Very knowledgeable staff. Staff genuinely enjoyed talking to the customers and telling them about the products that they offer. I ended up having a good conversation about the cannabis industry and the city of Portland in general. They have a good variety of products which is good. I also love the hip hop theme. Good prices, friendly folks. If anything, maybe a little too "salesy" and talkative, but not really an issue. The hip hop concept seems a little gimmicky and maybe unnecessary. Why not just have an awesome dispensary that just happens to be known for playing vinyl? But everything seems sincere enough to be endearing and I'm sure the concept will vibe better over time. Uplift Botanicals is still my favorite dispensary in the area because it's chill and easy and they have awesome discounts. This place is new and first impressions are really good. They had a couple strains I haven't been able to find anywhere else in the NE, so I'll be back many times I'm sure. And overall they have an awesome selection and ample variety. Prices are reasonable. Definitely check these guys out, especially if you live in the area, they're much, much better than the Alberta Greenhouse and they seem like good people who genuinely care about their product and business. read more

I love Green Hop, and how friendly and helpful the staff is. They're happy to go into detail on individual strains, and I feel really appreciated as a customer. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Portland. Give Scarface a try if you're into flower. It's my current favorite. Also, great music is a bonus, and every now and then they throw a cool street party.
