I'm posting this for my stepmom, Nancy: Filiberto came to my home in Fallbrook to trim up my two avocado trees and pine tree, and sculpted my palm tree to resemble a pineapple! He also removed my dead apple tree. At no extra charge, we walked around my property and he educated me on how to properly care for my additional fruit trees. He even purchased the organic citrus and fruit tree nutrients and was kind enough to show me how to apply them. He also advised me that my avocado & apple trees need more water, which is why the apple tree died. To add to that, he had his men chop up my apple tree so that I could use the wood to use in my smoker! He took great care to protect my other many plants while trimming my trees. Wow & Wow!! We had a huge job to clear our property. The pine trees were 40 to 50 feet tall & the latest winds we're starting to make us really nervous. We interviewed three companies & selected a company who could start on Sunday. They did a fine job and it was a fair price. For the second part of the job we decided to hire Fil and Lupe. Fil the owner came out to give us a quote for our 5 overgrown Eucalyptus trees. We were shopping around so we had requested multiple quotes but Fil was the most reasonably priced and honestly,  provided the most value. Initially, they thought it would be 7-10 days before they could start work, but ended up coming out 5 days later to start. The team topped and laced 7 large pepper trees (and took care of 1 problematic surface root), laced 1 Arbuto tree (at no charge), and took out several stumps/dead bushes (at no charge). Once they were done cutting, they raked up all work areas spotlessly, chipped everything, and hauled away all the mulch. The team was so friendly, efficient, and fantastic at what they do. Great find. I hired Fil and Green Care to trim two queen palms that make a mess every September. The price was what it should be from past experience, and I'd had two bids far higher. When they arrived, they declined as the trees were diseased and dangerous. He explained the problem, and the risk, and encouraged me to shop around after giving me a price. His were low moderate for these very tall trees, according to three pricing websites for average cost. I'm glad I hired them. First, they are honest, good people, and communicate well. Two months after installation, the plants were burried in the weeds at the front yard and nothing was growing in the backyard. They gave 1 year warranty in the contract. I contacted their staff Angie and kept following up with her for response. She ignored me basically. 2 weeks later I had to contact HomeAdvisor and they helped me to get hold on the owner. The owner was mad at me that they aren't responsible to my plants. And he insulted me that normal people don't just wait if being ignored for so long. I paid $2450 to experience the horrible experience. $100 was overcharged on my credit card without authorization and never sent refund. read more
