Ordered Uber eats delivery for the first time trying this place. So I have no idea what it even looks like. Ordered Moo shu chicken, Mongolian beef, and house lo mein. I wish I could give this 3.5 stars, but it's closer to 4 than 3. PORTIONS ARE GREAT! I was shocked at the prices, but when I see what you get for them, it's worth it. 3 dishes is at least 3 meals for 2 people. Flavors are average. Nothing amazing, but not bad by any means. The Mongolian beef I was expecting to be a bit more spicy, but the peppers used were few and far between. Moo shu is a must for me and Chinese food. This mooshu was very good, but far from great. Very Authentic. Nobody outside of front desk spoke a lick of english. Could hear them chattering and cooking my food with the gas burners. Took only ten minutes and was $12 for a whole plate of chicken, noodles, and fried rice alongside an egg roll. China Wok is my go to comfort food order on UberEats. The dishes are a bit pricey for takeout when first just looking at the menu, but overall the very large portions make up for this. One order of the orange chicken and white rice can last me up 2-3 days (in the fridge.) I'm all for leftovers and saving money, so the portions are perfect! Egg roll was hot and crispy without being overdone. The noodles serving was plentiful but felt they were rather bland. Perhaps other items are tastier. For a small Chinese carry out or delivery place it really doesn't get better. I've had most of the menu now. I may like other preparations if some dishes better at other places but everything here is cooked well. Of note, the dumplings are fantastic. All of the chicken dishes I've tried are very good. Like others have said, this place is low on glamour and is really best as a carry out place. Also listen to everyone else when they say to skip the fried rice here, it's very meh. That said, the entrees are good. I really appreciate a place that can serve sweet and sour chicken that has a light crispness without rubberizing the chicken. I'm also a big fan of the moo-shiu pork. My family has gotten takeout dinner here many times and its very reasonably priced. They also have $4.95 lunch special with a wide variety of options, I appreciate they make a drink a side option. This place was completely dead during dinner hours so that told me something wasn't right plus the place was in disarray with boxes and other stuff all piled up on one side of the tiny store so that was discouraging but my daughter begged me to give them a shot anyways because she loves Chinese food and was craving it bad so I did and now I know she wishes she would've believed my gut feeling and wishes we would've left and I feel guilty for not putting my foot down when I knew this place was gonna have horrible food and Omg did they! Not only did my daughter get food poisoning from the expensive meal I bought her but she's been sick from it for days now and still can barely eat anything without feeling nauseous again so this disgusting place pretty much charged me $16 for bad food that could've caused her to have even worse stomach cramps, vomiting and even more misery if I wouldn't have told her to not touch anymore of the leftovers because just like a teenager, she didn't believe it was the Chinese food until she noticed she was getting better once that food was out of her system and me trying to complain to the people that own and run that crap place is like arguing with a Lil kid that doesn't speak a lick of English... "(so she wanted me to think)"...but they will argue and scream at you in their language for hours before they'll ever hand over a refund or even a food credit which I wouldn't take anyways cause I don't wanna get sick like my poor daughter did after giving me that guilt trip and made me believe I was just being paranoid about this place so I got her what she wanted and I truly regret putting my guilt of disappointing her before my better judgment about this place and the "food" they serve. Now I know why this place had no customers except us at the busiest time of day for any restaurant...the dinner rush!. I personally don't care for Chinese food and that's why I didn't order anything for myself and now I'm grateful that I don't like it much but I hate I allowed my daughter to eat their food but I'm pretty sure after this horrible experience, my daughter no longer likes Chinese food as much either which sucks because I know there's some great Chinese restaurants that are safe with what they serve their customers but we won't be trusting any for a very long time now that my daughter gets nauseous just thinking about Chinese food. This place needs to be inspected thoroughly because it's apparent that they've gotten many other bad reviews from other unsatisfied customers and I'm sure it's for the same bad experiences we had plus the restaurant looks unhealthy, unorganized and very unprofessional when you know that food is being prepared and cooked there and could be the cause of a lot more people getting sick. Generally never give bad reviews but this Chinese restaurant was so bad had to warn people of my horrific experience. A few years ago they were pretty decent, now they are simply aweful in which they rip off their customers. Ordered takeout...the Mongolian beef (more like Mongolian onions) which was served overflowing with soupy gravy that made a complete mess with lo mein noodles...they served ramen noodles instead of the traditional lo mein noodles and charged extra money for it. They literally placed a thin layer of lo mein noodles on top but underneath was a pile of ramen noodles. Never in my life have I ever had such a obscene flagrant scam on cuisine. Tried to argue they don't serve ramen noodles, all the while I am looking at it...ate it for years in college. One would be better going to Panda Express...that should sum it up! :( read more
