I'm not much of a shopper and I generally don't like going to malls or shopping centers but the Paddock Shops is a nice collection of slightly more upscale shopping destinations. It includes all the favorites like Barnes and Noble, Banana Republic, Build-A-Bear, Chinco's, etc. It also has a number of restaurants and eatiers like Five Guys Burgers, Crumbl Cookies, Martini Italian Bistro and Mitchell's Fish Market. So, if you're looking for a NICE, CLEAN shopping destination with a slightly upscale assortment of the major retailers - this is the place. read more

Great stores. Shopped for essentials and then some.. I didn't really feel welcome in some of the stores ( aerie and Francesca's) they greeted the women that walked in behind me but not me in aerie. When I smiled at them as I encountered them throughout the store, I was met with aloofness. I thought that was odd.. aside from that I wasn't checked in on and I needed help. I did notice work space gossip and drama so I may come in at a bad time despite the store being mostly empty of customers. read more

There's a nice shopping establishment out in the eastern part of Louisville. My little girls and I stopped here to look at build a bear and ice cream stores and a few other spots. We really enjoyed all the different scenes and the attractions that I had to offer read more

The Paddock Shops area is a really nice place, and honestly, I just forget it's there. It's not normally the direction I go in, but I wanted to check it out while still on the hunt for some Christmas presents. The shops are primarily big chain stores, but there are a few other businesses like a couple workout places, salons and restaurants. It's also very easy to walk through everything. With restaurants you have everything from little sandwich shops to fine dining, so you have plenty of options to choose from. During Christmas time they have all kinds of things going on like carriage rides, mini ponies and carolers walking around. It's pretty neat. Since I live next to the malls I probably won't come here too often, just because a lot of the stores are the same. But I'm sure I'll be back if there's a restaurant over there I wanted to visit or I just want to switch things up. read more

When I'm conflicted between shopping and enjoying the weather, I visit the Paddock Shops. It's an open air shopping center that offers a nice variety of shops, restaurants, Starbucks and dessert spots. Even during bouts of rain or cold weather, it's easy enough to pop in and out of the shops. And, parking will never be an issue. This review is for the West Elm store. Don't fall into this trap...Absolutely the worst delivery experience ever!! We purchased a piece of furniture (console) from Paddock Shops West Elm in Louisville on 27 August 2022. The shipping status shows delivered on 10 October however, As of 21 October 2022, after another false promise of delivery to our home address today, our purchase has yet to arrive. Now being told, we'd have to wait another month (19 November) unless an early day becomes available....UPDATE (11 November): we were scheduled for an earlier delivery date on 11 November (today). I called this morning to check the status and was informed that the delivery was attempted (I live on a military base), but drivers did not have proper documentation....I received no phone call, no e-mail! I am even willing to meet the truck at the base visitor center and transfer the item to my own vehicle if necessary. I called customer service and the company they use to deliver "Fidelitone" countless times. Before and after every failed delivery, I have been told multiple times our furniture was on the truck and scheduled for a specific day. UPDATE (18 NOV). Finally received today. I got a call from the driver but the truck was unable to pass under a low clearance bridge so I asked to meet me at the front gate. Met at the gate and took the box home in my own vehicle. I opened up the box to assemble and...two of the parts were bent! I am positive something heavier was placed on top of the box at some point and bent the frame. I am no longer surprised. Now we'll see how long it takes to receive the replacement. My advice - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY!! Search online and you will find tons of negative reviews for systemic delivery and quality issues associated with products purchased from Williams-Sonoma owned stores (West Elm, Arhaus). read more

I had a NOT so pleasing experience at Drakes, The Paddock Shops on January 15th 2021. We ordered our dinner-four meals-online between 6-6:30 P.M. They told us it would be ready in about 15-20 minutes. I drove there, got in my TEXT pick-up spot and texted them. They asked for my name and my order-I told them. Then some guy came out and apologized that there was another customer...WITH THE SAME NAME ( I HIGHLY doubt that) that they received my order. SO , he apologized and told me that if I didn't mind waiting they could remake our order in about 25 minutes and it would be free. 15 minutes later he came out and apologized that the kitchen was very busy and the order was going to take even longer. 1/2 hour later same guy came out and apologized AGAIN and offered a complimentary soft drink. (Time passed...). 1/2 hour later same guy brought my order out with 3-$10 coupons... I asked if they were able to refund our money and he said they weren't able to do that! WHAT?! I waited in the parking lot for over an hour...And this guys attitude became less personable each time he came out to give me an update. Definitely not happy with the service! read more
