All of the furniture that I've purchased here has been for less than $20, and I'm talking about good hardwood furniture and even a 7ft silk sofa wrapped in the OG plastic protectant. For my fellow DIYers, you'll come across sewing machines often here, some built into tables with full kits for about $15 - $25. There is also a rack for scrap fabric, and abandoned knitting projects in the back. This location is in the prime spot, as it receives donations from all demographics. So whatever your style is, you're bound to find something you'll like here.

The pantry directly serves individuals on a daily basis by providing food that is donated by a variety of community partnerships. Individuals and families can receive food commodities by visiting the Help Center, Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am-12pm and 1-3:30pm. Individuals and families may be eligible for emergency food designed to provide meals for 3-5 days through a referral made by the Department of Social Services. To receive a referral from the Department of Social Services, individuals should contact the Homeless Outreach and Services Intake Center at 443-986-3548. The Cecil County Help Center also serves as a hub for other food pantries and faith-based organizations that have the mission of meeting the needs of those facing food insecurity. The Help Center receives food from a variety of partners including the Maryland Food Bank. This food is then distributed to local pantries in various parts of the County to ensure that citizens have convenient access when a need arises.

This location is much more open since it's like a warehouse with shared space for other nonprofits. The books are somewhat organized, but since they have lots of book donations, there are always bins and bins full of books that are constantly being sorted. My suggestion is to come when you have the time to sort through the book options and pick through what's useful. Some books are brand new, others with a little wear, and some are much older. It's a pretty mixed bag of books They're open about 4 days a week for specific timeframes. It's absolutely free to get a certain number of books, and kids can take as many as they can carry. You can also buy a membership, which is tax deductible, if you would like to take more than the allotted amount. They also have special events here and there for members. Overall, this is a great place to get books for classrooms, daycares, camps, etc.

The hours are Wed 3-5 pm, and Sat 9-11 am. Amazing!!!

Their donation hours are M-F noon-5pm. They take brand new or really clean, well-cared for used clothes, shoes, bags, etc. for kids and women. They have a shortage of such items because they are always running full. Your donations are going to strong-willed women who needed to flee in a moment's notice, often without anything of their own. We are so very fortunate in our lives that if my last year's Nordy blazer I wore twice helps one of these ladies land a new job and some independence, awesome. Sure, I could have sold the stuff on eBay but I'm HAPPIER bringing them here.

It was easy to navigate, and it worked perfectly. I received follow-up emails and text messages for the pickup, where the donated furniture was going, and reassurance that the family furniture was going to the right place. Because the furniture was too big for me to move outside, and as Restore can't come into the house, Restore assigned the pick-up to Bulk Brothers. Bulk Brothers acknowledged the assignment, and began their own follow-up text messages, keeping me informed of the vehicle license plate that would do the pickup, driver, and time for pick up. This whole interaction, and follow-on actions by Restore and Bulk Brothers was easy and professional done!

Little that I know that the company that picked up the objects was taking to the dump as they said Habitat for Humanity could not re-sell them. The items were not junk, and could certainly have been enjoyed by persons in financial straits who cannot afford the high prices of new furniture.

They are overpriced there and management is horrible so goto another location or the Loading Dock in Baltimore. I buy stuff there and management is helpful and not ignorant.... He should be fired and never work in customer service or management of any type.... I hope he reads this. I am sure all of the staff know who I am talking about and they share my comment.
