My hands were annihilated by me picking the previous gel polish I had from 4 weeks ago off and my heels could scrub a good greased pan clean - so yeah , emergency. Can I tell you how first of all nice the owners are. They asked me questions about where I was from and how the summer was going. Very pleasant. Second, their sanitation practices are on point. I've been an avid nail salon customer since I was about 16 so 21 years that makes it and I know a good and quality salon when I see it. My nails were filed down so much it started to burn and my cuticles started to bleed. The end result was bubbled thick gel mani. Pedicure was also painful. My nails are destroyed after removing the very thick gel polish. Took several tries to remove the gel polish using a combination of methods such as filing, soaking, and scrapping. I will not be coming back.

I like getting manicure is done as well as eyebrow waxing and I like to get them every three weeks. The only thing is that I just don't like getting nail polish put on my nails I just like getting the other parts of the manicure. And they just cannot schedule you. Like they don't do every three weeks if you want you have to call only a couple days ahead and then it fills up because most people come at the same time. So while they do a good service, it's just gotten so frustrating that they aren't able to have more availability and that they don't let you schedule a longer time in advance.

One with a list of 80's-90's music as it played music and the had "The People's Court" tv show on. Once it was my turn, I went over to the area where I would be getting my feet done. Anna Banana told me her name while she did my feet. She was nice and pleasant. In the midst of her doing my feet, I asked if I could get one my nails redone from a previous location. My nail broken and I needed an extension. She informed another technician, who gladly obliged to help and she fixed my nail. She also informed me it would have been done for free if I had gotten my nails done at their establishment. I did take a mental note of that. My nail was done professionally and blended in with the rest of my nails. Anna did a good job on my feet. The foot scrub and the massage felt good. My regular pedicure came out flawless. It felt like I was getting a spa pedicure. Overall, it was money well spent and the staff was nice, accommodating and friendly. During checkout, I received a rewards card and the cashier market the it off for my first visit. On the 11th visit, I'll get 20% off. I like this! Overall, it was a pretty good experience that will ensure my return to Diva's Nail Spa.

When I asked for a thick (and short) toenail to be filed down, someone else instructed her how to do it. Every time I have had this done, they thin it in a rounded way so nail polish can go on normally. I do it myself at home and it's not a big deal. Instead, she only thinned it in one flat back and forth motion over top so it is oddly shaped and turned out looking like this (I eventually asked her to stop since she was getting so close to the skin). I appreciate how hard and long she worked, but I much prefer the result I do myself at home for $40 + $10 tip. I guess like with anywhere, it depends on who you get assigned.

Even in the heat and humidity of the summer there was so air on. I did inquire if it was working a few times and was told every time that it was most definitely working. So aside from the humidity, and flies the pricing has increased tremendously. My last visit was $131.00 for a gel mani and gel pedi. The color selection is limited- they have none of the new colors, nor can they do the new nail trends due to lack of materials (ie glazed donut nails, etc). This year they have had many clients start with lash extensions- however those doing it do not have esthetician licenses. The pedicures are rushed and terrible. The girls doing them talk more to each other than even acknowledge the customer! There is always a "party" going on in the break room. Cooking smelly foods, and loud laughing and discussing customers and their personal lives in Spanish. No one there subscribes to the belief that this is a service, and customers come to relax. A visit there is far from relaxing. If you are there close to the end of the day you get to be part of the max rush of the pedicure girls cleaning the whole place. So lost of cleaner being sprayed and vacuums, totally what I think of when I want to relax Sadly, this place used to be really good but has lost focus on providing a positive customer experience and keeping up with trends within their industry.
