I've been with Green light Auto for one year now. They've been great to work with. Their staff is always friendly and polite when I call in. I've had times where I've had to be up to a week late on my payment and not had my starter disabled. I've had minor issues with my vehicle and was told to go ahead and take it to any mechanic and they will cover it or I can trade in my car at the dealership I purchased from without starting the terms of my lease over. The WORST company ever-! Worst customer service reps and payment fluctuates all the time - their explanation is because there are late fees from the PREVIOUS months- wow! I call in to make payments and why isn't this being brought to my attention when I call in. Your customer reps need more training with being empathic and sympathetic! I can never express my frustration because The reps are so rude and would never give me the chance to speak. Shitty customer support I have great payment history, called in as I had a payment issue with my company and needed to change the payment date as I was unaware that my money did not come through on 09/04/20, and I got a txt on Saturday informing that. I called on 09/08/20 - the day of the hurricane, and after the holiday on Monday 09/07/20 and their systems were down and were unable to help me. I called on 09/09/20 - and requested a call back from case manager, that never happened. 09/11- They turned my car off although me calling and asking for assistance. I called them and asked for help and the courtesy that I was greeted was that I "should have been more responsible and found out a way to pay". This is not the first time I have this issue. They are trained to be abusive and disrespectful. I do not need to respond on the extent of how busy my life is and did not take this type of abuse. I got a supervisor on the line, that was "able to make a magic" and I was able to make a partial payment and car turned on. (but this option was not offered, nor any solutions). The point is, I am already paying a fee for late payment, do not need your opinion on how to handle my finances, and you have no information on the background of to make your judgment on why someone is having a rough time to make their payment. I guess they deal with a lot of debt not being paid, but that was not the case. They were already taking my money and I was not denying my compromise. I was the one calling in to resolve the issue, and they did not want to have any commitment in customer support and resolve the issue in both ends. In reality, there is no support. If you have bad credit and no solution, yes, you can buy a car, but be prepared that you are not working with quality service at all. Update from my last post! Here's another problem that I came across with this company. I somehow got double charged and no one was able to tell me how it happened. Not a single person had an idea so naturally I asked for those funds to be put back into my account. THE FUNDS WERE NEVER RETURNED! I decided to let it slide this time because it put me a month ahead on my payment. Keep in mind I decided to opt out of autopay because some times my funds would hit my account early so I would just make a payment on my car then. Somehow I was enrolled in Autopay again! Which on their website you can't even do that, you would have to call and speak to a representative in order to get on it or be removed! So I just got double charged AGAIN! This time I do not have the funds to deal with this. I will say this again this is a TERRIBLE company! I've been with this company for almost 2 years and never had any problems until today where I called for a follow up on my claims and happens to speak to someone who claimed his name is Doug and he had me on speaker phone. Asked nicely if there's a way he can remove me from speaker phone and I could barely hear him and he told me that my account manager deferred my payment which I knew and thank you so much Karen (I think that's her name) and let Doug know I'm following up on a claim and he hung up. This is the same voice I called the other day and he hung up on me also when I told him I could barely hear him cause he had me on speaker and he hung up also. I immediately called back to file a complain and it boggles my mind to find out that he's the CEO, really? Absolutely horrible customer service. Bought a car 7 months ago and it broke down two weeks after having it. Took it to their mechanic and still..after 7 months do not have the car back. They have not tried to help get it back, or differ payments.. they basically said sorry there is nothing we can do. At this point we are paying $400 a month for a car we have not physically had for months. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY. Have loved these guys for the 2 years of the lease until it was over. We wanted to finish buying the car off so it would be in our name. But now they say they can only do another 2 year lease for it. I've spent $4222.92 on a Saturn ion then we wanted to finish buying it for another $680 like it says in the contract. I wish I could post photos on here because I have a picture if a letter showing the payoff full amount to keep the vehicle but now they're saying that they will not sell it to us. Right off the bat I'm surprised by the two positive reviews I see here and question the authenticity. Green light has been nothing but a hassle. I didn't have bad credit coming to them it was genuinely their lease terms I was somewhat interested in and decided to get a vehicle with them. I have NEVER missed a payment or anything like that and I still have issues with them. My biggest issue is that they have failed to report ANY history to the credit bureaus from December of 2019 to today (June 18 2020). I have reached out to them several times and I get the same lazy response and they blame it on covid-19 and their "system changes". Like why you lie bro? Covid got bad in April get outta here. This company has the worst customer service skills and I'm shocked they are still in business. Their website needs some SERIOUS updates, it looks like an early 2000's website that had just been developed and lack necessary information (pshh you should probably put what hours you operate on Sunday if any). If possible would rate less than 1 star! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY!! If at all possible DO NO USE Green LIght. The terms the company makes you agree to are egregious. The company makes you pay to install a GPS/ ignition disabler. They reserve the right to disable the vehicle at any time for any reason they choose. The payments will fluctuate a minimal amount over time. When questioned about this the only answer given was " its how the formula for payments works". They will take any excuse to charge extra fees and will never give a concession on those fees, even when the fault is not the customers. Green Light not only makes you maintain full coverage insurance (this is the only normal part) but dictates high amounts and settings. My current vehicle is insured for 5 TIMES THE ACTUAL VALUE! In the case of an accident this money goes to the company first before they send you what they can't find a way to keep (judging by the previous experience with this company). The company does not take your call if you call them with a dispute nor will they return it. If you're late even one day they deactivate the vehicle but there is no set guidelines as to when or the steps taken, its completely random which can ( and in my case did) leave you stranded. The "total coverage" warranty they use as a selling point is basically a lie. Once you sign the paperwork they could care less about the vehicle. I was told by one rep that "the only things they are concerned with are serious mechanical issues. Everything else they consider normal use regardless if it is or not." The have a dedicated mechanic they want you to take the vehicle to, which is not unheard of, but will not reimburse any money if taken somewhere else. The so called free oil change has a caveat that limits the price they pay to $25. The demeanor of the staff is abrasive and demeaning, making it very obvious they only care about the money you are paying them. If there is any other route other than using this company I highly suggest it. I have had nothing but bad experiences with this company. I will be switching to a higher payment somewhere else because of the impressively bad treatment from this company. If the situation changes I will update my review read more

i was happy with green light at first until they change things on you for instance when i signed up a year and a half ago i was told i would get free oil changes in the whole two years i leased the vehicle and that i could go every month to get my oil changed for free..now they have only two free in a year which upsets me..i understand changing it for brand new leases but people already with the previous deal should get that honored...second thing life situations happen and its ridiculous that you cant make a payment arrangement with a agent or your starter could still get disabled...i understand limiting payment arrangements if someone is always make an arrangement and cant pay, but someone who is never late and needs a little time read more
