We had a Whirlpool French door fridge and freezer that went out for almost a month possibly during the worst time of the year, and decided that we were going to get it fixed instead of buying a new one. Nice Guy Appliance Repair responded within the hour of us contacting them and was able to set an appointment for same day for Frank to come check out our fridge. He was able to quickly diagnose that our compressor was at the end of its life, and gave us some honest feedback/options and fair pricing. Franklin came very clean with a pleasant personality. I had a noise in my dryer. I couldn't recreate the noise so he replaced the most common parts to cause noise for a fair price. Unfortunately the noise was still there the next day. Franklin came the following day and took apart the dryer again and found the problem. A cracked blower wheel. The crack must be hard to notice. He gives a 90 day labor warranty on dryers so i was not charged. He didn't even charge me for the blower wheel. This guy isn't going to try to rip you off or tell you parts that are fine need to be replaced. He will be my appliance guy from here on out. Our dishwasher stopped working with the H20 warning sign, I was able to youtube what was needed to be fixed but didn't want to do it for safety reasons. It was $60 for them to come out and look at our appliance, the tech wasn't able to figure out why it was causing the alert. When I explained what was happening based on my youtubing - I asked him to try what I had found out. He cleared the filter and cleaned out the sensor and it fixed the issue. Total cost was $120, which was a little steep of maybe a 30 minute fix that I told them how to do but I was just happy it was done and they were super kind. My husband was out of town and I'm pregnant so it was important to have the dishwasher fixed immediately. He gave some great tips to prevent it from happening again. read more

When I see a business that has overwhelming 5-star ratings, I have no choice but to give them my business. The reviews for Nice Guy Appliance are over the top. I contacted them for a dryer repair. (My Whirlpool Duet suddenly started making a harsh, grating sound.) They got back in touch with me within two days. I gave them my window of availability and they put me on the schedule by the afternoon, 3:30-6:30 on a Thursday. That day, Frank arrived at 4:00 and got to work. I told him what was wrong, he diagnosed it immediately, gave me an informed estimate, and went to work fixing the problem. (An informed estimate told me that I had a good machine that would last me a few more years, and that he had exactly the parts needed in his truck. His estimate was $279.) One hour later, after vacuuming the inside of the machine and replacing the necessary parts and giving me safe advice about washers and dryers, Frank switched on the dryer and it ran perfectly. i payed with Zelle, but they take checks and credit cards too. Lindsay quickly sent me yelp massages and txt messages to get more information regarding our refrigerator issues. I messaged them late in the evening regarding the issue of my washer. I received a response within minutes. A technician was scheduled to come the day after.
