Wow! I'm very impressed with this cleaners! I happened to come in when the owner was working and he was very professional and friendly. Did you know if you are out of work and need a suit cleaned for an interview they will do it free of charge? I came to have my comforter cleaned and was surprised to hear the charge is just $25! When I received it back it looked brand new!! I highly recommend this great cleaners for all wardrobe and bedding needs!!

The service is great, and the prices aren't bad. The quality of clean is great, we always get back clean clothes and they even manage to get out tough stains. LOST ITEMS AND NO RESPONSE/ RESOLUTION. This location lost an item over a month ago at this point and had no response after going in multiple times to try and resolve. Been given the run around by both people that work there saying you need to speak to the owner. Then the owner saying he doesn't know about it ( my wife didn't even realize he was the owner at the time by his attitude to the situation. Looking at other reviews this happens more often than it should and this place should be avoided at all costs. Gone completely downhill I wouldn't trust any 5 star reviews as they give 20% off with a 5 star review read more

THIEFS! worst dry cleaners. We've had plenty of nice quality, name brand shirts go "missing" and the owner won't even contact us to make the situation right. His own wife and employee both stated that our things were in the system but they could not be located in the store. Conveniently the owner himself took our clothes when we dropped them off and went to Mexico. (With his brand new wardrobe perhaps?!) The employee also stated that they "donate" clothes to charities in Mexico when clothes are left for over a month. I came on time for mine but I've NEVER heard of any dry cleaners ever doing this. Crooks!!!! And the owner is a coward for not calling us back!!! read more

So looks like someone replied to my review more than a year later saying they don't remember giving me a dress like this. It's been more than a year so I'm sure you wouldn't remember. And I would not lie about bringing something here and getting it worse than before. Its ok you don't have to take responsibility for it because I found someone better who has more than taken care of stains and any dry cleaning needs I have had. I just hope others have not gone through what I have here. And if anyone has had bad experiences or are thinking of coming here please just go to Dallas cleaners in Downey. Best customer service and they will take care of all your needs. Do not support this business. read more

This place is extremely unprofessional. I left a white, designer wool/alpaca sweater for Green Hanger to clean about a month and a half ago. The day I went to pick it up, I noticed it shrunk and immediately returned to their location to have them fix it. Elizabeth guaranteed that she would talk to the owner to have it fixed but after going weekly for about five weeks to inquire about the status of my sweater, Elizabeth would simply say it was out of her hands, and the owner would have to look at it. Safe to say- after numerous attempts in trying to reach the owner (I called and texted him several times without ANY RESPONSE EVER), I simply just picked up my shrunken sweater. They not only ruined my sweater, but wasted my time after the over 7 visits I went there demanding for some sort of explanation. Like another review said, they are cowards and extremely unprofessional. read more

What a joke of a business. Lost a sweater due to their incompetence of handing it to the wrong person. When I encountered the owner I thought this guy was an employee as he's acting powerless, giving me the run around. He even called his employee trying to get more information, acting like a fool, even offering me someone else's sweater to make up for my lost sweater. When I went back another day to try to retrieve my sweater, I complained to the lady that normally helps me and she was shocked to hear that he acted like he had never heard about this story, as she had told him and I believe her because she has no reason to lie. What a joke of a man. When I was informed he is the owner, I was shocked because a true business owner would act with urgency and ethic. This business and owner are a sham. Never bringing my clothes to them EVER again. read more

That loyalty clearly meant nothing. Recently, I had an item done (not naming what it was), and they did it wrong. When I went back to have their mistake fixed, instead of owning it, I was met with attitude like it was somehow my fault or like I should've just taken the loss. After nearly two decades of giving them my business, that's the treatment I got. On top of that, their prices have gone up significantly. I understand everything costs more nowadays, but when other cleaners in Downey are offering better service and better prices, there's no excuse. That interaction was the last straw. I wish I could give this business 10 stars! Have had excellent experiences with these new owners and their services. Not only did they do a great job with my previous dry cleaning order, but they also are handling an alteration for me. Alex was so nice to me and to my disabled son when I went in today to see about getting the alteration done. They have a cute little room to change in for the alterations. The turn around time for the alteration is great (just a few days), and Alex checked with me to make sure I was happy with what the alteration was going to be. The business is clean and Alex is very friendly. The unfortunate thing for these new owners is that they took over the business from owners who were not very professional and did not do a good job with their services (Cleaners Royale). This means that Green Hanger Cleaners didn't get the benefit of keeping a lot of the Cleaners Royale customers. I would hope that the old Dutch Clean and Cleaners Royale customers would come back and give Green Hanger Cleaners a try. They really want to make sure you're satisfied. If you have a problem with something regarding their service (i.e., "hangers"), just go back to them and ask them to make it right. They definitely will do that! And they won't be offended. They're in business to do a good job and keep their customers happy. Give them a try if you used to be a Dutch Clean or Cleaners Royal customer. From dry cleaning to alterations, special cleaning services (i.e., comforters, wedding dresses, etc.), I'm sure you'll be happy. Disappointed in the new owners. I've been using this dry cleaning facility for many years, through 4 different owners. The last owners were really awful. I was hoping the new owners would be better. While they did a great job on pressing my husband's dress shirts, they didn't do a good job at all with my husband's pants. The dry cleaning itself was fine, but the way they hung the pants made them wrinkled! They put thin cardboard pieces over regular wire hangers, and they just weren't strong enough for the pants. So the hangers bent and got out of shape and wrinkled the pants, leaving me to have to press them before my husband could wear them. I'm going to give them just one more chance and see how they do. If this next time is better, I will update my review. read more

I took my business casual shirts and dress pants in for dry cleaning and pressing. Awesome job on everything. But check out this white dress shirt. The collar on this was rust brown when I brought it in. I thought I was going to have to throw the shirt away because the collar was so bad, but Alex and the folks at Green Cleaners saved it.
