STAY FAR AWAY IF YOU NEED REPAIRS. Not being a local, I was shocked at the condescending, dismissive way I was treated. They refused when I asked, to even describe what "repairs" they did to my bike. I tried calling them and was hung up on several times. I had to find out later FROM MY BANK when I stopped payment, the mistruths they claimed about my bike and the state it was in. They will fix things that don't need fixing, and dismiss your requests for legitimate repairs. ME: The front caliper is sticking. The left pad is pressed against the rim when I squeeze the brakes, it's literally visible. GOODY: There's nothing wrong with it. JENNIFER: The bike was "extremely" rusted. ME: The bike was always kept indoors and has ZERO rust having been constantly maintained. Afraid to use my bike, I took it to another shop outside of Philadelphia where the owner went through every test and detail with me as an honest repairman should. I've been to a LOT of bike shops in Lancaster and York counties for repairs, accessories, and many new bikes. I think I've purchased a bike from no less than 7 different bike shops over the years. Some no longer exist. Some were just OK. Green Mountain stands alone at the top of the food chain. Friendly staff, very honest and transparent. No bike shop snobs behind the counter, just great mechanics and friendly people who just want to get you out having fun on two wheels. Zach is the best mechanic in the county, bar none. He takes his work seriously. No shortcuts - when he works on your bike, it gets done right, and he communicates. He's cleaned up my messes more times than I can count. Every time I've 'cheated' on Green Mountain and taken my bike elsewhere to save a little driving time, I've regretted it. read more

The costumer service is very poor. I took a bike in to be fixed and they gave me a date when it would be done. I called on that date and they said they didn't even look at it yet. So I ask when it's going to get done and the guy (Goodie) on the phone said he's getting another call and hangs up on me. read more

I purchased a Cannondale Synapse Ultegra carbon bike on Black Friday and got a great deal. This bike shifts like a dream with outstanding disc brakes. I started riding right after the bike arrived (8 Dec 2019) and have over 1,100 miles on the bike so far. I'm 67 years old and have never enjoyed a bike more that my Cannondale. They are VERY friendly both Zacks Goody and Pierce are FANTASTIC. Very patient and understanding. They are all amazing experienced bikers but will help the novice with kindness. They will take their time and listen to you. Both stores are really great. I bought a GT hard tail after being away from the MTB life for 20 + years. The bike was fitted for me and I went with what they recommended. They didn't try to sell me the most expensive bike but they helped me pick out what I needed. I can't say enough about these guys. I've bought two bikes off of them now (Hybrid MTN, and Road Bike), and just got my wife's bike there as well. They take care of their customers and will help you with anything you need. Got my bike fit by Zach over at the Rohrestown location and it really helped me out with getting rid of pain and making my riders much more enjoyable! The other day while riding around the Ephrata area I got a flat. I fixed it, and tire started to go down again while heading in the direction of their Ephrata shop. I stopped in their and they got me up and running again, despite the fact I didn't have cash in hand at the moment. They worked it out with me (keep in my mind I've shopped their before on multiple occasions and they know me) and I was able to stop by the next day and even up with them. Not too many businesses would do that these days! Their prices are reasonable and you can go low or high depending on what you want to do.
