We live in Cincinnati, Ohio but have a vacation home in Colorado Springs. We needed a plumber so install a kitchen faucet and new water heater and our real estate agent recommended Green Plumbing. It was easily the best advice he gave us. We called on Friday and Jason was at the house on Monday morning. He was very courteous and knowledgeable and he installed the faucet in less than 15 minutes. We will have them install the new water heater when we come back out for Thanksgiving. I had a valve burst and called Jason at Green Plumbing. He was able to replace the valve the same day, and was very reasonably priced, along with polite and professional. I later had another leak in the main water valve. I called back and he told me what to check in order to fix the leak myself, instead of him coming out. It worked. Saved both of us time and me money. So this is what happens when you leave a 3 Star Review about this Business. I was sent this in an email. I clicked on the profile of the apparent Online Rep Manager. It seems to not even be some sort of Rep. I took a screenshot of their Profile. I contacted Jeff about this threat it seems to be about taking me to court. And they sent me another NASTIER email. I'll have no Problem spreading this across all the Sites that are capable of leaving reviews about companies if they continue. Yahoo, Google, Angie's List, About, Facebook, BBB, and whatever else I can find. Apparently I'm not a customer...My bank statement says otherwise TWICE. As I stated in my previous review. I had used them twice. THE EMAIL I RECEIVED- I wanted to reach out to you about this review on Green Plumbing. I have been dealing with Green Plumbing for several years. I am not related to anyone there. I do however manage their reputation online. When I read this review, I realized immediately you were never an actual customer of Green Plumbing. You obviously were trying to save some money and decided to do the repairs yourself. I called Jeff and asked him what happened. He explained the situation. Your version makes it appear that Jeff told you $700 to change the cartridge..which is not the case..Had you pursued more information, you may have found out, it was possible for him to come to you and fix JUST that for much, much less. Now you have posted derogatory information on a public forum that is going to be detrimental to this man's business. You have made it appear that HE was incompetent vs it being YOUR PROBLEM.. Jeff has never has one bad review, ever. He is an honest and caring person. He is more than likely, going to undercharge vs overcharge for everything. Your attack is going to eventually cost him money. That is a problem. Because the review you wrote was based on your own lack of experience and your desire to overwhelmingly naive understanding of plumbing repairs, you have slandered the Good Name of Jeff *********** and of Green Plumbing. Because you wrote it in this public forum, you have committed Libel..Defamation of Character is a civil suit, that is winnable because YOU were NEVER a customer..YOU just didn't know what you were doing..which is NOT the fault of Green Plumbing or Jeff ************. They fixed the leak and ran a water line but for those two things it was 700 dollars. Ridiculously expensive and I'm sure the guy ripped me off because he seemed to be making up prices off the top of his head. There are much more professional and cheaper plumbers in town that do great work. If you are shopping around for a plumber, look elsewhere. read more

We have used Green Plumbing a few times and have always been impressed with their customer service, knowledge, and skills base. They installed an outside sink in our garage, which was a great addition to our home. Jeff did a wonderful job; efficient, fair price, offered knowledge and expertise. We had a major leak in our kitchen at Thanksgiving time. He came out and fixed the problem at short notice and still charged a fair price. After the holiday, he came out and installed a new kitchen faucet. Now two years later, we had a problem with the handle. He came over the same day I phoned and fixed the problem at no additional charge, even though it was no longer under warranty. We had a HUGE plumbing issue come up. Our old house, built back in the 50's, needed a complete sewer line replacement and changeover from the clay lines to PVC. We initially called Green Plumbing when we had a backup issue in our bathroom, and they tried snaking the line to clear the blockage, unfortunately to no avail. After getting down in there and seeing what was going on with the line, it was evident we had a huge problem that required an entire sewer line replacement. Jeff and his team were very courteous and professional, and Jeff checked in with us nightly (it was a job that took days) to see how we were doing. Jeff was incredibly honest and up front about what we were facing, which was greatly appreciated. We will use Green Plumbing for any of our plumbing issues without hesitation. I had Green Plumbing put a faucet on my outside hose attachment. The faucet froze, I paid $125.00 for a new faucet. A few months later, the same faucet froze, despite my insulation. I called to have a new "freeze free" faucet to replace the frozen faucet, and they attached another non-freeze cheap $9.00 item and charged me another $125.00 for 10 minutes of labor. After $250.00 and a cheap faucet that will need replacing, I would not use this organization for any problem. read more
