It's a cool little shop. One of if not the best smoke shop in the area (that I know of) that being said I walked in to buy a new butane torch. I got one fot $95 fast forward a couple days later and I see the same torch elsewhere for $69.99 Kinda hurt my feelings. I was a cult follower of an atmos product and when it was discontinued she legit went out of her way to help me find anything comparable (that she delivered on) but also communicated to Atmos to ensure some sort of warranty repair/ trade for my broken and discontinued product. An employee sold me the wrong accessory for a vape after I showed him exactly what I needed. I tried to exchange it for the correct product, having not used the one they sold me (it and its packaging was in perfect unused condition), and they refused. Be sure you test everything before you purchase or leave the store! I've spent literally hundreds of dollars at this store. Won't be back. I recommend any other store in the area. I used to love this place, when staff was helpful and friendly. The last few times I've gone in staff has been kinda clueless and all new. I usually try to be understanding and don't leave bad reviews but my experience yesterday was awful. I went in for a down stem replacement with my partner and the individual trying to "help" us figure out what size we needed was downright rude. They were already snippy and annoyed to be there but when I kinda clamored and couldn't articulate the exact measurements they said "that's not helpful, showing me the length with your fingers would be helpful" and just glared at us until I could estimate with my fingers. Honestly I wouldn't want anyone anywhere talking to anyone (let alone a customer) that way. Bad enough for me to never go back that's for sure. read more

A person named Ronnie came over to "help" and when we started to say what we thought we needed but wanted clarification, we got short responses with a very condensing tone. Since we both work in customer service, we were shocked that they literally slowed their speech to speak to us like we were stupid or something. All within a 30 second interaction. Even though this place appeared to have what we needed, we decided to go out of our way to go somewhere else because we are not going to buy things from people who treat others that way. DO NOT BUY GIFTS HERE! I bought a dreamcatcher as a gift at Green Light District in Tigard. I found out that it was a duplicate gift so two days later I came in with it, all tags attached, and my receipt. I was told that I could not return or exchange it. No exchanges or returns are allowed. They pointed to a sign posted next to the register which I did not notice when I made the purchase. I could see this being a valid policy for perishable items, but much of the store are gifts which are usually a guess. I strongly recommend you shop at a store with more customer-friendly policies. read more

I went to get a quartz nail and they had a great variety of prices and styles to choose from definitely good selection but it was marked 25 even the bag my nail came in said 25$ and when I go to pay the guy peeled the $25 dollar sticker off and I gave him $25 like the bag said when I seen him show it to me so I gave him $25 and he counted it and said it's $29. This is a really cool store with a lot of neat stuff, but it is waaaay overpriced. We saw several items that we bought online for less than 25% of what they're selling it for in the store. Again, it's a really neat store. My suggestion is, if you find anything you like look for it online or in another store and you'll find it way cheaper. I'm a fan of the store, and it's within walking distance of my house, which is a bonus, but they like to change their hours without updating Google, etc. This is not the first time I've trekked down here to find it closed. Today, it was only 10 minutes past their "new closing hours" but the guy inside saw me and immediately started vacuuming and shaking his head. Asked me to confirm this by texting y. The text warned me it would cost money. Nice scam you got going there. Wonder if anyone is dumb enough to do it. Gave 2 stars because the guy that helped me was pretty chill and made sure i got the right coil. Even if the confirmation didn't happen to cost anything who would gamble on that? Absolutely terrible! Take your business elsewhere. I mistakenly bought the bowl instead of the stem piece and tried to return it. The bald guy who helped me didnt say a word until he brought the stems out. He then told me it had been used, which it hadnt and that i couldnt return it. This has nothing to do with money and everything to do with principle. I hope that $12 sale that you were unwilling to exchange was worth it. Will never shop there again. The staff at this shop are the real MVP's! They're super friendly and knowledgeable about the products which has been a key factor in me coming back so regularly. They also occasionally have parties and will offer discounts during the parties which is nice and just lowered there prices on the product I order regularly. I was going to this place to begrudgingly purchase another whole pen because I doubted they would have a charger for my totally proprietary pen port. Not only did they have something that worked but it was the same name brand and everything!! I came in a few days ago for a specific replacement piece, a downstem and a bowlpiece. The person who helped me was informative and showed me all my options, and was patient while I took my time making up my mind. They had a good selection and even set up my piece for me so I didn't have to worry about switching out the small O ring or jamming in all the new parts. Also picked up a hilarious ash tray. So I NEVER leave a bad review, unless it's for good reason. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a smoke shop. My boyfriend & I came into here tonight looking at a dome for an oil rig. We asked if it could be taken out so we could see it & this red headed b*tch (excuse my language, but that's what she is) gave an attitude JUST because she was too lazy to go get the keys. As soon as she came back to open it up, she has the audacity to tell us 'just so you know, it's 175$' with a rude look on her face, as if we couldn't afford it. I tell her what does that have to do with anything? So we walk away. She goes to her co worker & rolls her eyes. I usually don't sweat the small stuff, but I have NEVER felt so disrespected. This is a very clean, nicely laid out head shop (am I allowed to call it that?). The staff is generally knowledgeable and friendly, and their selection is one of the best that i have seen, with pieces from the big names like Goldstein, Sheldon Black, et al to upstart local artists. The vaporizer selection could be a bit better, but i find that to be the case with most "alternative tobacco shops". All in all, the store gives off a paradoxically laid-back, but very professional vide. Honestly, my only complaint is that they seem to be about 10-20% more expensive than other head shops in the area, but they do offer a rewards program and a discount for OMMP patients. read more

After reading the reviews of GLD I gave them the benefit of doubt of the bad reviews. But folks it was all true. Woman who greeted me, had an insincere tone in her voice, and then snickered to her co-working in how I was dressed. That pissed me off. Then what appeared to be the owner who helped me after a while, well lets say I really was not interested in the price range for the glass he had for sale (275 to 750$). Granted he had some shitty pipes for 20$ but nothing in the range that I was looking for. So I said fuck it and booked to The Third Eye. Good prices, selection and employees. read more
