I simply love it here. The size of the apartment is perfect for my current needs. Doesn't feel cramped at all and it is rather quiet throughout the day and night. The location is perfect as i'm right next to shopping centers, restaurants, and only about fifteen minutes away from work. The staff in the office are super nice and always let me know when a package has been picked up due to the delivery driver not leaving it in the correct spot. They do activities on certain occasions to keep the residents engaged and give the feeling of community. Come check it out, you won't be disappointed. read more

Be warned if you're visiting anyone: even if you put in the information on their guest parking properly, it seems their systems aren't up to date and their mall cop parking security will put a warning sticker on your car with super strong glue that doesn't come off and will damage any tint or paint. I hoped that after moving out of here, I would not be another resident who had an issue moving out of this place. I saw reviews beforehand and was wary of what would come up during the move-out process. I moved out in August 2025 and decided to go with the rent responsible option since I would be terminating my lease two months early. I knew what I was getting myself into, as I had spoken with the staff, and I signed my early lease termination early, so no surprises there. In October 2025, I received a statement from Circa 2020 via mail with the final expenses, including damages, clean-up fees, and at the bottom of the statement was an area that said "Refund Due" and the amount listed. I contacted Circa and should have documented who I spoke to, and the lady I spoke to pulled up the same statement I received and confirmed that my security deposit covered most of the other fees, and I would receive an amount via certified mail and check, and keep an eye out for it in my mail. I confirmed that I did not owe anything and that I had not misinterpreted the statement I had seen. It was again confirmed that I did not owe anything. Two months later, I reached out to Circa 2020 to ascertain where the check was. I was then told they would verify with their accounting staff if there were any issues mailing the check. I was told about two days later that there was an error, and I did not owe money; rather, I owed Circa 2020 money. I was completely caught off guard, as it took my own phone call to suddenly alert them to this so-called error. Please keep in mind, I had not been contacted by staff prior to this phone call about them catching their own error. I do not see how I am responsible for this error, plus it has been well over 30 days since my lease officially expired. Very disappointing that this was not caught early on or even during my own phone call when the statement was initially received. Yet again, Circa 2020 has dropped the ball and disappointed yet another former resident. I have been added to the long list of reviews of poor oversight by Circa 2020 staff after nearly living there for about three years. I hope that any new future residents think twice before moving in here. Read the reviews. My experience at Circa 2020 has been defined by repeated misinformation and a long history of staff citing made-up policies that don't appear anywhere in the lease. When I was applying to a sister property, The Standard, I was told by Circa 2020 management that if I used the rent-responsible clause in my current lease -- which is a completely valid and written lease option -- my application would be denied. I was also told that if I chose that option after getting approved, the application would be considered "falsified." These claims weren't based on any documented policy. It became clear that they were trying to pressure me into choosing the more expensive lease termination buyout option, which would have resulted in them collecting $5,000 from me. There's a clear pattern of behavior here. I was previously told by staff that any cars on the property had to be registered in my name -- again, no such requirement exists in the lease. When I pushed back and asked for clarification, Maritza, the property manager, twice accused me of harassment -- both times simply because I questioned policies and requested to speak with Circa's legal counsel. She even threatened eviction just for asking for legal clarification and accountability. Worse, she once disclosed private information about my lease and a personal request I made to another resident, which was completely inappropriate and a breach of trust. Over the course of this situation, I asked no less than 10 times to speak with Circa's legal counsel and was never given that opportunity. If you're considering this property, document everything, ask for policies in writing, and don't take verbal claims at face value. read more

Best place I've lived!! Maintenance is great. Events are fantastic. Feels like a family!

My sister has lived here for about 5-6 years and I have honestly hesitated writing this review out of fear of her receiving retaliation but she is moving soon, so I no longer care. Firstly, she is on the 3rd floor of one of the front buildings and there is absolutely no elevator. California law states that buildings are only required to have an elevator if they are 3+ stories or 3000 ft² per floor (which I don't know the measurements lol) so I'm not sure if this is against the law or if each floor is just under 3000 ft² to skirt past this law, but it is definitely VERY inconvenient. Groceries? A hassle. Honestly, moving ANYthing large up or down 3 flights of stairs is hard, imagine if you also have elderly family or small children to help or really any form of physical disability? Horrible. Second, the parking. Guest parking is VERY limited and guest's cars will be PROMPTLY towed if they do not register their car or move their car once their time runs out. Yes, even if you register your car, it is timed & if/when the time runs out, you MUST move your car or it WILL be towed. I have personally never gotten MY car towed, but I did witness a woman who came downstairs to find her car gone (aka towed) and she was crying & asking what happened, and staff had their golf cart Rent A Cop handle her while they went back into the office. Not one person handled her with compassion. I couldn't help her but the incident stuck with me and put a really bad taste in my mouth in terms of the staff here. (Not like they ever tried to be nice and help their case, which will be discussed in the next point.) They also stick these annoying 7"x4" sticker warning tickets on your window which COMPLETELY BLOCK your view and are hard to take off. You will literally need to scrape it off with a razor. Is this an obstruction of driving view and illegal? Once again, I don't know, but they sure don't seem to have a shred of empathy if you raise this concern to them. Lastly, the office staff. They are clearly bored and miserable because every time I'm at the pool, they watch the cameras and find something new to pick at and "police". One time, they sent the very plump maintenance man out to tell my niece (2yo) and nephew (4yo) to stop splashing each other bc they could see it on camera and apparently splashing is against the rules? Another time, my sister and I were working out in the community gym and she had her son sitting in the corner with an iPad while we worked out. The same plump maintenance man told us the woman in the office was complaining about us having a kid in the gym and we had to leave. VERY family friendly! One time, my sister's coffee machine broke so we went downstairs to grab some coffee and the office staff hovered over us like we were going to steal some of the free creamers lol. Not to mention the "2 guest rule" they love to enforce EVEN WHEN NO ONE IS THERE! I could understand (and HAVE) if it was busy & crowded with not enough seats, but to go up to the ONLY people there and ask them to leave because there's 3 guests instead of 2? No wonder there are such bad reviews for this place. I have never moved out of here, but according to the reviews, that is also a nightmare as it seems commonplace for Circa 2020 to overcharge and unless you have the money to take them to small claims court (as a previous reviewer HAD to), they will simply get away with it. Lived here with my husband and my roommate for a year. It was overall a great place to stay, but NOT a great place to move out. We moved out 4 days before our lease was up, and turned in our keys the same day we got movers. They send us their letter of damages and deductions, and claimed we owed them money. We had a $1300 deposit with pet deposit. They absolutely overcharged us for the paint charges, and they never should have charged us for the carpet. They charged us a cleaning fee, a paint fee, a hole repair fee, and for carpet replacements. We fought with them very hard against the Carpet and Paint charges via email and almost took this to small court. After many persisting emails, we got them to refund us half of the carpet charges and 1/3 of the paint charges. We also got our State Farm to refund us the carpet charges, and this is the only reason we didn't take them to court, on top of the fact that we now live 4+ hours away. Take pictures. Know what they can rightfully charge you. Keep any receipts of any cleaning or repairs. Take them to small claims court if you can. Overall, don't live here unless you're rich and don't care. They claim to be luxury apartments so they have a reason to overcharge you. They aren't Luxury, they are just nice. For those who want the details, I've listed below, so in case you find yourself in a similar situation. Pet carpet charges: Their claim was that we had pet urination on the Master carpet, yet they initially tried to charge us for BOTH carpets (that's illegal). -They sent a letter out after agreeing to refund half the charge, and they were combative: "guest bedroom had no pet urine stains, but did have high traffic area". -Our roommate lived in that Guest bedroom. He moves around for work, so he lived there 7 months of the year maximum. So they are lying about "high traffic area". -The supposed pet urine, is a beverage spill. Beverages, even water, can penetrate carpet through to the sponge. -Their evidence was lacking. They sent us a letter from a small business (no evidence of said business online) that claimed: "carpets throughout the apartment are stained and saturated with pet urine" -It was only one carpet, and it was a small stain located by my nightstand (which was only visible in their picture, IF you pulled up the carpet). So again, they are lying. -Lastly, they lied via email stating that their "team smelled pet urine the moment they entered, and we were unable to smell it." -We keep insisting prior to their lie that there was no pet smell because we wanted to catch them lying. We have a written letter from our Movers that stated there was no Pet urine smells in the apartment (they moved us out the same day we turned in our keys). The paint charges - They claim: "There were an enormous amounts of holes in the walls, that need to be patched up and then sanded down before repainting them. In the photos you will see that there are scuff marks on the walls" - We had 2 TV mounts, 2 pot wall holders hung up, a wall coat hanger mounted, and a few Picture frames. We have had the same items hung up in every apartment for the last 5 years and they charged us more than double than our previous apartments did. -They charged us SEPARATELY for the hole patches, so irrelevant. -Scuff marks are considered wear and tear and also covered under cleaning. They did not chip away the paint. We lived in Los Angeles prior to moving the Circa, in 2 bedroom apartments BIGGER than Circa, and we were never charged more than $250 for paint and hole repairs. Circa charged us $650 for paint and hole repair. We didn't take pictures because we were always charged fairly. We don't mind paying for carpet cleaning, general cleaning because we have pets, nor do we mind paying for hole and paint repairs due to our mounts. We DO mind being grossly overcharged because they think they can bully us. Take my advice and live elsewhere. read more

I've live here for 2 years now.. I have the Diamond Layout. The Community: ~ it's great! I love everything about it! It's like living in a resort. I kind of wish they have other amenities like my old place like Sauna but I love how everything is maintained and that the workers/maintenance crew keep this place really nice. * Gym - is really equipped. although I only went there 2x since I lived here (lmao). I love the yoga room. * Pool/Jacuzzi - I went to the jacuzzi a few times but never really went to the pool. Sometimes it's crowded with lots of kids * dog park - this is where I go a lot because I have a dog. It's awesome and my dog agrees The Staff: * I love everyone! They're nice and always helpful. From Tricia (where is she now? She was one of the reason I picked this place. She was awesome!) to Jamela and now Maritza! They're so sweet! I never had any problems with them. Honestly if you have problems with staff, maybe it's you that needs attitude adjustment because these people are really sweet! * Magdy is one of the best cook!! He's my favorite! Always saying hi! * Maintenance crew - they're the best! They're always attending to what I needed to fix! Even installed my ring doorbell * Security - they make me feel safe. I only had one complaint before and it was addressed right away so great job! Apartment: * I have the Diamond which is a great layout. I wish my closet is bigger. It's like a half size walk in closet but the amount of living space is huge! Will update pending reply from management.) As a student of HR law and a working professional, I am keenly aware of fair and equitable treatment. All is well until you attempt to move out. You will be ignored, be prepared to write checks and possibly threatened. Looking at their Google reviews (which are more accurate), I'm certainly not alone in the move out nightmare. In my case, I was sent an email on the morning that they close their office, and the next business day I go in to attempt to speak to management (ignored) to understand why I was threatened with a "3 day notice to quit" when my rent due date was on the day I received the email. That same day I gave a cashier's check for the balance that I was told to pay, then later received an email that they're still processing a notice. (Mind you, I moved out 2 weeks prior to my lease end and could just returned keys and chosen the "quit" option but did the honorable thing of paying over $1100 even thought I'm not living there.) Being fair, apartments/property deserves an A and maintenance A+. If money is not an issue for you, then it can be fine place to live. read more

Me and my family have lived here for almost 3 YEARS! The amount of time we stayed here speaks volumes of how delightful our experience has been. A very family friendly, resort like (pool, jacuzzi, 24/7 gym, yoga studio, Amazon hub), spot clean, gated community with the apartments constructed and maintained like a 5 star hotel. The community has a dedicated maintenance team who will resolve the issue in a timely manner and a 24hrs patrolling team, which definitely makes us feel very secure (having 2 kids). Add to it community events held every month and my go to Starbucks coffee machine in the club house I begin my day with. The staff is very friendly and available to resolve any issue. Special shout-out to Magdy for being the most joyful, friendly and caring person who we consider as family. Strongly recommend living in Circa2020! read more

I'm posting a review because I genuinely don't know what to do. I'm hoping that the owner will respond as I see they have to other reviews. Since I moved in I have been reporting my concerns and asking for help from management. I have never gotten a response to my request to meet and speak with them. The noise from my neighbor at all hours is unreasonable. My living room floor literally shakes with the sound of music and video games. It has been an issue I have been here and I have been asking for help, for months. I've left voicemails and emails asking to speak with the manager either by phone or in person- I've never received a response. I had no choice but to make different living arrangements. I have to be able to sleep and think straight. I emailed the office letting them know I was giving my 30 day notice. And don't you know it! Just like that, a response telling me that I had to pay out the remainder of my lease as well as pay an additional month. I responded and again asked to speak with a management and that I would accommodate their schedule, no response. I feel like I'm being held hostage financially. If I don't receive a response and they continue to try and force me to pay the remaining of my term (almost $8,000) according to their email, I will most certainly take legal action and share my experience with as many people as possible. In addition to these concerns, for a time my hallway stank of strong marijuana. If I opened my door the smell filled my apartment. I saw my neighbor walk out of the apartment with a huge mixing bowl of marijuana. I shared this with apartment staff. About a month ago the police where questioning the residents in my hall about my next door neighbor who was found deceased. No communication from the office about this upsetting event. I hope they informed the new resident of the situation. All I want is to get out of here. If the owner reads this, please- just let me leave. I can't afford to pay out my lease and it's not reasonable to expect me to live here anymore. I've done everything I can to communicate and be patient. Please just let me leave. read more

We sued them in court and won our security deposit back! We had an overall good living experience here. The units are nice, and the amenities are great, but when it came time to move out, things turned ugly. We prided ourselves on leaving a clean, undamaged apartment when we moved out. We requested a move-out inspection and they failed to do one. Then the management (Maritza Gonzalez and Ebony Watkins) sent us a statement that they were charging us for cleaning the unit, professional carpet cleaning, and a full repainting of the unit. After some back and fourth we filed a lawsuit in small claims court against them to get our security deposit returned and we won. Maritza Gonzalez lied in court about us mounting a tv on the wall, but we had pictures to show that our tv was not mounted to the wall and we left the unit clean and without damage to the paint. We even used all of their own pictures they sent us of the unit in court which showed no damage or cleanliness issues. Don't let this management company keep your security deposit! We assume it's their business model to do so based on many other reviews here. It's easy to sue them: 1. Request a move-out inspection before turning in your keys (as is your right). TAKE DETAILED PICTURES OF BATHROOMS, KITCHEN, APPLIANCES, PAINT! 2. Send a demand letter after you receive a statement from them with charges. 3. Sue them in San Bernardino Small claims court - easy to do online, and a quick trip for a fast hearing at the Fontana courthouse. I've been living here since September of 2022. Best apartment building living experience I have ever had! Hands down!! In my experience the front office has been very accommodating. Anything you need the girls there are fast and on it. And their maintenance crew is the best I've seen aswell. Quick and thorough if you need anything done. Not to mention the pool is extremely nice! Gym is great and 24hrs. You can stop by the enclosed mail room and Amazon lockers anytime. Just really convenient for me. And lastly they have a dog park! Very fair size. And they literally clean it every morning with like a deter and pick up the dog crap the people leave behind. I'll start by saying the apartments are beautiful and the amenities are great, when not affected by COVID. When you first move in the management team is pleasant to deal with. Once you're all moved in dealing with management is the worst experience you'll have here. Employees give you an attitude and really don't care to listen. Although, it's their job to help and answer your questions they will make you feel like you are interrupting their "busy day". Don't expect any accommodations or a feeling of appreciation here as a resident. We have now reached the end of our lease and even getting our paper work in to leave has become a nightmare. For anyone considering wanting to rent here, just know you will be paying a lot of money for an apartment where the staff does not treat their residents with the minimal courtesy. I am a proud Circa 2020 resident and highly recommend this apartment complex for families, couples, solos, basically anyone looking for a safe and beautiful place to live! My roommate and I moved here for medical school about a year ago along with some of our classmates and we absolutely love it and have recommended it to our peers! Right from the start, Brooke in the leasing office and Maritza the community manager have been so kind and helpful, and Magdy has become a dear friend (he is a great chef as well!). The community is safe and lovely for families, and I love seeing all the dog-walkers. Every staff member is so welcoming and the landscaping and community spaces are always kept impeccably clean. I appreciate how much effort Circa puts into making it feel like a community and have attended almost every single community event, such as Hawaiian night, Oktoberfest, Super Bowl Sunday party, chocolate fondue, the holiday party, painting night etc. with so much free food and activities where we have met many fellow Circa residents! I am also a loyal and frequent user of the Clubhouse which is great for relaxing or just working-from-home. Whenever my roommate and I have needed anything, the staff response has been immediate and went above and beyond to fix but also improve whatever was requested. We love using the 24-hr gym with the attached yoga/exercise room which is great if you want more privacy (the complimentary bimonthly pilates classes are an added bonus)! You really can't beat the easy access and proximity to Downtown Redlands, Target, and nearby hikes. We are planning on continuing the lease for as long as we're in the area! read more

The complex itself is actually 5 stars, but the experience with office mgmt upon move out was not. Even though 3 of our bikes got stolen there, I was still prepared to rate them 5 stars bc of the great amenities, and event staff, namely Brooke and Skyla who were just lovely. But as far as how office mgmt handled us upon move out, our experience unfortunately left a one star lasting impression and I'm saddened by that. We decided to move after our 1 yr lease bc they were increasing our rent by $150. We left the apartment in excellent condition and did the walk through on our last day, Nov. 30, with John, the maintenance mgr who said everything checked out and all we would be charged for was deep cleaning and carpet. During the walk through with John, the garbage bin was left out on the side of the island next to the kitchen sink in perfectly like new condition. However, they later charged us for a missing trash can bc they said it was gone AFTER we moved out. We moved out Nov 30, but they took pictures AFTER we left, I think Dec 7? and said there was no can in their pictures. So they charged us $25.00 for it. I don't know if the cleaners they hired took it after we left or what happened, but they are making us pay for it. Now $25.00 is no big deal, it's not about the money, but I think it is rather unprofessional and unethical to charge for something that did not happen during our stay. I explained our situation to someone new named Maritza but she said we should have taken pictures to prove it was there. Huh?? Isn't that what the walk through with the maintenance mgr was for? They never told us we were supposed to take pictures. I was also told by Maritza that John said that I told him I never received a trash bin when we first moved in and that's why he charged us for it now. Huh??? I have absolutely no idea why he said that, bc there was a trash bin when we moved in and when we moved out so I never had any need for a conversation with him like that. So which was it? Are we being charged for a can I never got according to John? Or a can I got, but took away after we were already moved out according to Maritza? Bc they're saying both. You see where this is going? After a lot of going back and forth to attempt to clear the situation, Candace, the mgr., did not budge. She says the walk through does not determine the final billing, which makes zero sense, bc then why have the walk through in the first place? In the end, we let the situation go and paid for it bc we don't care about the 25.00, but unfortunately it left the strong impression that in the end we obviously don't matter to them, even though we called that place "home" for a year. As a side note, they wrote that the reason we moved was bc of "Rommmate Separation". Huh?? again. We are a family of 6. We have no roommates. Our 1yr lease was up and that's what I filled out on our 30 day notice. So why would they change what I wrote as our reason for leaving? Everything is either strangely suspect or just thoroughly disorganized. Not sure which. Although we had heard from other residents about their experience with office mgt during our stay, we purposed to remain neutral, open minded and positive until we unfortunately experienced it ourselves. A lot of professionals live here, but unfortunately office mgt is not up to par for this type of luxury complex. It appears there is much room for improvement in terms of how things are handled with the front office and hopefully this will help. read more

I have lived here 2 years now. Let me tell you the amount of outrageous unbelievable behavior from the management I have seen go on here. The turnover rate for employees here is high and tenants. There was one Point where every other week their were new staff. Now tell me how that would make you feel as a resident? They pick and choose when they want to stick to the "community guidelines" that they Claim are a big deal and are important because they live here and act like they run the show. Not how it works and not how a family business should operate. If it's not one thing it's another. The staff in the office are very rarely helpful and do not follow up with a concern you bring to their attention. Its been un-enjoyable to live here 99% of the time. Sadly I am in a lease till December. The maintenance staff is amazing and ALWAYS helpful and friendly. Amenities are perfect and enjoyable until they decide they don't want you out there on that day! IN ADDITION to that if your a employee (which most of them live here so that means their residents) they don't even worry about the number of guests they bring to the pool but if you are a resident and not an employee your going to have to watch your every move. I noticed that at the bottom of the page there's a button that says "reviews not recommended" because they want to hide the truth about what really goes on here. My neighbor's was recently moved to the not recommend page. I reposted her post. It's a shame that they would hide those posts because If your a business you should want to hear out what is going on and go from there and do your best to improve. Like come on. The worst community you can live in the management specifically Maritza Gonzales is racist she allows the owner's granddaughter and her 7 friends to enjoy the amenites but when I invite my mother and cousin over to enjoy the amenities thati pay for she blocks my key fob for the rest of my staying (over 7 months) blocking me from getting my mail, and entering the community which is against the law. Also i only stayed for 1 year the rent is too expensive i paid $2700 for a 2 bedroom and then they got nerve to put a renewal on my door offering $3k my washing machine was in the garage they don't allow you or your guest to smoke or vape not even on your own patio, they'll charge you a $500 fine. They also took my deposit of $2700 then added an additional $300 saying that i owe them. Don't move here they are a scam. Stay here if you wanna over pay and be monitored like a child. read more

I feel they have a smooth & efficient process. Starting with Brooke, she took me on the zoom tour, as well as answered numerous questions & emails. Overview: My wife and I are both physicians affiliated with Loma Linda, we lived here for 1-year. It is of our highest recommendation to absolutely AVOID this complex, the sole reason being the exceptionally poor management staff. To highlight the major issues: -As numerous other reviews have stated, moving out is where the big problems lie. Circa 2020 management attempted to charge us an extra month's rent with the claim that we didn't notify them that we'd be moving out. My wife and I have ~30 year history of combined renting experience in several states, and we're well aware of a move-out notification policy in most complexes. Our experience went like this: My wife and I called the leasing office greater than 30 days ahead of time and spoke to Brooke (whom we had a few issues with throughout the year, but mostly minor). We stated we'll be moving out and explicitly asked, "Is there anything we need to do at this time?" Brooke responded, "Nope! You're all set, I'll just email you a move-out checklist to help with shutting off your electricity, gas, etc." She did NOT tell us to provide any sort of written notification including an email, a letter, or any sort of document. Therefore, we were led to believe that we were "all set," as Brooke had stated. Following this conversation, Brooke failed to send us this "move-out checklist," so we took it upon ourselves to schedule shut-off for our utilities / internet. Nearly two weeks went by and we never received the checklist from Brooke. At this point, I called back the leasing office to ask for this "checklist" for good measure. I spoke to Ebony, who was more helpful and immediately sent it over. Once we looked at the "move-out checklist," we found a notice-to-vacate form that was not previously mentioned. At this point, it was now less than 30-days from our move-out. We filled out the form, returned it, and did not hear back. Then, on the day prior to moving out, Ebony emailed us stating that we would owe an extra month's rent due to lack of a written 30-day notice. When we spoke to Ebony regarding this issue, we were met with very generic canned responses with no form of understanding or apology. We spoke to Brooke as well, who admitted to speaking with us but denied her failure to inform us to provide written notification. After the above occurred, I attempted to speak with community manager, Maritza, but she did not follow-up with me. Thus I was unable to attempt to work out this matter with upper-management. This is the type of experience you can expect with Circa 2020. Other cons: -During our approval process it took nearly 2 months of calling the leasing staff and speaking to Brooke (our leasing manager), who repeatedly told us "I'm so sorry, I'll be getting to your application soon." -People would park in our assigned parking space repeatedly. We'd call the office and speak to Brooke, who would say something like "That must be frustrating. I'll send you the tow-truck info." We would then NOT receive any such info, demonstrating a repeated pattern of failure to follow-through on Brooke's part. Ultimately we had one of our parking spots changed after repeatedly speaking with staff, but the same issues continued. -You will NEVER be able to get a hold of security for any reason if you attempt to call them. We had several instances in which we needed to call security (neighbors throwing parties at 3AM on a weekday, parking spot taken) but were unable to reach them. In conclusion: My wife and I are both physicians, we have a combined 30-year renter's experience with numerous apartments. We followed the rules, were excellent tenants, and were always friendly. Ultimately, we feel as if Circa 2020 scammed us in an attempt to garner an extra month's rent, per the above experience. It is of our strongest recommendation to AVOID living here at all costs. read more

This place sucks the TV at the pool does not work when you turn on the mister's at the pool what water stinks chairs are dirty the pool is freezing cold the spa is green the box's on the tv don't work it so bad and the price that I pay is ridiculous there is so much wrong with this place. read more

Upsetting management. My husband and I moved into a Pearl unit which was not cleaned or fixed up for our move-in date. I had to talk to management several times about corrections in the apartment which seemed only to upset them like it was an inconvenience. They are stalling with the paint, AC, and dryer mat restoration. On our 3rd day, we had ants coming into the apartment from outside, and they said they could not do anything about it until next week when pest control is scheduled. Problems with the apartment are upsetting by themselves, but the unfriendly and unproductive management is worse, especially Danielle. I am genuinely disappointed. read more

I first heard of this place from a friend of mine that lives here. I took a tour with a Circa2020 employee and immediately liked what I observed. The clubhouse, and media center are located in the front (southern portion) of the apartment complex. Both look nice. Just north of the clubhouse is the Olympic sized pool. The pool is surrounded by several seating areas, tables with umbrellas, a spa, cabanas with independent tv's, a wash off shower, and bathrooms. West of the pools are outdoor lounge areas with grills, televisions, and gas fire places. North of the pool, is the mail room and fitness area. The fitness area is kind of small but it consists of the basic workout machines. The workout room consists of several treadmills, a stationary bicycle, a row machine, tv's on both sides of the walls, and dumb bells. The workout room also has a separate yoga room which also has a television. The apartments themselves are located on the north side of the property. The apartments have all of the appliances (microwave, refrigerator, washer / dryer, and stove). The apartments and tenants are quiet for the most part and security is present at night. I've been here for over a month and love living here. The employees are very nice and will assist however possible. The staff also has events for the community every month which brings the community together. Great place to live and will recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the great work. read more

I recently visited the office to find out some information on a one or two bedroom apartment. Even though they are not offering in person tours, Brooke immediately sat down with us and went over each floor plan. She very knowledgeable and helpful. However, the manager Maritza completely was not. Before we were about to leave, Brooke said that we were welcome to check out their clubhouse area. As I was walking through, I noticed a coffee bar and decided to grab a cup. There was someone else getting coffee at the time as well. While I waited for her to finish, she turned around and said "Do you need something? Coffee is for residents only." I was so caught off guard and I had no idea that she worked there (come to find out this was Maritza, the manager). I let her know that I was just grabbing a cup of coffee and that any other apartment complex offers coffee to their future residents as well without a problem. She said "Well things have changed a lot since Covid. As much as people think they want it to go back to normal, they really don't". I replied "well that's quite sad considering the lack of hospitality that is being provided here." She continued on with a very condescending and passive aggressive attitude. I left feeling very uncomfortable about the interaction. What started as a great experience with Brooke and ended terribly with Maritza. And now as I look at the reviews, it seems to be a reoccurring theme that many people have had poor experiences with her. It's truly sad because no one, especially in her position as a manger, should be making their residents or future residents feel that way. The property management company should look further into her behavior and want a better representation for their community. My bad review is for Maritza alone. Again, Brooke was great. And I can't speak on the apartments since we weren't allowed to see the inside and if it wasn't for Maritza, I would have still been considering this community as an option. However, due to my experience with her and the poor reviews that others have left, I will continue my search else where. read more

We have lived at circa 2020 since they opened. We recently moved out and have had a lot of issues trying to get our refund back. They sent us a statement to our new address letting us know what they were going to be charging us for regarding move out fees, which we had no problem with, however, there was still a remaining balance that was owed to us. They have said they mailed it. When I've try to email and call Marrisa ( the current manager) I get she is to busy to help me. We have been moved out for 36 days and still can't get this resolved with our owed balance. I thought the company was a little bit more professional than that but apparently I was wrong. I've lived here for almost four years. I can't wait to leave. There has been a lot of parking restructuring because the initial build did not account for sufficient parking. I pay for an extra covered parking space besides our small garage and tonight management was going to tow my car because I haven't picked up a new permit. I've parked on that same space for over two years. They "nickel and dime" you at this place. Don't let the facade fool you. The ceiling and floors are paper thin. The one good thing is maintenance seems on top of things. read more

2 stars only because the maintenance crew here is friendly and capable. The parking situation here is ABSURD and has been for nearly 2 years. Management has made half-hearted attempts at parking enforcement, but have yet to provide an actual solution. Also, there's more things for dogs to do here than kids. If you're a single, young jetsetter type this place is for you. If you're a family with kids and/or own more than 1 car, steer clear. read more

First of all, you pay for what you get. That being said, there are always fun monthly events held by the property. Very nice swimming area. Pool, large hot tub. A nice selection of cabanas with tv and fan. Nice gym with all you need to stay fit. Place for your dog to play and have company over for BBQ. Downside are the ceilings and floors are fairly thin. You can hear them and they can hear you. Walls are great. Can not hear from left to right. My fiancé and I enjoy living in this community. Always security on site and friendly neighbors. This place is amazing and the staff is exceptionally helpful. They have always been accommodating to all my needs, down to accepting and notifying me when packages have been delivered to me. Calls for service are met with immediate response and literally at my door within minutes. The amenities are wonderful, and the place is maintained to perfection. Candice has been nothing short of perfect. She is a valued assets to this property. She is always responsive to emails and always a pleasure to deal with and speak to. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about circa 2020. It has been a great experience living here and dealing with all of the staff. I'm a current resident at this location and I have to echo what others have said here. The parking situation is horrible. The person who responded to another persons bad review glibbly stated there's enough parking for every apartment to have two spaces, but what they're not telling you is that they charge for that parking. Covered parking - which would be free anywhere else - costs $35/month extra. And they have almost all spaces covered. Garages will cost you an extra $75/month. This place has nice amenities but they will nickel and dime you for everything else. Third floor apt? That's a premium - costs extra. First floor? Premium - costs extra. Corner? Premium - cha-ching! Let me start by saying the rating of stars is for the service. The apartments are 5star for sure. But Tammy, the girl that helped us was very very uninterested. From the moment we walked in to inquire about the location, she didn't even stand from her chair or desk and welcome us. She asked for IDs, we had to reach around and hand them to her. She didn't invite us to sit or explain anything. We gave her our IDs and then she took us around. When I asked questions about the property, she half answered them, and not even on my direction, she turned the other way. She was texting and on her phone most of the time. Customer service cost them a customer. I don't care how nice a product is, for they don't try to cater to their clientele, why even have such a nice product? Too bad. read more

Apartments are not worth the price. Office staff fails to clue each other in on where applicants are in the process of securing housing. Office staff reluctant to take you on apartment tours. Money matters are handled extremely poorly. I question the legality of some of the application questions. Overpriced and commercial. Not an asset to the Redlands community. read more

This added review is something good. Although i mentioned a lot of things that I disliked, I wanted to add that the new staff has been absolutely amazing. Candice is almost always the one I deal with in the office and she has always come through. I was worried that the new management was going to be as bad as it used to be but they are so much better. I am new resident to Circa 2020 and proud to call it home. I moved here from San Diego County and I love it here! Very resort style living. We are located within walking distance to several shopping centers. The complex is quiet and I feel secure. The leasing staff is very friendly and professional. Thank you Jamela for answering all my questions prior to move-in (including questions regarding the color of the cabinets and parking). I have not had any problems and looking forward to enjoying my new home. And I must say, the maintenance staff (John and Jose) are truly one of a kind.
