It's on Green River Lake and although it reminds me of Lake Cumberland, this dock is not near as busy as any of the docks I've been to on Lake Cumberland. We were camping about a mile up the road, at Holmes Bend Campground and hadn't planned on it, but spontaneously rented a boat here. Ok, it was a fishing boat, not a pontoon. They do have pontoon and house boat rentals too, but considering that it was Independence Day weekend, I wasn't surprised that those were already rented out. I will have to mention that I was surprised at the maintenance of the fishing boat... not mechanically, but the cleanliness. Co-webs, dirt and fishing hooks, all could've easily been swept or sprayed out prior to our rental slot. Although we didn't book it prior, it just seemed like they would've prepared the boat for business... just an observation and worth mentioning. It really wasn't bad enough for me not to recommend it or go again. Inside the dock, there is a restaurant area. They sell above average 'order at the counter' dock food. And it's fairly cheap too. There is also a beach and a fish pier within walking distance. I just wish I had more time to spend in the area. There was so much to do, you could easily spend a week's vacation here.

The houseboat itself was well stocked and had 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a water slide off the back. We found multiple beautiful places to dock and jump off and swim. The staff here was so incredibly nice and helpful! They came down to the boat and explained everything so well and fitted all the kids for life jackets. We even needed a hand with a minor thing we couldn't remember while out on the lake and they came out right away and were so nice they just said "thanks for calling it gave me an excuse to come out here on this beautiful day" I highly recommend this for a trip to the lake!

I prefer this side of the lake anyway so you don't have a ton of options but for what you pay, improvements should be made. They redid the dock story last year after new ownership and that's about it. The steps to the parking lot are over grown with weeds and unusable, and the overnight boat slips are always filled with trash, nothing to tie up to, and half of the slips are unusable. I won't stop coming here, but this place has a lot of work to do.

best cabins and view. me and my family have been going here for the last 15 years and nothing but…read moregood things have come out of it. they recently went under new management and changed the name to lake cumberland marina and the renovated the dock and marina. still miss the old marina but it was a much needed improvement. the cabins were remodeled this year 2021 and the updated the couch added a coffee maker which is a keurig so make sure you bring k cups and added a few more new kitchen appliances. the bathroom had a new shower head and a new curtain. the bedrooms are moved around and better beds. the only down side is that the new couch does not fold out into a fold out bed which is what my family heavily relied on before the renovation. it is still a nice couch dont get me wrong but it is one less bed for one or two less people. you can call the marina and ask for an air mattress which was a pretty good size. the beach is still the same with the old swings and playground but it is still a lot of fun. we always go with our other family and rent the double decker pontoon boats with the slides and they never fail to make my family happy. the boats did get new motors which is nice so at least you can go a little faster than before but not as fast. overall it is always a great stay at this marina.

They have shower rooms and bathrooms not more than 50 ft from the cabins. The fishing for bluegill in this area is sooo awesome. They also have a restaurant at the Marina about 100ft from the cabins. Can you say convenient!! Although its hours are limited they are so nice and if you make arrangements with them prior they can sometimes stay over to cook dinner for you !! super accommodating!!! The parking lot is so jammed around the ramp that it makes it highly difficult to access the ramp. The slips supposedly offer water and electric but the electric to ours did not work. Worse yet, we pulled our boat out for repairs and came back to find a barge owned by the marina parked in our slip and we could not put our boat back in. All of this in spite of paying nearly $2,000 for an annual slip fee. Did not get even a half a year use as our slip was taken after paying upfront. There was no notification by the marina that they were confiscating our slip or to ask us if we were returning. Just had to pull our boat home and leave it during a beautiful late summer and fall. Just a highly disappointing experience.

Danny would take the time to walk me through troubleshooting to make sure it wasn't something small before I drove an hour to bring my boat down there. He always shot me straight and was fair which I appreciated immensely. Fast forward a year and I bought my brand new boat from them. The process was seamless and they took care of everything for me. Kind of upscale and a weird blend of Hispanic and Italian food. The steak sandwich was not good. Very fatty and chewy. The facilities team at Lee's Ford was lovely. Other boaters were very rude. Dirty and cob webs all over. I was very upset at the condition of this pontoon. I went in and complained, the worker there said she would clean it and she did however she blamed previous renters for the rips in the boat. I told her no that wax chargers 500 hold in case you tear something up so I blame wax rental for not keeping up on repairs and having pictures on line like a new boat. Also I asked about the radio and the cigarette lighter worked and was told yes , however neither worked so we had to blow all the floats up by hand. I am 65 and I believe your advertisement for this boat was totally false also the ladder was not in good working order. Never renting from here again. I was totally disappointed. We went to Moutardier marina for ice cream and they laughed at the 600 rental boat. They told us next time to come here because they have new boats. The staff a wax listened to my complaints about the boat but they could do nothing.

Who ever put her in charge knew a great manager when they saw one. Then after a rather brisk day (in February), we arrived with our house boat. We were met in the harbor by a gentleman in a pontoon who led us to our slip. Another young man was on the dock to help bring us in without mishap. If that wasn't wonderful enough...Freezing we took refuge in the bar portion of Fish tales. Where we met two beautiful inside and out, woman who not only made us feel welcomed and wanted but when we couldn't get a Lyft driver to get us home. One loaned her car to the other and she brought us all the way back to our cars in sommerset. The two beautiful woman? Coco and Karen! You don't have to go to cheers in Boston where everyone knows your name...the perfect place is right here in Wolfs creek. A little hard to get to, but worth every curvy road. You won't regret it!
