I had originally ordered online from a well-known florist 5 days in advance and was very disappointed to find out the day of delivery that is was going to be delayed by one day with no valid reason in my mind other than poor planning on their part. (Severe weather in Kentucky shouldn't affect a delivery in Florida.) I contacted Greenacres by phone and explained my predicament. They graciously accepted my order and delivered a beautiful arrangement within 4 hours of my call. So happy and relieved to come across a company with excellent customer service! We usually buy flowers from a couple of online stores, but last month we needed to have a basket delivered the next day (that wouldn't break our bank), so my husband looked up for florists around our area and that's how we found this place. This 30 years old, family owned store is located in a big, yet never crowded plaza, so parking will never be an issue. It is very small, a little dark inside and a little bit messy, but Nataly sure knows her job and is very efficient. I went there an hour before closure asking if they could deliver as soon as possible the next day (so, very little advance notice) and sure enough: the basket was prepared and at our friend's house the next day by noon. I also had a great time at the store talking with Nataly, and her prices are decent. I needed to do something nice for someone when I discovered this place. It was especially nice experience as I had experienced horrible treatment at other florists. So, on my first visit I was able to order a green basket and have it adorned with lovely flowers. The lady assisting me helped create the arrangement and in no time it was absolutely beautiful and out to delivery. I highly recommend this place. The flower arrangement was beautiful. I really appreciated the patience and kindness of the women flower designers. I had to call in a few times to reschedule the delivery date (my sister was in the hospital and I wanted flowers delivered to her home but didn't know when she'd be out)... I'm in California, and she's in Greenacres so there was a time difference too. Anyway, they delivered the flowers promptly (when I called back to let them know my sister was finally home). Same experience as another reviewer - ordered flowers for my Mom's birthday. Called in when flowers were not delivered only to find out from their voicemail that they're closed for a week, including my delivery date. There was no indication on Yelp or their website that there is a closure, nor did they black out delivery dates. People generally order flowers for special/time sensitive occasions that are meaningful to someone. The least you can do as a business is add a notice on your website, blackout dates when you're unavailable, or set an auto notification when the order is placed that certain dates aren't available so they can make other plans. Do NOT use this florist if you need your order delivered on time. I'm beyond disappointed with this Florist. I placed an expensive order for an arrangement to be delivered to my sister on a specific day. When it was 3:30 in the afternoon the day it was supposed to arrive and it still wasn't delivered I gave them a call. They ensured me my arrangement was on the truck and it would be delivered soon. Sure enough it was never delivered and it was after their store hours so they did not answer the phone. If this was my business I would ensure all the orders for the day were delivered before closing. This is a terrible business and I'm heartbroken my arrangement wasn't delivered. It now looks as if I forgot about the day and am a terrible sister. I will never use this florist again and I hope I can get my money back. read more

I received a call yesterday at about 7:30, and a woman asked me if anyone from "the flower shop" had called me. I said no. She said that I had a flower delivery, but since it was "so late" that they would be delivered tomorrow. I had recently returned from a business trip in New York City and suspected they were a thank you gift from a business colleague. I told her I had lunch plans for the next day at noon, but that I would be home by 3. She said that they would be delivered between 3 and 4. At 4:00, a young man called and asked for the nearest major cross streets for my address. When I told him, he didn't know the streets. He said, "That must be really far away!" Then one of the streets registered with him and he seemed shocked. "That's REALLY far away!" He mumbled a bit more and then abruptly said, "Let me call you back" and hung up. At 7:00, when no one had called and no flowers arrived, I called back that number. At first, he said the flowers had been delivered. When I said they had not, he said that my address was really far away and that it was out of his delivery area. He said that his mom owned the shop and that I should call her. He started trying to give me her number and I interrupted him. I said that they should communicate with each other and THEN contact me. Soon, the same woman called me and said that I lived out of their delivery area and the order came through on the internet. She said none of the drivers wanted to deliver the flowers, so she was going to bring them herself. She said she was on I-95 and would be here soon. 45 minutes later, she arrived with the flowers. She again told me that I was out of their delivery area and the order came through on the internet. She apologized for the confusion. Receiving flowers should be a fun and relaxed process. If this company is going to accept internet orders from out-of-state...they should be prepared to make deliveries. On their website, they say they serve West Palm Beach (I live right in the center of WPB!). I wasted my entire afternoon sitting around waiting for this delivery and was made to feel that my delivery was an inconvenience to them. They robbed me of the joy of receiving flowers. read more

She took my phone call and listened to exactly what I was looking for, the turquoise theme with white roses and a perfect matching vase. I was very disappointed in my ordering experience with Greenacres florist. After reading good reviews I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my sister-in-law yesterday in memory of her Mom who passed recently. This was her first birthday without her Mom, and I wanted her to know I was thinking of her on this specific date. I ordered last Friday, and no where on their website or in the confirmation I received was there any notation about their shop being closed for a week. I called the shop today, because there was no delivery yesterday and got a recorded message stating the shop was closed from 10-25 thru 11-5. If there had been ANY indication of this on either their website or the order confirmation I received, I would have had time to make other plans and make sure this was order was sent in a timely manor. I like to find local florists to the recipient I am sending to, and like to support small business whenever I can - but in this case, this was a very disappointing transaction. I totally understand when businesses need to take a break or close unexpectedly, but I, as an out-of-town customer would have no way to know this and depend on the communication of the vendor. The link indicated that the flowers would be ready and delivered the same day but to my dismay they had contacted 7 local florists and none could fulfill the order. I placed a Mother's Day order on 5/3/22 for delivery on 5/8/22. I live out of state and this florist is about 10 mins from my mother in laws house. Mother's Day came and went and no flowers were delivered. I called all day to the flower shop no answer. I called on Monday finally someone answered just "Hello" no introduction or Greenacres Flower shop. Bad customer service. I told the lady the situation states the flowers were delivered. I said No Ma'am they were not. She proceeded to tell me they were. After going back and forth she finally said she apologizes and will send out a bigger more better flower arrangement, that they would be delivered at 3 pm. I told her ok. I called back at 4:30 pm, Still no flowers delivered!! Another rude phone experience- Just answers "hello". When I proceeded to tell her the situation she states because it is a free delivery today that it is still out for delivery. I said, " This should be your PRIORITY, I paid you to deliver yesterday not end of day Monday! Mother's Day was Sunday not today. What's the point now I demand a refund." Where do I start. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my parents for their anniversary. When 3pm rolled around and I knew they had not been delivered yet because my parents would have called to thank me, I called Greenacres Florist and they said yes everything is fine they were out for delivery. Well 7pm rolls around and they still had not received their flowers. I called and they were already closed but someone answered. I told her that the flowers had not been delivered. She told me they were out for delivery and she would call me back after she checked with the driver. Well she didnt call me back. She must have hastily put together the bouquet I ordered and 20 minutes later my parents call thanking me for the bouquet. I asked them to send a picture of the bouquet and it was not as nice as the picture. It was obvious they threw it together. What really gets me is that I called them at 3pm to make sure everything was a go and they said yes and then forgot about my order. I will never use them again and I would warn anyone else from using them. When you pay $60 for flowers you expect they wont screw anything up and get your order to where it needs to go. After that experience I'll just special order a bouquet at Publix and deliver it myself. read more

I was getting to ready to drive back to Miami and wanted to leave flowers for my father who is buried at South Florida Cemetery in Lake Worth. Taking a shot in the dark, I pulled into the plaza where Greenacres Florist resides. I didn't tell Nataly, the shop keeper, what o wanted a bouquet for,'just that they were for "a friend." She showed me a couple of options and I told her I didn't want to spend but around $20 (after all, they're going to be left at the mausoleum and my dad wouldn't want me to spend that much, knowing him). Within five minutes she put together a beautiful bouquet and all for $15! She said every arrangement is important to her to put her care and love into it regardless of price. And also added that they would last longer because she took care to maintain the shops flowers in fresh water. She sent me away with a good feeling and prepared to bring the flowers to their destination, capping a beautiful day. I'll be sure to use only her when leaving flowers for my father. read more

I ordered Mothers Day flowers for my elderly mom in Florida through justflowers.com from GreenAcres Florist in Lake Worth, FL. The flowers were ordered on May 10, 2014 to be delivered on Saturday, May 10th and as of May 11th, Mothers Day, the flowers have not been delivered. I was told by justflowers.com that the florist said they were out on the truck for delivery but refused to give me an estimated delivery time. I'm in NYC and justflowers nor GreenAcres Florist answers customer service email requests, & can't get anyone to live chat with you to find out more delivery information. When you call the florist directly, you are asked to leave a message by an automated answering system for a return call that never comes, nor do they respond to email customer service requests. Horrible! Absolutely Horrific! Ordered a bouquet about 3 weeks ago for my mom's birthday worth $100. Wanted lots of roses. Well I got 6 total - 4 of one color and the other 2 different colors. It also included 1 hydrangea, 1 orchid and a bunch of others that didn't really go with the arrangement what so ever. I could have made it better and I'm not a florist. I also said ABSOLUTELY NO LILIES and made that VERY clear....and what did I get? A bunch of lilies!!!!!! Needless to say, I wasn't happy. The lady promised that next time she will arrange it herself and charge me $50 for a $100 bouquet. She was surprised herself that I only got 6 roses total. Before Mother's Day I called her she said she placed my order but needed my cc info but she was busy at the moment. She never called me back that day. Next day I called she said she was with a client so I said I would call back. I called back 3 times she didn't answer. Finally a day before Mother's Day I reached her and she said she didn't place my order and she couldn't do it anymore. I hung up on her as I'm sure she was happy about that cause she didn't have to deal with me. I called back later to get my discount back - no answer as I expected. Natalie the owner was extremely helpful. An arrangement of flowers that I purchased as a gift contained orchids. The orchids were not up to standard, and did not last overnight. I called and expressed my disappointment and Natalie assured me that this was not the quality she wanted associated with her company and so she promised to remake the arrangement and deliver it the following week when new orchids arrived.
