Illegal and wrongful actions on the part of Auto Care Towing and we will be filing a complaint with California Department of Insurance. California Highway Patrol. The Better Business Bureau and all agencies possible to alert and prevent other local customers to beware of their wrongful, fraudulent misrepresentation of facts and business practices. So, a crane would be the only way, as it needed to be lifted onto the balcony over the garage. Crane was very responsive and I was able to schedule the delivery people and them for a date and time only a couple of weeks away. It took less than one hour to crane the new fridge up and take the old one down (see pics). Not only was the service amazing, the price was remarkably reasonable. And, Tony and Kathy just happen to be really great people. I cannot recommend them any more highly for any large items like fridges, hot tubs, beams... You can't go wrong.

My vehicle was taken to their Watsonville/Royal Oaks yard, and dealing with both the office staff and the tow yard attendant was unnecessarily stressful and hostile. I paid $1,500 to retrieve my vehicle, yet once on site, the yard attendant refused to give me his name, acted aggressively, and attempted to prevent me from leaving with my car after it had already been fully paid for. He became confrontational, behaved in an intimidating manner, and even tried closing the gate while I was inside the yard. I felt genuinely unsafe during this interaction and simply wanted to back my car out while waiting for another tow, but I was still denied access. While dealing with this unprofessional behavior at the yard, I had to call their office again. I needed my car towed to a tire shop and literally had to call their office three times before anyone was finally dispatched. Each time I called, I was told it would "only take about 20 minutes," which was repeatedly not true. It wasn't until that third call, while the situation was actively escalating at the yard, that they finally seemed to take the situation seriously. Once we were finally on the road, the tow truck driver followed behind me. During the drive, I received a call from a random office staff member telling me that I should have paid for the tow before leaving the yard and that my car would not be delivered to the destination until payment was made. This was never communicated beforehand. I pulled over to the side of the road, spoke directly with the tow truck driver, and explained the call I had just received. I asked whether I should pay immediately or upon arrival. He confirmed that paying at the destination was fine and that this was customary. The conflicting information and unnecessary call added yet another layer of stress to an already chaotic experience. The entire interaction was recorded, and I will be sharing the footage with my large local social media following so others are aware of how customers are treated here. Accidents are stressful enough. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding Auto Care Towing if you have any other option.

WCC will talk a good game (Tim N.), but that's about all you'll get; maybe some double talk and some spin. Our whole street uses him. My neighbor had a giant tree taken down by them. My other neighbor has him out multiple times a year to trim a heavily wooded area backing up to our neighborhood canyon. They like him so much they stopped by to say hi to him and his crew when he was trimming our trees. I have used a few other trimmers in the area who have been great. However, when you call them a 2nd time their quotes double. Jorje is honest and consistent with his work and price. We all talk about the Carmel mark-up, whenever people come to Carmel they always mark-up the price when you compare it to your friend in Seaside or Marina. He doesn't do that. He is consistent across the Peninsula. When he was in the neighborhood at my neighbor's house I took down a large branch myself and asked him if he would swing by and chip it for me. He cleaned up my unprofessional cut, chipped up my limb, and blew away the mess for me on his way out after a full day of work at my neighbors. You can even cut off pieces of the cylinders to make kindling. Working with Jen (the owner) and the rest of her crew was also a great experience. With the recent cold spell, we had burned through our supply of dry wood, and our outdoor supplies were all wet. I called Jen, she was super responsive, friendly and thoughtful. Her team of employees were great to work with as well. They had my pallet water-proofed and loaded, and I was on my way in about 10 minutes. Goodwood does not need to make this wood product available to the public. They have plenty of orders from high-end resorts. Jen and her team deserve a lot of appreciation. They are doing great work for our community and our planet. The only caution I would have is to keep the wood dry. Like another reviewer mentioned, it turns to sawdust when wet. I would suggest this for indoor storage and use only.
