First visit I brought in an expensive pair of Armani pants. They used to be my favorites for going out to a nice place for dinner but also had a laid back casual look. They look that way because they don't have a crease in the leg. The salesman when I bought them made a big deal about not having a crease when I take them to be cleaned, so I made a really big deal about no crease when I dropped them off. Guess what? They had a super sharp tight crease in them that you could immediate,y see through the plastic bag. It was impossible to get out. I tried ironing it numerous times and brought it to other cleaners but the pants are ruined. I liked them so much that I can't get myself to get rid of them even though I can't wear them because they look silly. read more

Fast friendly service, although only one for two on our latest visit. Willow replaced all the buttons on an old shirt of mine, $2 each including new buttons, that's a hit. But they hung up a cashmere sweater after dry cleaning it so the silly wire hanger made those annoying dimples in the shoulders, that's a miss. Normal service is about five days. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. They destroyed 2 expensive articles of clothing consecutively . They offered to give me a credit for a portion of the value the first item. When they destroyed a brand new sweater, owner refused to compensate me for it. Instead, they found a second hand replacement and sent it to me as a substitute for my new sweater. The owner whined about his rent and says he cannot afford to replace my items. After he destroyed the second item, I told him to cash out the credit and send me a check. Refuses to do so. Their prices are inconsistent as well and overcharges for items. Owner is a disgrace--unresponsive and unreliable. read more

I would NOT patronize this establishment again. I left multiple articles of clothing to be dry cleaned. About a week later when I went to pick up the clothing there was only a few articles of clothing available for me to pick up. I was told that the rest of my things where not ready. I found that strange and when I called to find out why it wasn't ready later on that day I was not given a straight answer and I was told I would be called back. The next day I called because I did not get a phone call and was worried about my things, at that point I was not given a very straight answer or explanation finally I had to demand my cloths be returned to me and the person I was talking to was not very helpful. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but these people make nothing but. I have taken in a few blouses to be cleaned without mishap, although buttons go missing, but twice I've asked for an alteration on a jacket and twice they have managed to not only ruin the jacket but also do it in a way that is irreversible. I brought in a jacket with the sleeve folded at *exactly* the length I wanted, in the manner I wanted. I specifically said I did not want cuffs or cutesy edges, just the sleeves to look clean and be edged where I indicated. Two days later I get my jacket back, with the sleeves cuffed (yes, the specific thing I said to NOT do) and the sleeves are not even at all. They cut off the logo which was the length indicator I pointed out to make the ugly poorly made cuffs I didn't want. Now the jacket is ruined permanently and while I got my money back for the overpriced tailoring, the jacket is worth 4 times that and I did not get an apology from either the tailor or the owner. I love giving my business to local businesses, but this place will never get a chance to touch my clothes again. Plaza Cleaners are perfectly fine. read more

Do not bring them anything expensive or of value (dry cleaning and alterations). My Canada goose was denied because it's "too expensive and hard to clean" the woman stated they had ruined one in the past so they no longer clean them (red flag). I was shocked being that the cleaning instructions are dry clean only. I had to bring it to my local dry cleaner who cleaned it with no issues. I also have to mention I brought in a cotton T-shirt dress to be hemmed a few years back. Should have been a super easy job given it was a cotton dress and I only asked for two inches shorter. They didn't fold over the bottom to hide the cut and it had a single stitch going around. It ended up falling apart as I was wearing it before even washing it. Typically this sort of hemming is done with a machine on a folded edge to hide the snipped part and make it stronger (not a single stitch by hand). They fixed it for free but it was the same "technique" that made it fall apart in the first place. The tailoring wasn't cheap either - $20. After this most recent experience I have finally learned my lesson to take my dry cleaning and tailoring needs elsewhere. read more

I've been using Willow faithfully for the past 9 years, primarily for alterations. Even though my eye may have wandered occasionally, and circumstances may have permitted a quick, anonymous cleaning job without willow being the wiser, not once did I have even a dalliance with any other cleaners. I recently brought in 8 pairs of jeans to have hemmed. The (new) owner pinned the jeans himself. Upon check-out, I stressed that I wanted the original hems retained and reattached. He quoted me an above-average fee of $20 per, but due to my history with the shop, I ok'd this. (Under the previous owner it was slightly less, I believe $18?) A few days later, I got a call from the in-house tailor, stating that the owner mis-understood me (he didn't,) and the correct charge was $35 per pair. $35. Per. Pair. $280 for my 8 pairs of jeans. While she wasn't rude, neither was she apologetic, and my protestations that this couldn't be possible went unheard - she insisted that I was misunderstood, and he quoted me / thought I wanted a cheaper style of hem, that which does not reattach the original. At this point, my question (if he misunderstood me, why didn't you simply do the cheaper hem, instead of the original that was clearly requested,) was brushed off. Gentle reader, I'm sure you can see the catch-22 here. Suffice it to say, I picked up my (unaltered,) jeans from the shop, having refused the work. 15 minutes of calling around Morristown had me find Tailors (not so coded reference, this,) that quoted $15 per pair for original hems. $120 versus the $280 that Willow wanted. Same job. Sad to say they've lost my business, the insane amount of business my wife brings them, and garnered this review. Bad business, Mr. New Owner Guy. I was a customer of this cleaners for many years before the present owner took over the business. However, the new owner is not only unprofessional , he is rude and disrespectful . I had a silk blouse cleaned and pressed there several weeks ago and when I removed the plastic bag covering I noticed that both sleeves were damaged beyond repair . I returned with the blouse, the owner was not present and I left the blouse with a young woman who worked there with a message for the owner to call me . Two weeks later and another phone call that I made to the business , no response . This week I went to the cleaners again, owner apologized for not returning messages and for damaging the blouse . He said that they would work off the value of the blouse . I said I wanted either a credit on my credit card or a cash reimbursement . He said : "No". I said this was unacceptable and that I wanted the money for the damaged blouse and that I would not be utilizing his services any longer. His response was; "Why should I do anything for you when you are going to another business?" He spoke in a very angry tone , took $60 out of his register and wallet and threw it on the counter!
