Saw this place on yelp and all the glowing reviews and thought I'd give them a try after having a bad experience with customer service that same day somewhere else. Read on this vendor's site (Oasis) that walk-in's are welcomed, only to get there (early afternoon) to be told, we need to call and make an appointment because other people are coming. I am so disappointed to see how it seems like no one knows how to stand behind their word or advertising. Ridiculous!!!! read more

My second try here. I received an ombre dip manicure and a jelly spa pedicure. It was a good experience. This was my first time getting a jelly spa pedicure. It felt great and the ten minute massage was included. The massage was decent. The sugar scrub on my feet and legs also felt great. The ombre dip manicure came out different than what I was used to. However, I love that my manicurist took her time and made sure each application was applied properly. No UV light was used. That was a bonus. She applied the white dip powder first and then the pink. It came out a bit brighter than what I've experienced at other nail salons. The other assistants marveled over the outcome of my nails. All in all, my manicurist did a good job. I'm getting used to the finished product. The establishment is clean and the staff is friendly. I received a shoulder massages as my nails dried and I was given a rewards card, too. I have been coming to Julie's Nail Salon for almost four years now. Came on the recommendation of a friend's step-mom. Julie and her staff have been so great to me over the years. I used to be a chronic nail biter (still am when I get stressed out) and Julie is always able to fix any issues/ breaks and put a smile on my face. They have a wonderful rewards card program where you earn points for every dollar spent and after you accumulate 10$ worth (or more) of points you can apply it as part of your payment. Really helps to make you feel special and cared about. I usually get a gel treatment on my nails before then getting a gel manicure and Julie pays very good attention to detail to ensure your nails look amazing. I've also had just about every pedicure package they offer and I've always been VERY happy with the results. This is a clean, friendly, and reasonably priced nail salon. I can't say enough nice things. You walk in feeling like a hot mess and walk out feeling like a million bucks! Thank you Julie for always being so accommodating and helpful! I dont understand why this place got such rave reviews????? I feel like Yelp really let me down on this one. I've been looking for a good pedicure place for YEARS (like how come this is so hard????). This place had excellent reviews so I though I'll give it a try. They have a regular pedicure for 23 bucks, and spa type for 40+. I always try the regular at a new place first before I upgrade to the spa version. I walked in and was promptly served and the people were friendly (read for the 2 stars instead if 1). I told the women my feet was ultra dry and really scrub the heels. I told her if she needs to upgrade me to the callus treatment, do it (it is just 10 bucks more). Well, she didn't listen...when I sat down to dry my heels were as dry as ever...I could cut paper with them!!! I'm so upset. Another thing that REALLY bothered me is the products they used aren't legit!!!! They are probably made in someone's garage or something. I'm a chemist who specialized in bath and body products, and no legitimate company would have a label like the one in my picture!!!!! So many things wrong with the label, to name a few: Things are spelled wrong, and ingredients are missing!!! Shame on them!!! Some people have sensitive skin and they could have have a reaction. I see they give facials, I would highly recommend you not do this since who know where these products are from or made up of. read more

I really like the comfortable, never rushed atmosphere at Green Oasis. I'm not a regular, it I come here at least twice a year. I'm a last minute caller and they always manage to squeeze me in. I've gone here probably ten times, as I very infrequently have money to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure. I've never had a bad experience at this salon and my experience was very much elevated on this day. I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure. My pedicure was perfect, as it always has been at this salon, but at the end (when they put on your flip flops or foam salon sandals to let your toes dry before they apply polish) the aesthetician put *toe-less socks* on my feet before separating my toes. She said it was cold outside and let me keep the cute socks after I left. The entire salon had such a neighborhood feel- the regulars came in and happily hugged all of the aestheticians, asking them about their families and how their holidays went. I too, received the same warmth from the wonderful woman who worked on my toes and fingers, in addition to the owner of the salon. Service like this is long lost in our community. I feel so lucky to have Green Oasis in my neighborhood. read more

Went here after work after reading reviews on local nail places. Pretty good for a $10 manicure I must say. Can't beat that price. The manicure was much quicker than I prefer and not much time was spent cutting my cuticles which I usually need. The place was so busy though so I felt like I was in good hands. I came in for a pedicure and gel manicure and I left very disappointed in my overall experience here. First, the man doing my pedicure was distracted and had his eyes glued to the tv almost the entire time. But then, I sat down for one of the worst gel manicures I have ever received. By the time I got home, the polish had bubbled up on my nails., almost as though they weren't dried fully. Now, two days out from the manicure, the polish is peeling and chipping on multiple nails - which has never before happened to me so quickly with a gel manicure. He had another girl work on my nails while he was up- she was better and faster than him- and then he criticized her work and re- did it (there was nothing even wrong with it). Small salon with a friendly staff but the pedicures were not done with careful attention to detail. My heels were never scrubbed down and a top coat was never applied to the color. Went here for a eyebrow wax. I have been here on and off throughout the past few years for various services such as pedis and manis but this was my first waxing. I literally I have the easiest eyebrows to do and just needed a simple clean up. I walked out and didn't realize until I got to my car that my left eyebrow has a chunk missing. A chunk! How is that even possible?! They also did not get any of the hairs out of the middle between the brows. My eyebrows are now pencil thin and never have been, there is still hair in the middle, and she took about 15 min to do this. I will be going Back later to complain and hopefully get the middle fixed. As for the chunk I am hoping it will grow back. read more
