Nothing special at all. Going down hill fast. Well, it's been going down hill for a long time. Even before Covid hit. Green Tree Mall really needs a big, good, nationwide size store to come in. Seems like every time a new places comes in and their lease runs out the first year they never renew it. I've heard of talk that it's very over priced to lease a store front in this mall. Several empty stores. Several stores leaving soon, as in stores with curtains and cardboard in the front windows. Two new ones since I had been here back in the summer time. There is still Dillard's, JCPenney, Victoria's Secret, BooksAMillion, Payless Shoes,Rue 21, Spencer's and Bath and Body Works. Texas Roadhouse is supposed to be moving out in 2023, that will be the end of Green Tree Mall! read more

Well my first mall visit and it wasn't too bad. Tony and I went about 11am on a Friday, and it was not that crowded. I was able to take some photos, visit some shops while looking for jeans for my G-baby. Oh and we saw Santa! It's not a very large mall but it gets the job done. No food court but there are a few dining spots about. There was a Hot Topic, Bath and Body Works, Penneys and Justice...and More!!! Recommend to all. read more

I have never really cared for the Green Tree Mall much. I've always been from Louisville though, where there are nicer malls and no need to make the extra drive to this one. The only times I have been here are when I'm already in the area and I'm bored. This mall is not much. It has about enough stores to entertain me for about 45 minutes. They also don't really have a food court anymore; there's a couple of restaurants and food stands, but not much to choose from. If you live near this mall it can be convenient. Besides that I would rather recommend the Louisville malls. read more

The Green Tree Mall has certainly seen better days. Nearly every mall in the nation seems to have declined, and the Green Tree Mall is not the exception to that statement. But it's still here. I decided to make a trip across the bridge over the weekend to this mall. It had been a while & I felt like driving a little extra. I've never liked this mall. This past weekend's trip solidified that I don't like this mall. It's great for people that don't want to cross the bridge(from Indiana) to visit Oxmoor. It's also smaller than most malls which can make it a little less stressful if you don't like crowds. My main problem with this mall is the number of stores that I would actually shop at. It has a lot of what I call "fluff" stores. The only reason to visit this mall is for Books-A-Million(similar to the Breckinridge Lane location, but different) & Texas Roadhouse(the best one in the area & where the franchise started). As for the other stores? Go online & shop. Additional note: I did notice on their website that H&M is opening there soon so that's definitely a plus in their favor. read more

Celebrating 50 years The Green Tree Mall in Clarksville is still in business! Although the mall has only one anchor store JC PENNY they have survived...the mall itself has a Dillard's that's located next to Penny's but the remainder of the mall is rather different. You have your bath shops and nail salons, stores that cater to the younger clientele some novelty shops and of course the vendors selling from free standing booths. They have no actual food court. But there is a Texas Roadhouse inside the mall. The mall itself is very clean and organized and there is ample parking surrounding the mall. It's a very laid back place to shop and there isn't a large crowd, so shopping is easy. With all the online shopping and the completion of several other shopping venues in the area it's great to see the mall open. They have withstood the test of time. When I stopped in yesterday I was devastated to find out my favorite store in the world closed down. I have to go all the way to St. Matthews now?? NY and Co. WHY? They still have Maurices, Gamestop, Hot Topic, Books a Million, Finish Line, VS, B&BW, etc so I'll still go but COME ON! That's where I get 80% of my work clothes. read more

As far as shopping malls go, this one is not high up on the list. It isn't very large, doesn't have very many interesting stores and it seems like more of their stores are closing each time I visit. I do enjoy rolling across the bridge to hit a couple of spots that I frequent on the regular for things such as the Proactiv automated kiosk. I find myself wandering around sometimes just because of the nostalgic feel to this mall. I love the smells of shopping malls and still find it stress relieving and relaxing to walk all around and end to end in a complex like this one and most other malls. I will also say that any store employees I have encountered have been helpful and friendly with me. That is a plus. The crowds are few, they have tasty snacks, and there is a bookstore. read more

I had some time to kill in the area, so I did a quick Google search for a mall, and Green Tree Mall is what came up. While the mall is nice, "average" is about the only word I can think of to describe it. Typical shops (Sears, Bath and Body Works, Dillards, Books A Million, Buckle, Hollister, etc.) but nothing that knocked my socks off. It served it purpose though; I killed an hour walking around the bookstore before heading to my next destination. read more

Green Tree Mall is not the type of mall where you go to hang out and waste an entire day. If you want to be a mall rat I recommend making the drive to Mall St. Matthews. Green Tree is simply too small for that. Rather it is the type of mall where you go on a shopping mission to find those items that you just can't get at a big box store. It does afterall have the staple anchor stores like Dillards, Sears, and JC Penny as well as a decent variety of small stores ranging from Aeropastle to Eyes by India to Radio Shack to Victoria's Secret. Overall, I was impressed with the ease of parking, the wide selection of stores, and the easy to navigate mall layout. read more

When I was a kid, there was this local mall that was mostly empty with just a few stores. People would come to shop at the Kohls that was there, or go to budget priced cinema. But what a lot of people used the building for was mall walking and they would just walk laps. People would do this at our full scale mall as well. People do this here at Green Tree as well, BUT they have fully embraced it. They have markers around the the hallways telling you how far you have gone, tracking your progress. So it that is why you are here, it is great. Living in Louisville, I am much closer to Mall St Matthews and Oxmoor Center, but Green Tree has one store that neither of those have and is much closer than driving out to the outlets. I will come to Green Tree when I want to go to Maurices. It also has Books-A-Million attached to the mall, which is nice because I love a good book store. read more

If there's a recession going on, it doesn't show at Green Tree Mall. The place is always packed when I visit. Of course, that could be a bad thing if you don't like crowds. Crowds usually mean one of two things at a mall - (1) it has become a teen hangout or (2) the mall is attracting lots of shoppers. For GTM, it is the latter. Oh sure there are still groves of teens... after all... it IS a mall. But overall, I saw lots of families out spending their day and dollars. Shopping malls have already had their heyday, but this one is doing well. I feel this mall has been a little neglected. It has all the right stores to keep folks coming in, but it needs an update... a refresh. The decor is outdated. (Not dirty - just outdated) Also, the anchor stores are small and single level. I truly feel this mall could expand (our or up) and do well. This mall has your typical chain stores that you'd expect at a mall. No more or less. And it works. read more

Not my favorite area mall but it's decent and convenient to work. It has a Jcpennys with a Sephora, a nice bookstore, a few stores my kids enjoy, an Orange Julius, and a Texas Roadhouse on site. That pretty much sums up what brings me to it on occasion. It could use some updates and more current stores. Those might bring me in more. read more

I don't know why this is a mall. Can't find anything here at all. I went to specifically buy myself clothes- and had every officer literally watching me as I would go in stores- WITH MY SON. I finally approached one age he told me I looked young- that's why. I really don't. I have frequented this mall many many times throughout my life. It's a decent mall but I wouldn't say it's my favorite. If I were to really need to shop first I'll look online and then I'll probably drive the extra distance to say St. Matthews mall in Louisville. This mall isn't very big so there are not a lot of shopping options. I will say they do have a little bit of everything so that's a plus. Their food court includes the pretzel place, orange Julius and the American cookie shop, so yea not a lot of choices but good ones! read more

We like to take our young grandchildren to the small playground located just inside the main doors in the front center of the mall. The equipment is soft and the floor "gives" to reduce injury possibilities. The kids always have fun! There are vending machines located within eyesight. read more

I recall this mall when I was a child and being the mall to go to - it felt a lot bigger back then - funny! People do still shop at this mall, so I've never felt like it was deserted. JcP and Dillard's are the two main stores. They both have pretty good selections, so this mall isn't a bad option if you want to swing in. The JcP store has a Sephora and a home section. There is a pretty good salon for eyebrow threading that I've used several times. Well know retail stores, such as Lenscrafter, Bath and Body Works, Victoria Secret and a couple of places to eat are also located in the mall. And Spencer's is still there! There is a small casual sitting area near Dillard for counter food ordering. I believe Texas Roadhouse is the only sit-down restaurant. I consider the mall to be very clean and very small. The upside to this location is there are plenty of nearby places to shop and eat, so if you're already in the area it's definitely conveniently located. I've always found the customer service in all stores I've visited to be very good. read more

Being a Hoosier by birth and a Louisvillian by choice this mall holds a special place in my heart of hearts. I can't even begin to describe the number of times I have been here and how much it has changed since I was a mall-rat-teenager. It's way smaller than the St. Matthews or Oxford, however it's got enough in there to get your shopping done and to avoid the large crowds the other two malls can bring in. It has essentially four wings to it, three of which have a major chain department store at the end of their respective hallway. If you walk in the front entrance directly on your left is Books-A-Million. It's a decent sized book store which is rare now with the invention of e-books. It has a little coffee shop inside if you need to get your fix while you're there as well. On the other side there is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Clarksville, Chinese Gourmet Express, hidden away and they will give you samples of the proteins before you order so I say, check it out. Going to the end of this hallway you have several stores on the way (Claire's, Lids, Finish Line, Lens Crafter's, etc.). When you arrive at the center you have the small food court. There is Auntie Anne's, Dairy Queen/Orange Julius and The Cookie Store, all of which have what you would expect them to have to munch on while you do your shopping. To the right you have plenty more shops to stop in at like Hot Topic, Razz Matazz, Rue 21, Shoe Sensation, Game Stop and (SOON, I hope) H&M. (If you couldn't tell I spend most of my time down here.) At the end of the hallway there is a Sears and they have an Auto Service Center outside as well. Coming back out to the food court and you take (another) right, there is Hallmark, Subway, a little toy store and (every kiss begins with) Kay's. At the end you have Dillard's, and it very well may be the largest single store in the whole place. There's so much in there to look at and it's pretty easy to lose time while you're looking at fragrances, clothes and/or other nick nacks that they have. Once more back to the food court and take (just one more, I swear) right, and you find plenty more shops to try out. Journey's being a really cool alternative shoe store that it is, Spencer's Gifts to get that special something for that special someone, Buckle, American Eagle, Bath and Body Works (yummy smells!) and there you have it .... JC Penny with Sephora inside. Their clothes selection for men isn't that great but sometimes you can get a pretty good steal on pants or a cute top. The women's selection is much bigger and if you're a guy and not afraid to branch out you can find something here for you as well. The real gem here though is Sephora, whether you use makeup or not there is a ton of men's cologne, women's perfume, beauty products, makeup brushes, other nifty beauty tools and tons of makeup. While it is smaller than the one located in Louisville, it's worth a shot and all the employees will help you find what you need. The parking outside isn't bad, unless you happen to be out there during the holidays, then brace yourself for hell. If none of the food inside the mall tickles your fancy then there are restaurants outside that you can sample also. It's far from the best mall in Kentuckiana, however it's a nice break from the bigger ones and it's a place that will always hold a little place in my heart just like River Falls did before she became Bass Pro. It's worth a shot if you happen to be on the Indiana side of the river and find yourself needing a gift and a quick bite to eat. read more

So disappointed in JC Penny's and how they operated their Black Friday Sale. Talk about customer abuse and false advertising. Waited in line for 5 hours for the $500, $100, $10 coupon give-away. Was first in line and only got a $10 coupon only to find out that the first 3 things I wanted to buy out of their ad was exempt and that coupon was no good for it. When I complained to the manager he was very rude and I told him "Well, your only hurting yourself and so is Penny's by abusing their customer's in this way." They're forgetting that without their customer's they're out of business. If they loose all their in-store sales on Black Friday, they're gonna loose most of the yearly profit. They've lost me, and I bet I'm not the only one! read more

I know, I know...I'm obviously not a fan of the sunnier side of the bridge. But that's just not it. My daughter and I have been into the Greentree Mall a few times. I have to say that's probably - no probably not - but yes I do loathe malls, but Oxmoor is no walk in the park either. The traffic, the crowds...yea it can be daunting. What sets Greentree apart from all other malls are two things, the size (as it is smaller than any mall I've ever been to) and the customer service - at any store I decide to visit, down to their security. I have issues getting around sometimes, and with Oxmoor being so big, if I am with my daughter I usually drop her off at the door, and she finds a security guard, and they bring me out a wheel chair, sometimes the security guard accompanies us to customer service and sometimes not, but then I go and give them my driver's license in exchange for the wheel chair. And I am pushed around the mall. If I went by myself, I would park as close as I could in handicap parking - with my sticker - and make it through Sephora, and wait until a security guard passed by. They were always so helpful. If I could make it through the mall, and couldn't make it back out to my car they were always willing to give me a ride. The few times we've been to Greentree, I've let my daughter handle things, running in and out, until recently. The holidays dragged me in, reluctantly. We visited Bath and Body Works, customer service horrifying. Spencer's, abhorrently rude, finally Victoria Secret's, I had to walk away. I sat in the middle area to catch my breath as my daughter finished up, and I caught a security guard walking by and I asked him, "Do you know where I can find a wheel chair, I don't think I can make it out of the mall?" He said he didn't know he thought they were at customer service. I asked him if he could get me one. He replied that was not his job, he was not customer service. I asked him if he could take me out to my car, I just couldn't make it. It was coming down to him or an ambulance, but he just didn't care...it was "not his job." And he said besides you have to put down a small deposit of some kind. I was appalled. Ok. Logic here. What are you more likely to leave behind, your driver's license with your picture and your name and all your information or a small deposit? Just a glimpse of the common sense here. Secondly when you work for someone - whether it be a hotel, store, or a corporation, or a mall - everyone is guest services. Everyone. That is the difference between Oxmoor, Mall at St. Matthews and all the empty store fronts at Greentree. Most of our money went back over to Oxmoor. We were conveniently in the area later on that week, and had to go there for the ever-damanding flockin' apple store, so it worked out. In the end, I think Greentree got maybe 5 bucks of our money...that's what bad customer service will do for you. read more

Great mall for being small. Everyone always friendly in the stores. I like it because the store workers always remember who you are.

This is the worst mall I have ever been to, I thought the one in Killeen, Texas was bad but this place is just sad. Even the St. Matthews Oxmoor Center does not have Stores as in Louis Vuitton, Tiffany's and Co.... I suppose if you grew up around the Kentuckiana, this place is ok. It's a nice mall that looks pretty clean. It's small, and has a majority of the shops that are popular. It would be nice to have a couple more specialty shops. The food court needs something more, because it's pretty lacking. There's a Chinese restaurant, which is pretty crap, and a desert place, and pretzel place which is the bomb. That's pretty much it, except there's a Texas Roadhouse outside. The bathrooms are always dirty, but fuck, there's so many people, I don't expect much. Don't expect much, and you won't be disappointed. Hell, my girlfriend and I go there all of the time, and we have fun. It's alright, just not awesome. read more
