Not a great experience, I got a gel manicure and it looks so sloppy. Many of my nails were not fully polished, with an obvious strip of nail not painted along the side of the cuticle. Three of my nails have air bubbles (evidenced by the photo). The woman ended up cutting my cuticle, and it bled slightly while she was doing my manicure. And after two days, one of my nails had the polish come completely came off. Not chipped, just peeled right off. I didn't even notice when/how it happened, just looked down to a bare nail. Considering they upchaged me $7 for "extra hardening" base coat, on top of the gel nail cost, I'm pretty disappointed. Won't be going back. read more

I was able to make an appointment easily on the phone for day of, which was a bit of a shock. But I understand why. This salon definitely leans far into their regulars, which is fine - but I felt like an outsider walking in. For my first time at this salon I was expecting to pay between $65-85 for gel with extensions, one color (shimmery), but ended up paying $100 before tip. The staff member ringing me up must've seen the shock on my face because she immediately offered me a small bottle of lotion and said it was for the holidays (12/27/28) Sure. Though the place seems clean, the color selection was not great. I felt like I couldn't find exactly what I wanted (pink shimmer, not really uncommon). Then sitting down to get the nails done was alright, except I was facing a TV with the news on. Not really relaxing to hear about the most recent crimes and events going on. Several times the staff made a point to mention that I should come in every 2-3 weeks to get them filled, doing everything but suggesting to make another appointment. As a first time customer here, I didn't appreciate this. If I came back here that frequently I'd be spending around $200 a month, maybe that's fine for the high class ladies in Morris county, but not everyone is rolling in dough. I'll gladly be looking for an independent nail tech that charges appropriately. They did a good job, but only go if you're willing to spend a lot. read more

Only give it 1 star because I was able to just walk in. The man who filed my color down for the acrylic fill was rough and had a bad demeanor like he was being punished to work. The girl finishing was v nice but she had no idea what she was doing. My nails have never looked so bad w the thick gel put over my acrylic nail. Let me start by saying that if you want to be cheated and charged for a service you didn't ask for, by all means visit this terrible spot. Yesterday I called for a regular pedicure and asked how much they'd charge for a nail polish change to which I was told it would be $13, it wasn't clarified whether the $13 is for a regular polish change or gel polish change. Turned up today and AGAIN asked for a polish change ONLY to which the lady at the counter said i will see if we can do that to which I responded its fine if it cant be done. Anyway, they ended up completely removing my UV gel manicure and giving me a whole ass gel manicure that I didn't ask for!! Then the owner has the audacity to ask me if it was my first manicure - lady, i wouldn't have a UV gel mani in place if it was my first time but thats besides the point. And then proceeded to charge me $68 for their services. I was robbed of my money for something I didn't ask for and nor was I specifically told I would need a full manicure. Honestly, dear owner, if you don't understand what is being requested, just ask. I wouldn't have had a problem repeating myself even 10 times so that you would understand what I wanted done, but no, its all about cheating customers and not taking responsibility for your mistakes. I also find it VERY hard to believe you havent lost clients. Shame on you, your business and your terrible manicure service. Needless to say, wont be frequenting this horrible place! I called ahead to ask if the salon does powder dip gel manicures and was told yes. When I arrived I noticed there were not a lot of color options which sent a red flag to me right away. The manicure I got was sloppy and unacceptable and I will have to go somewhere else to have it redone. Because I have learned how to do powder dip gel manicures myself during Covid, I knew the technique this salon was doing is all wrong. I hate complaining, especially since the ladies there were very nice. But clearly, they do not know how to do powder dip manicures. I'm so annoyed because it cost me a lot of money and I just have to go and get it re-done somewhere else. The pedicure, however, was wonderful. Wendy did my pedicure and I was so relaxed and very pleased. I am sure if you go to the salon for soak off gel, you will be very happy. I'm new to the area and was on the hunt for a nail salon that could do dip powder. I called the salon and the owner answered. She answered all of my questions and made my appt for later that evening. I walked in, got my temp taken, and got walked right over to a chair. The nail tech removed my dip powder with tips, correctly! I've been to places that use a drill to get the dip off and hate that. This tech took the time to remove them correctly, saving my natural nails. Thank you! My pedicure was next level. Best pedicure I've ever had, and I've had many pedis. So relaxing and the woman doing my pedicure took her time and I appreciated her attention to detail. Once done, I was brought back to the nail tech so she could work on my nails. I've been coming here for years and they were decent even though they had their share of screw ups they are close so i always go back but after today NEVER AGAIN!!! I did gel tips and they are not all the same shape and length but they look fine from far away.And they look horrible and messy from the orther side/inside.The pedicure is a whole different story.I've never in my life gotten a worse pedicure!Shame!She made them uneven and didn't even cut them of file them!Employees are nice but they do the work like they forgot their glasess at home! came here after being recommended to me by my friend. i sent them a nail design i wanted and they said they could do it. they were pretty quick to remove my old nails and do the nail design (all done within an hour and a half - probably could've been done quicker but my old nails were done by a different nail salon so it was a bit tough to remove). it was definitely their first time adding sparkles to french nails and the snowflake, but i have to say it was done very well. the customer service was SO nice and very attentive. definitely recommend ~ read more

Love Chloe Nails! As a guy I was apprehensive and insecure about getting a pedicure at first but I love it thanks to the staff at Chloe. I had very poor toe nails and was getting frequent painful ingrown nails cutting them improperly and without the right tools doing it myself. My toes are now perfect after coming here a few years now and my feet look and feel so much better. My favorite is the massage and all the staff are very careful and gentle, especially with the filling and buffing which still feels strange to me (ladies I have no idea how you are able to do this regularly for many years). I also bring my elderly father in to help keep his feet and hands in tip top shape. He has been getting pedicures longer than I have now. The staff is always so kind and gentle with him I have no reservations about them treating him right. They are always happy to see him and very patient with his decreased mobility. It is a real treat for him, when you're old and cant do so many things for yourself anymore getting proper hygiene taken care of goes a long way in restoring some self esteem and dignity. We aren't the usual demographic for a nail salon being two men but they treat us like family and make us feel really welcomed. Especially Kelly the owner who always greets us and sees us off warmly and is accommodating with appointments. We usually call ahead and she is flexible with time booking for two. A+++!! read more

Chloe nails has a new Employee - her name is Sonny. I don't even know where to begin about her! I have been going to this salon for a few months - and I never quite got what I asked for. Today- I was directed towards sonny (who I've never seen before). Instantly, she was SO friendly and so welcoming. I explained to her what I wanted (like I have done time and time again and hadn't gotten it). During my time there she went above and beyond to try and get to know me, while respecting my relaxation time! Fast forward to the end.. my nails were PERFECT. I was looking forward to getting a manicure at this place that had such great reviews! The store closes at 7 PM and I arrived at 6:05 for a manicure. I just wanted a regular manicure. I've come here a few times for dip manicures and regular pedicures. I have to say, each time I leave my nails look really nice. My only issues with the place are around their sanitation. The pedicure and manicure tools are used on multiple patrons, wiped off with towels and put back to be used again. The files, buffers and pumice stones are used on more than one person for sure. I unfortunately saw cuticle clippers used on a customer, get dropped on the floor, wiped with a towel and then put just back to be used. Best pedicure I've EVER GOTTEN!!!!! :) :) The lady took her time massaging my legs up to my knees, my toes and my feet. She then used a hot stone to massage my legs for a few minutes and applied hot wax to my heels as she applied the polish, for no extra charge!
