect - crisp and nicely seasoned. Also, there's no salt on the tables (only hot sauce), although little salt & pepper packets can be found on a wall shelf. The pita bread was soft and warm. Of the meats, the gyro had some subtle flavor and was nice. Nothing tasted bad, but the salad, feta, chicken, rice, tzatziki, etc. was incredibly bland. In fact, it was so tasteless that it was off-putting and we couldn't even finish our meals. We're clearly not the target audience for this type of offering.

The service was a little on the slow side, but once the food arrived, it was absolutely worth the wait. The food was beautifully presented and, more importantly, delicious. I've lived in Murfreesboro for quite some time, and this is easily some of the best Arabic food I've had in the area. While nothing quite compares to the incredible Middle Eastern food found in the Dearborn, Michigan area, this restaurant comes impressively close. The flavors were authentic, fresh, and full of character. In fact, I've been back three times since my first visit, which says a lot. If you enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's become one of my favorite spots in town.

The aroma when you walk in this place is incredible. The air is filled with spices and aromas of cooked meat. The staff was incredibly helpful on recommendations. The seating is a mix of tables and Mediterranean/middle eastern themed. I ended up with the crispy chicken shawarma wrap. I believe they put sumac on the outside of the wrap and grill it into the bread. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and such a great bite. The best part for me was the baklava. I eat at a lot of local gyro places and have had baklava from most of them. This was the best baklava I have ever had! Can't wait to go back and get a mixed platter to try out more things.
