Beef Vermicelli with noodles on the side and Bones Broth

I usually dine in and sometimes order pick up. My order is accurate each time and the food is fresh and hot. The only downside is when I dine in I always order water with my meal and the water tastes absolutely terrible. Just awful!!

Always a great experience at Green Bamboo! I love their tofu pho! Just make sure to ask for the veggie broth, otherwise they will make it with pork broth. Food comes out fast and is always very flavorful.

Combo Pad Thai, Beef Fried Rice, and Egg Rolls

$5 Tom Yum soup was amazing. Great flavor! Plenty of large shrimp ... I think 5 or 6. All the dishes were great! Fried Rice was awesome. Pad Thai dishes were great. Kids noodle soup was a big hit with the little one. I'd probably skip the egg rolls next time and try the spring rolls. They weren't bad, just normal ... which made them stand out next to the other amazing dishes. Only downside was the lack of spice. No spice level to choose from. Thai food without spice is odd. But trust me, the flavors more than made up for the lack of traditional Thai spice ... and I added a bunch of spice at the table. Oh! And service was excellent. Very attentive and kind.

Rate Food 4/5 service 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 Green Bamboo Noodle House is one for my top favorites Vietnamese eatery!! Especially when I want something light and easy! The Pho Tom soup was my favorite. I did add some sriracha sauce for an extra spice kick. Of course, you have to order the egg rolls to balance out the meal.

This place is so awesome! I like a lot of their menu items and am happy to try things here. It's a bit far out so I haven't been back. I also love the Lemongrass Chicken, but which spiciness I like varies each time. The pad thai is also excellent here. The Mi Xao Mem is tolerable but not delightful. I also tried his Hu Tien Xao and loved it. The flat noodles are so flavorful! I wanna get that next time. In the house specials you can get all three but I found I loved the shrimp best- the chicken was good, too but the steak was just meh to me. Oh, they don't have brown rice here, so if you were hoping to sub out white rice for brown rice you can't do that here. I like this place enough to come back repeatedly. To Try: Curry Vermicelli Wonton Soup Pho Ribeye Wonton Mi Pho Nam cahn chua Love: - Hu Tien Xao (get next!) - Noodles: Pad Thai (max spicy) Like: - Appetizer: Egg Rolls - Lemongrass Chicken (medium spicy, rice dish) - Noodles: House Rice (without bok choy) shrimp and chicken - Noodles: Mi Xao Gion (Jon liked) - Pho: Ga - Rice: Combination Ok: - Appetizer: Fresh Spring Rolls - Noodles: House Rice (steak) - Noodles: Mi Xao Mem Dislike: - Appetizer: Golden Dragon (wontons) - Noodles: House Egg (chicke

Spring rolls, crispy dumplings, & Thai tea soooooo yum!

Everything is amazing, from the food to the service to the ambiance. This place never disappoints.

Have been going to Green Bamboo for decades now. Haven't been in a long time though. It's decent. Service is usually good and the atmosphere is nice.

Yummy vegan!

We tried to get lunch. Waiter walked by several times. No acknowledgement, greeting or talking of our order. After 15 min we left. :-(

Petals of a Peony is one of the best restaurants in Memphis, and I wish I had tried it sooner. I…read moremade the mistake of assuming it's just another American Chinese takeout spot. It is not. It is a Michelin recognized (i.e., fancy) authentic Szechuanese restaurant. While I can't comment on the authenticity, the flavors are deeper and bolder than any Chinese cuisine I've ever had. My brother and I fight over which is better, the boiling fish or the dry pot. Really, everything we've had has been excellent. It's possible to go affordable here with something like a fried rice dish, but I recommend being adventurous and trying something new. Every dish is sharing size and a table of two could eat their fill with one or two dishes. They get busy during peak times but they're good at turning tables and I've never had a bad wait. I'll note that the food comes out suspiciously quick, seemingly regardless of what we order it takes around 5-10 minutes, even when we brought a larger party.

FAVORITE SPICY FOOD OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE…read more I legit am in love with this place. I LOVE how the food had spice but it isn't overwhelming. It adds to the flavor without being the only thing to the food. I just wish I had more people who liked spicy food to come eat here with me. I came back with some friends from out of town and it was still amazing. My fav thing is still on the Lunar New Year Menu: the Sichuan Mala Dry Pot. It had amazing flavor, good spice, and everything in it was just awesome. I've found a similar thing on the regular menu so I won't have withdrawals except for the fact that I genuinely want to eat here every week and can't hahah To try: Mapo Tofu Appetizer: Steamed Chicken with Chili Sauce Edamame Beef Spicy Crispy Chicken Sichuan Style Fried Rice Dandan Noodles Spicy Dry Noodles Loved: - House Special Mala Xiang Guo Dry Pot - Lunar New Year: Sichuan Mala Dry Pot (ABSOLUTE FAV) - Peony Chicken Liked: - Beef and Broccoli - Fried Rice: Yangzhou Style - Lunar New Year: Homestyle Whole Fish - Lo Mein: chicken, shrimp, and extra spice - Twice Cooked Pork Ok: - Tea: Jasmine - Lunar New Year: Garlic Pork Ribs Disliked: - Lunar New Year: Four Happiness Meatball - Traditional Kung Pao Chicken

I have been meaning to visit this place for a while, and it finally happened!!…read more As always, my review is based on my experience. Went here for a date night. I had to add my name to their waiting list through the iPad in the front desk. Real quick and simple. We were seated within 10 minutes. The service is very different than usual. They explained us that once you look at the menu and are ready to ordered to buzz on the right hand corner and a server would come and take your order. The appetizers and ramen were very delicious. The broth had a lot of flavor. The place is very uniquely decorated. Just like a bee hive. Honeycomb nooks with tables and not comfy seats though. But I liked the ambiance and decorations! I highly recommend!!

Exceptional customer service but the flavor of food left much to be desired…read more My husband and I came in today on my birthday and ordered a couple of Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu bowls along with the deep fried gyoza dumplings as an appetizer. The gyoza dumplings were absolutely phenomenal. The sauce on top was delicious. They were perfectly crisp and overall the flavor will bring us back! The ramen bowls, whilst both were ordered with black garlic, one arrived with black and one arrived with white garlic broth (you can tell the difference by the flavor and the color of the broths in one of my uploaded pictures) The dark garlic bowl was by far better than the white garlic bowl. The white garlic broth was very fatty (there was a separated layer of oil on top) and was very bland in flavor. This in conjunction with the fact that there was absolutely no sort of sodium available whether through a sauce form or in the form of a salt shaker or something on the table, made a majority of the bowl inedible for me personally. The chashu pork was very good, the egg was nothing special, the other additions to the bowl didn't do much to aid it. At the end, I did try my husbands broth and it was a lot better than mine was and would've changed a lot of my feedback about my bowl. We also ordered the passion fruit drink from Tbaar and it was absolutely AMAZING. I will absolutely be back to grab this drink over and over again. The ambiance inside was great. We loved how they have the entire place set up, they're very fast to come to help when you press the button. You are otherwise not bothered at all. There's a ton of seating options. It looks really cool in there and the little booths have a curtain separator so it feels really private, which is nice. We will be back, we will probably just bring some salt with us next time.
