What has customer service come to? I practically had to throw my money at the girl working here to get her to sell me the specific item I had came for. Let me take you on a little journey. From moment I walked in she was just trying to get me to leave. without a purchase or even trying see what it was I needed. It was crazy. I've never felt so discriminated against, and I'm a straight white man, so I've seen some stuff. The employee refused to be of any help at all or answer even basic questions. I'll have to assume she had absolutely zero knowledge of anything in the store just based solely of the interaction we had, and when she finally got around to begrudgingly doing the barest minimum I've ever seen, purely because she could tell I wasn't just leaving like she wanted, she made sure to make it very clear how unhappy she was that I had interrupted her while she was working? So I took over her roll and helped myslef to Google and quickly as I could figured out exactly what I needed and finally managed to convince her to sell it to me. After ringing me up with a bizzare look on her face of contempt, disapproval and utter loathing, before I could even turn to the door she walked past me into the back room where sat a dude with headphones, his nose to a computer screen, and muttered something under her breath to him as he looked up at me to notice the space I was occupying, while somehow not acknowledging my presence, if Indeference was a job this was surely it's CEO. an impressive skill. Fairly certain now I had likely interrupted whatever online game their currently investing their lives, that or he was looking at P***. Regardless, I had clearly an overstepped a line by entering this establishment. Lesson learned, don't shop here. One might ask... Was the store experience worth this anxiety and unhelpfulness? I would say no . U I Besides leaving with my ego in shambles, bruised so saverely, surely no one would believe me when I told you told them it just tripped and fell down some stairs, and people would whisper to each other "why didn't he just leave"? But they'll never understand, what it's like to go somewhere to get a thing, and since your there, you just really kind of want to get that thing. still every part of you screaming "get out of there" but your powerless, because it's late and you already made the trip and you just really dont what to make another. Because like, come on now, who's got time for that. But how could I know, even after finally getting, the thing, I was still left feeling so empty, as if I was just told my dog had ran away forever. Well it's a couple weeks later now an the feelings still there, but it's getting better, it will just take time. And I joined a group... so I have support. It's actually Janice from group that said I should write this review, said it would be a big first step towards forgiveness. And not for you, I don't hold anything against you, you don't forgive a cat for killing a mouse, it's just what they do, it's who they are, it's their nature. No this is for forgiving myself. For not being strong enough to just leave the store immediately. She first few the red flags.she without the thing swsI needed. So I give you my review... 2 stars. 1 star for that poor excuse for customer service, lack of respect and basic humanity. After having now seen the stores selection and prices, even setting aside the aforementioned trauma, had I known ahead of time these areas were in serious need of improvement I'd have just gone somewhere else in the first place. So I recommended others do just that. Plenty of places within a matter of blocks. As for the second star, last minute I decided to give this extra star, partly because, well, I think I earned that star! let's be honest. I basically did all the work, by answering any questions I had to myself, being engaged and thoughtful, assuring myself it would be a solid buybud be happy with were into purchase, all with an employee staring at me with a look like I'm some kind of idiot for being here trying to buy something in this store, and doing her best to rush me out is f I was making her late for something, with hours still before they even close. I kept having to remind myself it's OK this is a store, your supposed to be here. I felt this suffocating vibe of indifferent, but, in the end, I was able to make the sale, and I'm glad I did because NOW, I finally have the thing I went for. And the thing is fine, it works exactly as expected. Exactly as I told myself it would. So I hope this review helps If only to save someone else from having the same experience. And if you already have just remember it gets better. If you or anyone you know is currently being affected by poor customer service, remember... I'd like to say this is a walk-in, walk-out kind of store but the staff is so damn friendly that you'll want to stay just to chat. I lost my vape a couple of days ago and came straight here with no idea what to look for (I'm a bit newer at this). Laurel jumped right in and showed me my options with a completely objective review. I'm usually awful at making decisions, but this chick has a way with words that led me to make the right (and cheaper!) choice. They have a sweet rewards program, so I received 30% off thanks to my SO's frequent visits. I got a brand new vape with mod, tank, two batteries, and two 30mL juice bottles for $85. That's a steal compared to what some of my past purchases have been. The store is clean, well-organized, VERY fairly priced, and their selection of juices is *expansive.* You will find a flavor that you like here, regardless of how picky you may be. At most small counter shops, I feel guilty for staying past the ten-minute average length of stay and feel pressured to make a quick decision. I must've sat there for 30 minutes minimum just smelling all of the different flavors, and I never felt rushed or like I was in anybody's way. Laurel offered to customize the nicotine level for the flavor I wanted. When I finally chose my liquids, Laurel was kind enough to completely set up my vape - twisted in the coil, popped the batteries in, and filled it with juice. That chick reps some serious customer service. Oh, and they even have a cat that occasionally pops in to absorb the sweet, sweet smells. I couldn't recommend this store and this location strongly enough. They made what would normally feel like a chore into an enjoyable experience. read more

These guys were the best of any of the vape shops. They are frequently out of my style of replacement pods. Now they have stopped honoring the point and star rewards. And on top of that the increase in taxes. Not the shop's fault but they could get creative and offer some deals once in awhile. My review is long overdue, as I've been shopping here since they first opened. I've visited the other two locations (Hillsboro and Aloha), but I consider the Tigard location my "home base" because of its proximity to my house and for the following reasons: -The employees are spectacular, hands down. I've rarely shopped in one place, for an extended amount of time, and had excellent customer service with MULTIPLE employees. Seriously. This is a rare phenomenon, no matter the industry! -Lately, when I walk in, I'm ecstatic when I get to see my favorites: Dom, Eli, and Tyler. There are a few ladies that are also absolutely fabulous, and I apologize for not recalling their names. I could write hundreds of lines here, describing all the positivity and joy that these three employees provide and do...I endlessly appreciate their direct experience with vaping products (juices, mods, coils, wicks, batteries, etc) and their transparent, professional communication. It's a huge deal when you shop somewhere, always leave with a smile, and drive away knowing someone there really gave a crap about helping you. -Any juice I need is ALWAYS in stock. There's been a few times where they ran out (we're talking over a several year period), but it's usually during a special or big sale. Coils, batteries, accessories - almost always there, every time I visit. Excellent inventory management here. -I've met one of the owners, his name is Jordan. He spent close to two hours with me one time (Aloha store) and helped answer endless questions, made sure I had everything I needed, didn't push sales on me, and didn't get defensive over my assertive personality. This speaks loud volumes. I recall another owner, but cannot remember his name. He was based at this store a lot, but haven't seen him for quite awhile. He is also amazing - super easy to talk to, super kind and professional. -They subscribe to the Five Stars rewards retail program and they offer an additional reward program on top of this! THIS IS NOT TOO COMMON WITH VAPE SHOPS, and it should be! Excellent work distinguishing your business from the rest! It give customers a sense of worth and loyalty, plus offers them discounts - super huge win here. I'm sure you're wondering how I can say such good things and if I'm some "insider" posting this; I assure you I am not. I'm 42, I have a graduate degree, and I'm a professional. I am keen on business and management, as that's my career. I've been vaping for over three years, started with the original Blu e-cigs that mimic cigarettes, and am loyal to Aspire mods/coils/tanks. I'm proud to say I'm a reformed smoker and Serenity Vapor Lounge never once pushed me to buy higher nicotine or buy ridiculously high wattage mods; this HAS happened to me at other places!! The first time I came here was in the early weeks of this whole Covid thing. My experience was really great and, in fact, the guy working helped me find my new favorite type of coil. We social distanced. I wore gloves. It was fine. I could have ordered more online but decided instead to go for a drive and support local business. Now I kinda wish I hadn't. I can only describe my experience today as one that evokes images of back alley drug deals. There are all kinds of signs saying that you have to stay in your car and call them but then they don't answer the phone. And when they finally did answer the phone it seemed like I was inconveniencing him by not knowing exactly what I wanted to buy. (I didn't bring the box - I figured they would be as helpful as they were the first time!) I recognize that this whole pandemic thing is a challenge and many businesses need to find ways to adapt. I, myself, have been adapting right along with them. This is the one and only store that has adapted in a way that made me wonder if I ever wanna go back there again. Keep working on it, guys.
