Mike just saved me a ton of money and rescued me from five months of hell trying to get my digital Schlage lock to work. BTW, a major Santa Rosa locksmith gave me the runaround while I tried to get them to come out to the Russian River to get things working. The basic issue was that the contractor who installed the new lock used the old latch--you must use the latch Schlage gives you for digital locks. Both the key fobs for my truck quit working. I ordered 2 new ones off of Amazon and used their link to try to do the programming myslef. I then found out that I needed to take the fobs to the dealer, or a locksmith to get them programmed. I called Mike and set up an appointment for the next morning. He connected his diagnostics tool to the truck and had both fob's programmed in a matter of minutes. He programmed both fobs for less than half, of what the dealer wanted for one fob, a 75% savings. My key got stuck in the front door at 4:30pm on a Friday, with my family on the outside and no other way into the house. I was sure we were going to have to get one of those after-hours locksmiths that charge a mint because they know you are locked out and have no other choice! But my husband was able to find Mike Moody on Yelp, and he was there an hour later. He ended up replacing our front door lock for an extremely reasonable price, and went above and beyond to get us a good quality "out-of-print" lock that fit into our current hardware, even giving us the option to key it to all the existing keys we had. Our Baldwin front door locking mechanism broke and needed to be repaired. Mike responded quickly to our call and came promptly and diagnosed the problem with our lock. Even though we had to wait for the manufacturer to send a part Mike came back out to make sure that the door would lock while we waited for the part. He maintained communication with us throughout the process; returned as soon as possible when the parts arrived and completed the job at a very reasonable rate.
