Once the work finally began and the trees/shrubs were already removed, Francisco stopped the project and told me I would now need to pay an additional $1,000 because the patio would require a step. He claimed this made it a "different project." As a homeowner, I relied on the contractor's expertise. I clearly explained what I wanted from the beginning, and Francisco had visited the site multiple times before agreeing to the price. If a step was required, that should have been identified during the estimating and planning process -- not after demolition had already started. When I pushed back, I was told he could simply "put the trees back and refund the money." While I did receive a refund, I was ultimately left with removed landscaping, dead trees sitting in my garden bed, and no patio project completed. The most frustrating part was that everything had already been discussed, measured, signed, and agreed upon beforehand. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and poorly planned.

We were initially given a window so we were delighted to be the first job of the day. There was a massive tree in our yard. So massive that neighbors finally became annoyed with the overhang of vines and weeds so it had to come down. The crew came prepared with all manner of tree cutting and disposal machinery and tools. The whole system involved several trucks that took up a good portion of the street. These guys were thorough and professional. Several cars had to be moved out of the way one of which was dead. No problem. They jumped it and moved it as well as another for a disabled neighbor and when the job was done they put the cars back in their original spaces. They cleaned constantly throughout the process. Living in a row home meant most of the trunk had to be carried out through the house. They handled that part just as well. Do read your contract, they spell out many specifics like how much of the trunk of our tree could be cut down because it had begun to grow into the fence. This should make clear your expectations. I was contacted shortly thereafter by Alex from Cisnes who said he could help me. He wanted to come by to see pond. He came the next day for a thorough look over and said he did not think the liner was the problem but he would need to do a more indepth check. We discussed cost and exactly what would be done. I agreed to cost and procedure. Alex and his crew (2 men) came the next day and began the investigation immediately checking water lines in and out of pond but did not find a leak. Next they checked the waterfall and there was the leak. The leak was repaired in short time and the area around pond was returned to how it was found. Alex is easy to work with as is his crew. I am very happy with the finished job and plan to hire Alex again in the near future for Landscaping work.

They're pleasant and quick, and do a great job. They trim closely around trees, the back porch and other areas too tight for the mowers. Prices are very reasonable.
