Touch was medium pressure but I am sure he can adjust to your comfort level. He was totally focused on me and my comfort level during the entire massage. Timm uses a a massage cream which soaks into the skin nicely. Timm is the real deal when it comes to massage. He is liscensed and certified. However, I still have to say my experience here was quite negative. As others have mentioned below, I too did not feel very safe in this environment. It was not professional or welcoming. I did not have Aura's contact info, so I had to wait until someone else left the building so I could get in (I tried the call box but no one answered.) When we went in to the studio, another man (presumably another therapist) was wandering around outside and inside the studio. Aura set me up in the room and closed the door, so I undressed and got under the sheet on the table. A moment later, the aforementioned man burst into the room to "get something." I was completely uncomfortable and startled, seeing as I was naked and not expecting a man I did not know to come into the room unexpectedly. It was such an unprofessional thing to do especially when you have clients who are trying to relax. I have had many massages at many different places and never have I experienced anyone other than my own therapist coming into my room (and even then, they always knock!) Aura must have been uncomfortable too, because while he was rummaging around in the room, she started awkwardly massaging me. Not the way I planned my massage to begin. It was very difficult to relax after that, especially because the other therapist was playing loud more upbeat music in the other room which could not be covered up by the soft spa music Aura was playing for me. All in all - not a comfortable or relaxing environment. I would expect this atmosphere from a massage studio that is only charging me $20. To see that you charge $150 full price is unfathomable to me because I can go down the street and pay less for a much more professional environment, which is exactly what I will be doing next time I need a massage.

The area's always clean and nice and Brett always has the best ambient music going during my sessions. Speaking of which, I can't say enough about this, deep tissue work that leaves me feeling relaxed and energized enough that I frequently walk the 3 miles back to my place after a session (I usually Uber there :)) The complex is a bit hidden and you do need to be buzzed in, but that's cool. I wouldn't want just anybody off the street to be able to wander in when I'm starkers. Anyway, if you've got stiffness, soreness and such and want to get relief, try HMS.

In both sessions he helped me to achieve my goal of not feeling as pregnant by the end. Not only was I able to completely relax and get lost in dreaming thoughts, but I could feel the relief in my troubled areas. For me it's in the hips from constant side lying. I greatly appreciate his attention to detail while he carefully completes the strokes. I can feel that he won't continue until he has every bit of the muscle he's working on in his grasp. Actually five of my colleagues spoke VERY highly of him, straight males AND females. I finally decided to start taking care of myself and booked an appointment with him. WHOOOO WHEEEE! Best idea ever. I've been to other places that don't really care about where I've been or what I'm doing- they just "work" on me. He had the courtesy to ask me all those questions. He was incredibly respectful and professional. It was really nice because he can read his clients reaction and adjust accordingly to make the massage as effective and beneficial as possible.
