    Bun rieu

We ordered Hu Tu Nam vang, fish sauce chicken wings, bun rieu, papaya salad, nem nuong spring roll and a Vietnamese coffee with condense milk. Overall, it was a pretty solid experience. The place is very nice and CLEAN! The service was quick and friendly! The papaya salad is the star of the show! The nem nuong spring rolls were amazing! The fish sauce chicken wings is missing a sweet flavor. It is more on the savory side. The bun rieu is good, but it is little salty for my taste, the hu tieu nam vang (tapioca noodles). The broth is vey generic. It is missing the "Hu tieu" flavor. If I have to guess, it would be the "radish flavor," fried shallot and fried squid flavor for the umami. Most of their the dish I have tired is on the savory side which is fine. The coffee is chef kiss! Try it out! For those haven't viet papaya salad, it is on the more fresh and citrus side less fish sauce (they don't use shrimp paste).

Still in love with this spot... been slowly trying the menu. Had the Bun Bo Hue and chicken wings. Delightful. Friendly hostess who can help a newbie navigate Vietnamese food!

Another great meal at our new favorite Vietemese restaurant, Phò 4 ever! Never saw a restaurant so clean and the waitstaff so helpfull. Trying to find something negative to say.But I can't other than the idea that they seem rather empty a lot of the time. Maybe it is because we dine out often around 7:00 or 7:30 and this place closes at 8:00. Wish they stayed open until 9pm during daylight savings time. The food is very authentic and traditional. I feel it is better here than their other location, but I am American and Cordova serves mainly Asian customers. Trying to work thru the menu so today I tried the papaya salad which is not Som Tom (the firey hot Thai version) but rather a sweet/ salty/ sour vietemese style that was both filling and irresistible. Every bite was firing all cylinders, yum. Wifey got a veggie filled rice noodle dish where the noodles are fried to a crunchy / chewey deliciousness. Her go to to decide how well she is going to love a place and it delivered!!

Amazing pho, delicious banh mi, and the egg rolls were very good. The customer service is very nice, everyone who works there is very kind. It's very relaxing and calming to sit down inside and eat. Definitely take your business here !!

It's a comforting embrace on your dehydration from partying the night before. It's the gentle kiss of the sunlight on the first spring day. It's the caress of the lover that got away. Today I needed food to hit my soul. I've had a lot going on and sometimes it's hard to find that special dish that will make your day. This bowl gave me hope and vitality. What a lovely and well seasoned experience. I don't write reviews often but this experience hit different. Please be kind to restaurant staff. Food tastes better when you have a good heart.

The broth has a slightly sweet flavor that I personally really enjoy. Their salted lemonade is really fresh and refreshing, it's a must-order every time I visit! My only complaint is the portion size. The bowls are a bit small. As a female, I need to order a large to feel full. Most males may probably want to order an appetizer or another dish on the side. Service is pretty much the same as it was at the old Vietnamese Restaurant, minimal and not particularly attentive. Overall, the food keeps me coming back, especially the pho and salted lemonade. Four stars.

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!

Went as soon as they opened up and was the only one sitting while others were ordering for pickup. I sat by the window inside but it does have a nice shaded outdoor patio area. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. She even answered my question about the Hattoek. As I was finishing my meal, she put my noodles on the to-go container since it can be tricky. I ordered the Fried Mandus, medium curry ramen (sub chicken for extra beef) & Hattoek. It's just as I remembered it. The curry sauce was yummy and the beef paired perfectly. Next time, I'll get extra veggies with it too. 1st time trying Hattoek and it was nice. The ice cream was a little nutty and donuts filled with warm cinnamon. As long as this place is opened, I will always be a customer.

Their ramen is literally top ramen instant packs with chicken bouillon cubes and maybe some seasonings...& their appetizers are always greasy. Mandu's aren't really even mandus. Their jjangmeon is greasy as well and not even authentic to its real taste. I gave it 3 more tries before I realized yeah..this place has gone downhill terribly. I didn't like one of my dishes and i specifically told them what I didn't like about it and they still charged me because the chef said "I made it correctly" and I was very disappointed because a kimchi soup should NEVER taste tomatoe-y EVER. I looked back in the kitchen and saw white folks in the kitchen and knew yeah, no. this establishment has no soul or care. There are better Korean options here in Memphis, after some time this place has lost all its care and soul. Like who serves appetizers on plate that says "oh shucks" and it's a picture of oysters...it gives CHEAP & careless.

When you walk in you'll check in with the host to be seated. The restaurant feels like a super cute, casual ramen shop vibe right in the heart of Memphis. For food we started by ordering the crawfish dumplings (crawfish, shrimp, cream cheese & togarashi). The dumplings were good, almost like a take on a Crab Rangoon but with shrimp and crawfish. For entrees my partner ordered the Big City Ramen (chicken broth, chicken thigh, ajitama, corn & menma) and I ordered the Spicy Pork Ramen (miso broth, pork chashu, soft egg, scallion, nori). The Big City ramen had a really good balance of flavors and wasn't too spicy. The spicy pork ramen was good but a bit like on the spicy side. For dessert we ordered the Thai tea dessert which was really well balanced and a perfect way to the end the meal. Highly recommend stopping by Good Fortune if you are in the Memphis area.
