He called my workplace this morning and I answered the phone because I was closest to it, not because I am just a receptionist but that is how the man calling treated me. He asked who he would speak to about hiring a cleaning company and I said that I was the office administrator but we were very happy with our current cleaning company. The man then pushed on, asking me detailed questions about our current service, I told him again firmly that we were happy with our service and that I appreciated him calling, and to have a good day. He interrupted and asked in a very snotty tone, "but who makes the final decision actually? I want to talk to them." I told him that it was me who made the decision and he cut me off and said he would try back so I told him forcefully that my answer would be the same next time and he said again, "I will try back for the person who actually makes the decision" and I hung up at that point. It's no wonder their rating is so low on google. They employ sexist and offensive cold-callers.
