Kind of embarrassing a little to write a review for a pest control company. A few weeks ago after traveling to Europe I came home with weird bites on my legs and started to freak out thinking it has to be bed bugs. We stayed one night in a pretty nice hostel but I kept reading reviews of people complaining about there being some bed bug issues so right away I got it into my head that I could have them too. After coming home from abroad and doing research on here and calling a few companies I went with Green Eco because Doug on the phone really sounded the most knowledgeable of all the companies I had called. He sent Mike, John and the cute Emma the beagle to do a bed bug inspection in my apartment. They arrived and were so super helpful and nice to me. I probably chewed their ear off with 100 questions and they not once had any problems with me and were so understanding of my paranoia. They thoroughly went through my entire apartment with Emma sniffing and searching away while the guys would double check everything and even took apart a lot of my furniture for extra measure to check. After what seemed like they went through every nook and cranny of my place the only thing found was one spider mite, that was such a relief and for extra measure the guys put powder against bed bugs free with the inspection in my bedroom just to help ease my fears because nothing was found. I can't say enough about how great they were to me and completely calming and reassuring when my fears were out the roof. I haven't had any bites since and am happy I went with them. Also what I really liked is they arrive discreetly and don't look like some pest killers but regular folk as they put it so neighbors don't start freaking out. read more

Mike was phenomenal! We had just found a new place and had started to move in when we noticed there were bed bugs in the apartment from the previous tenant. We called Green Eco the day we found the bed bugs, and they were able to send him the same day, in the evening (no one else we had contacted was able to come the same day). He arrived a bit late, but that was totally fine; it shows that he was thorough at the last place. Also, what a champ for staying at the apartment with us despite difficulties with the landlord (who said she would have someone come in tomorrow to spray, and then said she would spray it herself - which wouldn't have done anything! -she didn't know what bed bugs were ). We wanted the problem fixed by a specialist, and we wanted the problem gone for good. Mike knows bed bugs well, and he was extremely thorough as he worked. Fortunately we didn't have any furniture in the apartment yet, which made the whole process less of a headache. The treatment process he uses is environmentally friendly and non-toxic to humans; we were able to stay in the apartment as he worked - and the apartment smelled like rosemary and cedar because of the treatments (definitely not bad in my view). I had independently researched methods of bed bug control, and everything that he used checked out. Do you know how late he stayed, too, in order to finish the job? 2AM. I was so appreciative that he was able to stay and get past the difficulties with the landlord. I feel better having had the extermination done by a professional who is environmentally friendly than whoever else my landlord would have gotten. Can not recommend this company highly enough! Fantastic! Knights in shining armour! Just bought a new painting and two weeks later, I started getting bitten..The company my building insists on using takes 3 days just to come and 'look' and only uses very strong chemicals. After getting bitten badly and worrying that the infestation would only take hold even more, I called GreenEco 12 noon the next day (a Sunday). Dan is extremely reassuring, confident, knowledgeable and kind and came later the same day which I was very impressed with and grateful for. He inspected my apartment, took my bed apart down to the mattress and the tiniest folds of fabric, inspected carpets, books, paintings, dressers, drawers, furniture - anything that could remotely be infected or that could be worrying or giving me concern. He looked in places that there couldn't possibly be bedbugs just to allay my fears. He is extremely thorough and doesn't rush. The treatment is a diatomaceous earth and then a fumigation of the apartment with cedar oil which smells very strong initially, but nothing at all unpleasant - similar to sap in a forest. The smell lessens considerably after the two hour fumigation to barely noticeable. The treatment is non-toxic, environmental and animal-friendly. I kept my two cats secure in the bathroom for the two hour fumigation. Dan helped ensure that they were safe and comfortable. He even went back in to check on them after finishing the treatment. Definitely recommend them to anyone needing pest control. Efficient, professional and thorough. read more

DO NOT USE GREENECO! For some reason, I already wrote a negative eview and it was removed or placed somewhere else. Customers....beware!!! I contacted the agency for services almost one year ago, and they still have not refunded me after standing me up 3 times in less than one week for a follow up treatment. When you have bed bugs, it is extremely stressful to say the least. You need a company that is dependable and organzed. This was not the case. When I called the company to notifiy them that the first treatment didn't work, they first doubted that I was still being bit by bed bugs. They state they will return as many times as needed for the two months after the first treatment,but they kept forgetting to come when they scheduled my visit, or stated other customers were taking too long and they couldn't make it. After I told them I needed a refund in order to hire another agency because they stood me up for three times in less than one week...and I was still being bitten, they apologized and said they would issue me a refund, and free retreatment if I wanted. However, they never followed up on this offer either. I have spent more than eight months calling, emailing, filling a claim with the Better Business Bureau, etc...and all they do is continue to say they will refund me, and then never do so. read more

If you dont want to get cheated, USE THIS COMPANY! : ) I have to say I was very impressed by this company. They were courteous on the phone and their guy, Mike came over promptly the next day. Mike was extremely knowledgable, upfront, honest, and thorough. While other companies might try to cheat someone by saying there's bedbugs when there's not, or pretending the problem is bigger than it is, and just fumigate everything with harsh chemicals and then charge a huge price; Mike was the opposite. He thoroughly inspected the apartment for hours, explained what he was looking for, and showed me why I did NOT have bedbugs in my house. He was very rational, detailed, scientific in looking for the evidence, rather than taking advantage! In addition, if they did have to treat, they would've treated the problem directly, in an eco-friendly way, and in accordance with the scale of severity of the issue (rather than blanket treating everything but not getting to the real root of the problem, which many other companies might do). He explained to me preventative measures I could take and what to look out for. All around, he was a straight-up guy who impressed me with his honesty and good intent. I recently learned from a family member that they had beg bugs and had to do a major extermination! I had visited their home right around the time that they'd begun to suspect that they might have a problem, and subsequently had a few sleepless, itchy nights. So, I finally decided to call GreenEco Environmental and schedule an appointment for an inspection. I initially selected them because I liked the idea that they would use environmentally friendly pest control tactics if they found anything. So glad I chose this company! Doug came out the very next morning, did a very thorough inspection, walked me through every room and told me what he was looking for. He educated me about how to keep an eye out for bed bugs. The very good news is, I HAVE NO BED BUGS! He did, however, find a single, tiny wiggling moth larve in one of my couches. I paid the additional (optional) $50 to have them do a moth treatment (which left my apt with a wonderful cedar smell) and a prophylactic treatment for bed bugs. It was well worth the $$ I spent for piece of mind, and they likely save me a bunch of money by preventing clothing damage from moths. I highly recommend GreenEco. I was very happy with the work and the customer service. Mike came the day after Thanksgiving because I had a BAD waterbug problem. I am TERRIFIED of waterbugs. Mike showed up, sealed holes and laid down some traps. When the issue kept going, Mike came back and found the holes that had been hidden behind some furniture. Granted it took several days for him to return, but it was during the holidays and I guess very busy. It's been a few weeks now and I am so grateful the problem has abated considerably if not completely (I say abated and not eradicated only because I don't want to jinx it). But considering how bad it was in the beginning (close to six waterbugs A WEEK in the beginning), I am so very happy and grateful. I was ready to move out of this apartment! Additionally, Mike tried to be proactive to see if there was a source in the building he could exterminate to prevent future problems. The only reason we couldn't is because of building management, not him. In short, Mike was courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. I put my trust in him immediately, and I'm glad I did. Right before I was about to get a new mattress the mover lifted my old mattress and found a bed bug. I was horrified, and scared out of my mind. After searching for a natural remedy, because i can not tolerate pesticides, I immediately called GreeEco. It was Sunday and they sent Mike over and he did such an amazing job. He took my bed frame apart, searched every drawer, did a thorough search, in my bedroom, and then examined my sofa, and all furniture surrounding. He took his time. Had a very positive experience with Douglas from Green Eco. For the last few months my girlfriend and I have been battling random roaches coming into our apartment, most likely the messy neighbors I know my apartment borders. We signed up for the buildings exterminator who came by and sprayed some weird smelling stuff and left, unfortunately we saw a fresh roach only two later. We decided to do some research on pest companies that might use something more effective and possibly not smell as bad. After going with Green Eco we called and Douglas came the next day. He was very professional, answered all of my annoying questions and was very thorough in the work he did. Its been over a month now and we still have not seen a single roach. This company is really fantastic! For what seems like over a year I was battling clothing moths that I kept finding in various closets throughout my apartment. Finding holes in some of my favorite sweaters was really defeating. After doing some research online I decided to go with Green Eco because of their products and I really liked Douglas on the phone. He was very professional and answered all of my questions right away without sounding annoyed. When he came over he told me everything he would do and his findings of where moths might me. I also was really happy that the products didn't smell bad or chemical. It has been over 4 months and I haven't had any problem since they they came over ! i had a wonderful experience with Green Eco. Mike was amazing! He spent many hours inspecting every piece of furniture, including pictures frames. He must have spent just an hour on my couch. Mike is extremely knowledgeable, detailed, and very kind. This has been a traumatic time for me, and he was so understanding. He inspected my apt. and informed me that I didn't have bedbugs. I still wanted him to exterminate since i was bitten over the summer. A week later, I found a bug. I called Mike and he met me that same evening...it was a FRiDAY at 9:30 to inspect my bug!!! I cannot tell you how annoying the tiny little ants were in my apartment after the spring/summer rains we had. They just WOULD NOT go away. We had another exterminator come out twice, but they kept coming back. But when Green Eco Environmental came by for the one-time appointment, it has been so much better. I live in a garden unit and don't expect it to be 100% bug-free, but they practically made that the case for me. They returned my online info request quickly and came out for an appointment ASAP. My wife started complaining about ants being in our kitchen and bathroom areas a few weeks ago. We have a dog so she didn't want any harmful chemicals that our super would use. Called Green Eco and they were able to come over the following day for treatment. After checking out all the problem areas they did their thing treating. I saw them behind the stove and fridge areas which I liked and all around the bathroom. The spray they used actually smelled good, kind of like a x-mas tree scent. Very happy with their services. Had my apt treated for bedbugs and was charged a flat rate for my 2 bedroom. They used a natural cedar tree based product which left a not unpleaseant smell. The treatment took not more than 1 hour and 2 weeks later we are bug free. We had a scare 1 week after treatment and called the office. They were very helpful and gave us some useful advice (don't sleep on a mattrass directly on the floor after treatment). However, they also said that they would come out immediately to treat again should the problem recure. Turned out to be a non bedbug bite and we've had no further problems. read more

Best experience I've had with an exterminator on a while. I had an ant infestation in my kitchen and bathroom. Someone was able to come the very next day and spray. There was no smell at all. I have babies and a pet and the spray was non toxic and completely plant based. They said it would take 5-7 days for the ants to disappear, but we woke up the very next morning and saw absolutely none. It was as if they were never where. I will definitely be using them in the future and recommending to all my friends who use chemicals. There is absolutely no need. This worked even faster. read more
