But over in the corner are stairs that lead to the main shop which is larger than anticipated and pretty full without looking crowded. The booths are well-maintained and tidy. There are several locations, and this one is located in the Hamburg area near Tractor Supply as a landmark. The drop off is on the right hand side of the building and can pull up and employees will collect the donated goods. They have signage directing where to enter the single drop off lane. There are also posted signs listing what can and cannot be donated. Staff are polite and helpful. I have not been inside the building or made a purchase to this point, so I cannot comment on that aspect of this business. I do know that the mission statement has been to sell donated items and then to utilize those funds to assist victims of abuse, which has our support 100%. (Side note: I also choose to donate here rather than at another specific well known charitable drop-off site which has high prices and high administrative costs, resulting in less funds going to the people it claims to serve.)

I went shopping a few weeks back with my 5 girls and some friends when we stopped into this shop. The clothing mainly consisted of 80s and 90s retro shirts, band merch and horror film merch. They had a massive record/vinyl collection to browse from. My oldest loves vinyls so she spent a lot of Time browsing those and had a blast. The workers here were very accommodating and friendly. Like most thrift shops you can find good bargains and then there are some you will Feel is overpriced. Overall a really cool and fun shop to check out, but things and even just browse.

And I had found that it once again expanded even more within the giant warehouse it occupies. It is quite easy to get lost in the maze of booths, but you're guaranteed a lot to look at along the way. Fleur de Flea is as much of an experience as it is a shopping spot. There are several midcentury modern furniture booths, as well as others selling all manner of art, jewelry, books, clothes, records, plants and more. On my most recent visit, I came away with a book of the script of a show I really love and a fun T-shirt. Fleur de Flea also sells cocktails and other drinks if you'd like to sip while you shop, and it's very pet friendly. You're likely to see a pup shopping alongside its owner, and Fleur de Flea's resident doggo can be found sitting on the counter by the cash registers. This is a spot that is becoming uniquely Louisville for me. I love it so!

Overall a pretty cool shop that was fun to browse and brought a blast from the past feeling for me personally. I'm excited to display it at my home. Value will vary from booth to booth, item to item. Some vendors promoted a discount. Very friendly service and a place for customer holds while you shop. I didn't catch the cat's name when I was there, but Vintage Shop Kitty is super friendly and seemed to be receptive to pets. I can tell when a vintage clothing store has done its due diligence when I flip through the racks and I want to buy more than a few things. I was THIS close to buying a Western pearl snap shirt, but really: how many pearl snap shirts does a girl need? Regretfully, I put the shirt back on the rack. Hopefully, some other savvy person snapped it up. The Odd Shop has a lot of clothing, but it has just as much vintage toys, records, ephemera and trinkets for sale.
