Wow, where to begin? Three floors of memories and treasures that you didn't know you needed, and…read moreif that isn't enough, there is an adjacent building that is also full. The building is a repurposed older home with plenty of windows. Every space is filled with well-displayed knick-knacks, dishes, decor, toys, jewelry, tools, records, smaller furniture items, seasonal items and just about anything else you might need. As for prices, some things were very reasonably priced while others seemed over-priced to me. This is a great place for one-of-a-kind season decor! They have a Facebook page on which they post interesting items that are for sale in the shop. Be aware, the shop is closed on Friday and Saturdays, and is open Sunday-Thursday - 9:30 - 4:30, with cash-only sales on Sundays.

To be honest, it is a three story house and adjacent one story building which doesn't actually qualify as a 'mall'. Things are well displayed and ordered; however, as I moved from room-to-room it felt like a was seeing the same items at every turn. If you have several hours to spend I guess it's worth a visit. It is a poke from Middletown though especially with traffic and interstate construction.

He's (she's?) a kitty…read morewho's posted up in the shop most days, according to the friendly woman behind the counter. I didn't catch the cat's name when I was there, but Vintage Shop Kitty is super friendly and seemed to be receptive to pets. Besides cats, this place also has some really cool clothes -- all of them old, and all of them carefully curated and thoughtfully chosen. I can tell when a vintage clothing store has done its due diligence when I flip through the racks and I want to buy more than a few things. I was THIS close to buying a Western pearl snap shirt, but really: how many pearl snap shirts does a girl need? Regretfully, I put the shirt back on the rack. Hopefully, some other savvy person snapped it up. The Odd Shop has a lot of clothing, but it has just as much vintage toys, records, ephemera and trinkets for sale. Walking into the store is like walking into your (or probably my) childhood, because there are so many things from the 1980s and 90s for sale. So many Smurfs dolls! Mickey Mouse roller skates! Easy-Bake Ovens! It's a blast from the past here.

At first I was confused on the items being for sale versus the store's personal collection but began to notice price tags on many items. It's a small space to share with shoppers and the worker so no issue to be taken care of if you have questions on an item. Many items are in "as is" condition, or maybe better described as well loved. If you're a collector, this might be a spot for you. I found it a bit crowded and overwhelming so a quick glance through was enough. (I would not recommend bringing small kids to this shop) Easy to find street parking. Also, if you love cats, there are two here to greet you.

Inside is a plethora of goods with something for everyone. The store is clean with no musty 'antique' odor. Items are provided by various vendors and are artfully displayed with very reasonable prices. There are collectibles, costume jewelry, vintage books/ephemera, toys, vintage records, household items, bicycles, vintage clothing /accessories, and much, much more. I was told that vendors change the merchandise in their areas often, meaning that there should be new items to see on future visits. The shop is contained in 2 small houses next to each other, on the corner of Evergreen Rd and Old Shelbyville Rd. The staff in both shops were very welcoming and friendly, leaving us to browse without stress. Plenty of dedicated parking is around the buildings. Allow plenty of time for your visit so that you can see all the goodies! You are likely to find something that you didn't know you needed!

It consists of a barn and a nearby house originally built in 1912. The main store (barn) is well laid out and easily navigated. Prices are quite reasonable, inventory well displayed, and very immaculate overall appearance. Definitely worth multiple visits throughout the year as inventory changes. I purchased a Big Blue M&M Peanuts cookie jar with lid and add it to my March Madness Decor. Perfect for sausage balls.
