Who ever put her in charge knew a great manager when they saw one. Then after a rather brisk day (in February), we arrived with our house boat. We were met in the harbor by a gentleman in a pontoon who led us to our slip. Another young man was on the dock to help bring us in without mishap. If that wasn't wonderful enough...Freezing we took refuge in the bar portion of Fish tales. Where we met two beautiful inside and out, woman who not only made us feel welcomed and wanted but when we couldn't get a Lyft driver to get us home. One loaned her car to the other and she brought us all the way back to our cars in sommerset. The two beautiful woman? Coco and Karen! You don't have to go to cheers in Boston where everyone knows your name...the perfect place is right here in Wolfs creek. A little hard to get to, but worth every curvy road. You won't regret it!

We rented 4 boats (2 - 74' 1-65' and 1- 50') in mid July and the boats were clean and fully functioning. The customer service was awesome from the start. The office communication,about the rental and the questions we had, the crew that helped get us all set on and off the boats and the people working the gas pumps, the store and the restaurant. My family and friends rented a 50' family boat and I was so impressed with how nice the boat was organized. The marina was clean and had everything we needed for a GREAT long weekend. The Marina is impressive with the bridge over top of it. Loading and unloading was efficient and there were plenty of heavy duty carts to get your gear moved. SUNSET Houseboat- 50 footer very comfortable for 4 couples! Generator was brand new and started very easily. Overall fantastic experience. Staff was really courteous and knowledgeable. When we did have an issue with our fridge, they came out immediately even though we were camped 15 miles away on the other side of the lake. They took care of us! A+++++ service.

Restaurant review, not the marina…read more We went to Mitchell Creek Restaurant to visit some friends who had just bought a houseboat. We showed up a full hour before their posted closing time, only to be told the restaurant was "on a break." Five minutes later, that story changed now they were suddenly "closing early because they ran out of food." Honestly, that sounded like a lazy excuse. It felt like the staff just didn't want to work. The worst part? The marina had actually hired a band to play that night, but all the customers left because the restaurant basically shut down. Completely ridiculous. This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. There are far better places around Dale Hollow Lake, and we definitely won't be back. We usually try to give new places a fair shot, but this one blew it completely.

Called the golf Capital of Tennessee, we see many retirees coming into this area! It did drizzle on us but shucks we were all in swim wear . Boats were well maintained and not difficult to handle. I prefer this side of the lake anyway so you don't have a ton of options but for what you pay, improvements should be made. They redid the dock story last year after new ownership and that's about it. The steps to the parking lot are over grown with weeds and unusable, and the overnight boat slips are always filled with trash, nothing to tie up to, and half of the slips are unusable. I won't stop coming here, but this place has a lot of work to do.

best cabins and view. me and my family have been going here for the last 15 years and nothing but…read moregood things have come out of it. they recently went under new management and changed the name to lake cumberland marina and the renovated the dock and marina. still miss the old marina but it was a much needed improvement. the cabins were remodeled this year 2021 and the updated the couch added a coffee maker which is a keurig so make sure you bring k cups and added a few more new kitchen appliances. the bathroom had a new shower head and a new curtain. the bedrooms are moved around and better beds. the only down side is that the new couch does not fold out into a fold out bed which is what my family heavily relied on before the renovation. it is still a nice couch dont get me wrong but it is one less bed for one or two less people. you can call the marina and ask for an air mattress which was a pretty good size. the beach is still the same with the old swings and playground but it is still a lot of fun. we always go with our other family and rent the double decker pontoon boats with the slides and they never fail to make my family happy. the boats did get new motors which is nice so at least you can go a little faster than before but not as fast. overall it is always a great stay at this marina.

RENTER BEWARE... We rented a pontoon boat from this marina…read moretoday. This was our third boat rental this week on Dale Hollow Lake, and we've rented from three different marinas as our location changed. During the pre-rental walkthrough, the dock attendant attached the anchor to the boat. About two hours into our rental, we dropped the anchor, but the clip the dock attendant had used came unclipped, causing the anchor to fall into the lake and be lost. This wasn't due to anything we did--it was because the anchor had not been secured properly. When we returned the boat, we were charged an additional $125 for the lost anchor, even though it was their employee who attached it incorrectly. The anchor itself appeared to be a basic, inexpensive model worth around $30. To make matters worse, the staff was rude and disrespectful when we tried to explain what happened. Based on this experience, I would not recommend renting from this marina.

When we pulled up to meet our friends on the water, they looked at our pontoon and said "wow that pontoon's been through a lot." There was mold all over the seats. The boat would not shift into gear easily. There was no anchor so we couldn't dock anywhere. We won't return to this marina. We also addressed our concerns with management and their response was "you guys are abuncha democrats." We've been boaters for 20 years and have visited lakes all over the country. We've never had this experience. On the bright side, the lake was really beautiful, and there are plenty of other marinas on the lake we will use in the future.
