Harlow's Kitchen Concepts…read more 5***** Star Recommendation... We recently receive our new Speed Queen Washer and Dryer... we purchased these items because we did not want to buy a washer and dryer with lots of plastic that would break down in a few years... Consumer Reports had this to say: "Apparently, Speed Queen is still one of the few companies that builds washers and dryers in the USA for consumers and the majority of their products are for commercial laundromats..." Consumer Reports, August 2019, further suggested, " Speed Queen... tops our list with high reliability ratings for washers and dryers". Speed Queen consider their machines as commercial grade, with a potential service life of 25 years and our units came with a 10 year warranty at no extra charge... After looking at several makes and models of washers and dryers at the, "Big Box Stores", we went to Harlow's Kitchen Concepts Store for guidance and direction in making a selection. AL helped us by reviewing several makes and models and eventually we chose Speed Queen that are not sold in the, "Big Box Stores"! We chose the Speed Queen all stainless steel washer and dryer models; these units not only have stainless steel drums but the top, front and sides are marine grade stainless steel too... Dicky helped us with the deliver and meticulous installation procedure and was very instrumental in addressing each and every item that needed reviewing and input... In conclusion, both Al and Dicky, are not only Speed Queen Professionals that answered any and all discussion items, delivery and installation but they are genuinely friendly, unassuming and personable which is rare in comparing them with big box store personnel... We thus give Harlow's Kitchen Concepts Store, Al and Dicky a full FIVE ***** RATING Gil

This shop is great! They are only open M-F 9a-6p though... love that for them, hate it for me. I…read morehad to bring my tv in the middle of my work day but it was so worth it. In a time when all of our stuff is made cheaply and expected to break, shops like this are a beacon of critical thinking and taking care of business. San Bernardino is like LA, you can find anything if you look hard enough. This part of town is rough - but preserve through if you are the kind of person who hates the throwaway culture that has been thrust upon us. My tv had a problem where is suddenly had no picture, but the sound worked. Googling around, I found some repair flow charts and determined the issue to be either the power board or LEDs. Since power boards are so cheap online, I tried that first. That wasn't the issue so I knew part of the LED backlight was bad and I was not interested in the careful/gentle nature of that type of repair. I found this shop and they were very friendly and straight forward. It cost $25 for diagnostic, which of course goes towards repair if you choose to do it (just like a mechanic). They were able to fix my issue same day (probably because these tvs are crap and they keep common fix components in stock). It ended up being ~$150 total and it is better than new because they put longer lasting LEDs in there than it started with. Yay! The repair tech recommended I get a good power strip to plug into to protect the LEDs for fluctuations in power that could make them go bad in the future. Note, he didn't sell it to me, he recommended it as a best practice. Good dude.
