Overall awful experience for my residential do it yourself project…read more After calling on a Tuesday to order 25 yards of dirt to use for my project at home, it was successfully set up. The delivery was schedualed for that Friday due to me not needing it till Saturday. I was guaranteed delivery being that I had it schedualed a few days away. Great , I thought. I called them on Friday afternoon to see were we where with my delivery due to me waiting at home for it all morning and needing to step out. When I called they said due to the weather they couldn't screen the material I needed but they guarantee I will receive it Saturday before miday. I asked if they where positive because I have equipment deposits on the line for the equipment needed to move the material ordered. They once again said yes we will be there no later then noon. I called that Saturday morning to once again see where was my material before I went and picked up my equipment that I had a deposit on to use for the weekend. Once again when I called I was told that they didn't have a chance to produce the material because of the weather. When I originally called on Tuesday for this order I was assured that they had more then enough material and that weather would not hold up my delivery.. anyway, so now not only did I not receive my material that Friday or Saturday as promised, but I also lost my deposit of 300$ I put for on for the equipment I needed for the weekend: I did finally receive my material on Monday afternoon. To add insult to injury the Thursday after I received my material I looked at my bank statement on line and realized that I was charged twice for that material once on the day I was suppose to receive it and again on the day I did receive it!! Wtf!!!! So I called up on Friday to get it rectified and nobody could that day, sir you will have to wait till Friday for us to take a better look at it, in other words it's Friday we don't feel like doing our job so wait till we feel like working again next week. Monday came , I once again had to call them , they finally called back and said the refund will be issued in3-5 business days. Mind you people 25 yards was about 768$. Residential job for my own personal home, not a company or residential. What if I did t have the extra money put away for issues like this . That's a lot of money to be waiting on. A lot of money to lose on a deposit!! All and all awful experience with these people. Oh, think I forgot to mention: I'm pretty sure I was short changed on my 25 yards, was more like 20-21. I had my measurements right and knew exactly what I needed and wasn't enough!! Thanks Britton for the awful experience!!!!

I just had an awful experience with Britton industries. I had called on a Thursday to check on the…read morecost of 3/4 river rock. My question when Cynthia answered the phone was literally, "can you give me the cost of your 3/4" river rock?". She replied "for residential or contractor purposes" and once she gave me the contractor cost of $25.50 per ton I planned on making a visit Saturday to pick up. Not only did she send me to Morrisville, PA which only had mulch and no aggregates but she quoted me completely wrong. When I arrived in Lawrenceville, NJ (I was sent here from Morrisville) the invoice showed the cost to be $49.95 per ton, double what I was quoted! The manager worked out somewhat of a discount that I still wasn't happy with because trust me, if I had quoted my customer a price they would insist I stuck to it and rightfully so because it would have been my bad. As if Saturday wasn't bad enough and wasted much of my time, I gave them another opportunity today to make things right and called to get a quote on 1-3" river rock. I was told by Cynthia who I had the pleasure of speaking with again, that the cost was $59.95/ton. I asked if there was anything further that she could do for the trouble she caused Saturday.... Moments later she got back on the phone and told me it's actually $72.95 now. I asked to speak to the manager who proceed to tell me she had already discounted me Saturday and couldn't do anything further. However, I still wound up paying $10 more per ton AND she would not take responsibility for the fact that her co-worker Cynthia had completely quoted me wrong. Then when I asked how do the price go up in 2 minutes she stated that the price when up a few days ago due to the shortage of 1-3". Well then please update your staff so they stop misquoting!!! I would have been super pissed off if I went all the way there again and the price was more once again. Good riddance Britton Industries. I bought from right down the street today this time and at a better price. Buyers beware of false pricing! I'm very unhappy with the customer service and overall experience with this company and hope you don't have the same experience I did.

I do not believe this is the type of quality that Marrazzo is normally delivers. I would also like to share that the delivery man almost broke my door down when he knocked very loudly three times. I've had surgery the day before and was making my way slowly to the door. I can't imagine what happens with elderly people. My suggestion is that you make your delivery man your last checkpoint for quality because he handed the wilted arrangement to me with a big smile on his face. He was very nice, but the flowers were disappointing.

Nice flowers and selection but the customer service is atrocious anymore. I've been a customer for…read moreover twenty years and for the first time ever, I had an inquiry about the receipt and flowers I got, I've gone literally everyday for like the past three weeks like they know me and my hubs and kiddos by now - but for some reason today when I inquired about charges and flowers, the customer service I received was awful. They tried explaining but did it so fast then also said i was wrong bc the cashier remembers, which i can accept had they actually pointed out and showed me what was what but my cart wasn't in front of me (it was in the car by that time) and I had asked if they could just quick walk over to the car with me which was parked extremely close as it was not busy, to help show me what was what bc I was confused and didn't really get an explanation other than i was wrong bc the cashier remembers and instead of doing that, they shut their doors (the register is a tiny shed outside) and that was that. I am the friendliest human ever and was so incredibly nice about this and asking. Then once i walked back to my car to see if a manager could help bc i literally just wanted someone to show me which plants were what price wise/pot size wise. I genuinely was asking nicely. The girl who answered said the manager wasn't there and i asked if she could tell me when the manager would be in because i had questions about charges. She hung up on me. So i walked into the actual building where i asked for the manager, the girl walked over to the manager and he looked at me, she returned saying he didn't want to speak to me. It was the weirdest experience ive ever had there and it was kind of enough to put me off for good. I can spend thousands every year on florals and landscaping and bird items, anywhere. I liked supporting their biz but that. Felt so lazy and lame and like shit customer service i just never want to go back or let me kids near those kids running the place again. They're so disrespectful and just not cut out for customer service or providing floral or math/register service to adults period. Shady Brook ... you got a new lifetime customer bc I'm done with FHG.
