She was very patient as our call was going in and out and it didn't seem to annoy her. Justin and Herbie (the guys who came to inspect our home with the canine) were very respectful during this time of covid. Came with gloves and a mask, and inspected our home thoroughly. Update: I received a text from Justin from the company to follow up. Unfortunately my management company already had a contract with another company so I couldn't use M&M, but I wish they had! Justin was very informative and willing to answer any questions I had. I don't know if I have ever been so compelled to write a review!! I woke up this morning in a panic because I had several areas of linear bug bites (18 to be precise) on my arms and shoulders.. which if you're here on this page, you've likely googled and seen that that is prime territory/appearance for bed bug bites! I reached out to Stan and he asked me several good questions to truly assess the situation PRIOR to scheduling a home search to see if it was even necessary in the first place! He thoroughly educated me on bed bugs and I learned that my situation doesn't really present like a bed bug infestation. He discussed other options for me to figure out the source of my bites (many of which are inexpensive) while also discussing my options for having M&M support me and help me with my issue. If I EVER am unfortunate enough to really have a problem I am definitely coming back to these guys! They are knowledgeable and trustworthy- not just trying to take your money! I got a bite a week or two ago in the night and then thought I saw bed bug droppings on my bed a few days ago. I reached out to M&M for a quote and they were extremely responsive and helpful setting up my appointment on the phone. They were able to schedule an appointment that night and Barry and his dog Roxy showed up to inspect. I showed Barry what I had thought were the droppings and he immediately let me know that they weren't. The bite was a mosquito bite and what I had thought were droppings was actually lint--I am very paranoid! They still did a full inspection and found no evidence of bed bugs! Barry was extremely helpful and gave us info on what to keep an eye out since we travel a lot + Roxy was so friendly (after the inspection). Barry & Roxie were great! Very good customer service. I had found what looked like a bed bug in my apartment and was extremely worried as the apartment building had bed bugs 2 weeks before. I called M&M for a same-day inspection. Barry (human inspector) and Roxie (dog) were extremely diligent and made me feel safe that my apartment was not infested. Really terrible experience and service- the glowing reviews are probably fake. After going back and forth 20 times to schedule an appointment and canceling on me with no follow up several times, they came and did sub par service (were supposed to seal chemicals in closet to kill moths- the sealing was inadequate and falling apart), despite charging 500 dollars. One guy literally spent 30 mins in my apartment, including going back to his car twice for that amount! This is the biggest scam- please go with a different company. read more

I was getting bites and I couldn't imagine where they were coming from. Being very germ and bug conscious, I asked a friend for the name of the company she had recently used to inspect for bedbugs. I called for an appointment - and the most gracious woman, Georgie Cascio and her faithful sidekick, Speckles came to do the job of sniffing out did we/or did we not have bedbugs. Love love them! We freaked out last last night thinking we had bedbugs and call M&M to help us. George and Champ came over and inspected every square inch of our home and fortunately found nothing. Champ is a mixed beetle and lab with the most adorable ears and George couldn't be more professional and friendly. At the end it turn out that we had an infestation of carpet beetles and we were reacting to the larvae. While bugs in general freaks us out, it's not nearly as devastating as bedbugs so we're happy. I had a mouse come into my apartment in the middle of the night and it totally freaked me out. I contacted M&M at like 2AM and got a response first thing in the morning. Kevin was super kind and informative and offered to come and assess my problem to provide me with an estimate. He found a really small opening after a VERY thorough inspection and recommended I try and get the building to address it to save me some money. The building came and sealed the opening and all was quiet for 3 days. Then boom! Saw another mouse, same time of night, and I called back for Kevin right away. He came back the very next day, looked over the buildings work and checked out the entire apartment all over again. He determined that the mouse was potentially trapped in the apartment and set up a few traps for me free of charge. I caught the mouse an hour later and have been mouse free since! read more

The best in the city. I was lucky that I did NOT have bed bugs however they took a look at the critter that I caught and talked me through what it was ("drugstore beetle"). I got word that my friend got bedbugs from a hotel we stayed in over the past weekend so naturally I went into a major panic and wanted to rip all my skin off. Instead of doing that I called M&M and they couldn't have been more helpful. I have lived in New York for almost 10 years, and have managed to dodge one of my biggest fears, which is bed bugs. Unfortunately this streak ended, and I was attacked by these nasty little creatures on business trip while I stayed at a luxury hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia. I did not even consider that I had bed bugs until I came home, because if you know about bed bugs, the bites can take days to show up. At first I just thought they were mosquito bites. When I finally suspected bed bugs, I did some research on the internet, and started freaking out. I called the hotel that I stayed at, and they told me that due to it being a Canadian holiday that weekend they would not be able to get someone in for an inspection for a few days. I could not wait that long for answers, so I started to look into getting a pest control company into my apartment for an inspection. This was when I stumbled upon M&M Bed Bug Inspectors, and I am so glad that I did. I gave M&M Bed Bug Inspectors a call and spoke with Loren who put me at ease, and explained the process to me. Loren said he would have someone to my place ASAP. Within 2 hours Barry showed up with his adorable 4 legged partner in crime, Roxy. Barry was so nice, and made me feel like everything was going to be ok. After Barry and Roxy inspected my apartment, they luckily found no bed bug activity in my place. He gave me some plastic discs to put under my bed that would trap any bed bugs if for some reason they showed up. Barry also gave me some advice on how to search for bed bugs in hotels since I travel a lot for work. He also encouraged me to reach out to M&M Bed Bug Inspectors if I had any questions, or needed any additional info. The next day I found a little beetle that was a little suspect, so I emailed a picture to Loren, and he assured me that it was just a drugstore beetle (whatever that is), and nothing to worry about. The hotel in Vancouver contacted me about a week later, and confirmed that they did in fact find bed bugs in the room that I stayed in. Even though nothing was found in my apartment, I reached out to M&M to see if I should still do a bed bug treatment to my apartment since the hotel ended up finding bed bugs in the room (and the hotel would obviously be paying for this treatment). Loren told me that unless I found any bed bugs in my apartment since Barry and Roxy did their inspection, that it was not necessary, but to keep a close eye on it, and reach out if anything changes. I feel like if M&M was just after their customer's money they would have encouraged a treatment, but they build their business on being honest and professional, so they did not do that. Their prices are 100% reasonable. If you have researched bed bugs on the internet, or have ever had them, you know that bed bugs do not carry any diseases, but they do bring a lot of emotional stress. Working with M&M Bed Bug Inspectors helped to keep this at a minimum. They put my mind at ease, and without them this experience would have been so much worse. I am so lucky that I was bit by bed bugs, but that I did not bring them home with me.I highly recommend working with M&M Bed Bug Inspectors. You will not regret it! read more

Tim is amazing. On a Sunday night I emailed him a pic of a bug. He not only got back to me in 30 minutes ON A SUNDAY NIGHT, but diagnosed the problem, emailed with me twice and then called me. He was calming and reassuring. He had previously come to do a check a couple of years ago and was professional and very nice. He also worked on a Bedbug problem a friend had and was not only knowledgeable and very effective but also dealt with the anxiety that comes with this in a very supportive way. USE M AND M. I rarely ever write reviews, but M&M (especially Taylor and Tim!) has provided me with such amazing care and consideration (and peace of mind!) that I feel it's so necessary to share my experience with others. I've been waking up with bites every couple of weeks and I consulted with a k9 inspection company who came and told me I have bed bugs (with no visual confirmation of the dog's hits). After feeling totally freaked out and informing my building, we had two additional k9 inspection that came up negative. So I decided to set some climb up traps on my bed to see if I could catch whatever it is that's biting me. After days of tiptoeing around my apartment I finally found a small bug but I didn't know who to ask about it. After calling a ton of places and wondering around the city, I finally spoke with someone at M&M who told me I could come to their office to have it identified right away. Yay! I went in right away and met with Taylor, who inspected the bug under their super magnifier and promptly told me I had caught a small spider. He wasn't able to ID the spider on the spot, but promised to get in touch later via email to let me know what type it was. And, as I was chatting with Taylor, Tim was walking out the door and noticed us chatting and came in to help some more. He confirmed that the bug was a spider and proceeded to talk to me at length about all of the potential sources of the bits and my many options. Wow, I cannot emphasize how helpful this conversation was for me! Tim said that another k9 inspection would likely not be very useful and that figuring out what was biting me was paramount. He offered to come and set all sorts of traps throughout my apartment, including some high tech professional types of bed bug traps. He felt sure that if something was still there biting me, they could ID it. But he warned that it would be a bit expensive to get the high tech traps and that maybe I should just continue to use the traps I already set up and let them know immediately if I found anything. And that is what I opted to do. Since that day, I have found a carpet beetle, a small roach nymph and a tissue paper beetle. And each time, I'd email Taylor and Tim and get a response back immediately ID'ing the bugs. Last night, I sent them pictures of a bug I found at 11pm and received an email from them both immediately ID'ing the bug as tissue paper beetle and saving me from an anxious night awake, worrying about being eaten by bed bugs. I'm telling you these guys are just amazing. I finally feel like there's someone I can rely on to be honest and to actually help me through this. I should also mention that Tim, against his own interest, told me that he did NOT recommend I treat for bed bugs without any evidence of them because it is not only expensive, but is potentially ineffective if the problem is something other than bed bugs, and he was very worried about me treating because I am currently pregnant and he said there's no great treatment that's proven safe during pregnancy and he thought I should not take that chance. Seriously amazing - I did not expect a company to act against their own self interest to be sure that I don't spend money needlessly and put myself in jeopardy. Wow wow wow. So, in short, these guys are terrific, and I will never use a different pest control company again. I've had an amazing experience with M&M Bedbug Inspectors (aka M&M Pest Control). I first contacted them a few years ago and since then have used their services a few times. I learned about them through searching online and getting to their M&M Pest Control Yelp page (This page - M&M Bedbug Inspectors is a new one) that had hundreds of 5 stars reviews. I was not disappointed. First time I reached out to M&M was when I helped my friends with their move to NYC and they wanted to check their place for bed bugs. The office representative were extremely nice and helpful. We scheduled an inspection and Herby and Dexter came right on time. The inspection didn't took long and we were all happy to hear their apartment was bed bugs free! The second time, I wasn't so lucky. It was a few months later and I was getting bites, but was convinced by my roommates not to freak out. They were not getting bites and we shrugged it off as mosquitos or spider bites. One Saturday Morning I woke up itching insanely with my eye the size of a tennis ball. I looked at my pillow to find out a tiny red spot moving on it. I immediately sent an email to Timothy from M&M whom I've been in touch about my friends place a few months earlier. Even though it was the weekend, I got an immediate response and we scheduled an inspection for the next day. On Sunday Herby and Dexter came and confirmed we had bed bugs and that it was only in the bedroom. From this point on Timothy was a life saver. Having bed bugs is a complete nightmare, but Timothy was always there - calming, patient and helpful in so many ways. If it wasn't for him, I'm not sure what I would have done. The problem with bed bugs is not just the physical nightmare. It's that it freaks you out and turn your life upside down. The process of getting rid of them and the constant worry you'll pass them to other people or places and having them again is overwhelming. Timothy was there every step of the way helping me get through this. Later on, when I moved to a new apartment, dreading it had bed bugs in it or that somehow in the move I got them again, Herby and Dexter came to the rescue. Luckily I was bed bug free! Since then, every time I have a bed bug scare, like this week, when I found a tiny tiny bug in my bed, Timothy was there for me. I send him a picture and get an immediate response and advice. Absolutely amazing. I am SO thankful to M&M. My apartment had bed bugs several months ago, but the exterminator (Dial-a-Bug) did a poor job so the bugs returned quickly. After I spotted the bugs, 3 different companies searched my apartment, and M&M was the ONLY one that did a proper inspection. They spotted the problem and immediately gave me advice about what to do next, as well as preventative tips for future reference. I wish they could've exterminated my apartment, but I was limited to whoever my building management was willing to pay for. While I've been going through this, M&M has made themselves SUPER available to all of my questions (Ami is the best), and has treated me with care and respect. Any time I see a weird speck, I can send them a picture and they let me know if it is a bedbug (for free!).
