so I had a stiffness on my right side of my neck and I got adjusted. it felt good but the time I got home the left side of my neck started to hurt badly. I couldn't really get a good sleep so the next morning I called them back to get it fixed. they wanted to charge me again for the mess up. it should have been a free adjustment but not with them. it happened ones with someone else and I got free readjustment and it felt better but not with these guys. not good. need to find someone else!! read more

I've used alternative medicine and chiropractors for over thirty years and am very open minded; however, all he did was put his hand on my head and told me my body was telling him what needed to be adjusted. He pulled on both of my legs and said that was all the adjustments I needed. Dr. Greenawalt is awesome. I first visited him for a short while, back in 2001, he quickly cured my pain, was always very friendly, had a great sense of humor, and knew what he was doing. I have a very high expectation of Chiropractors, because I have a cousin in California, who's an amazing Chiropractor. I've had some recent back pain, which got me to the point were I could barely move, the last 2 days. I almost never take any medication, and rather suffer than take any drug. Yesterday, it was so bad, I had to take some aspirin from a coworker. I called in and they made an appointment for today, fitting my schedule. By this morning I was in severe pain, and everyone at work was surprised I even came in. From the moment I walked in, I felt very welcomed! The girl at the front desk was very friendly, and helpful. Dr. Greenawalt is still friendly, and his sense of humor hasn't changed. The only thing that's changed is he's 17 Years more experienced, and is more knowledgeable. After 1 visit, I'm feeling a lot better, and can at least walk at a semi normal pace. Each hour, after leaving his office, my back feels better. I have been going to Dr. Greenawalt since 2004. Recently I was diagnosed with terminal cancer however I managed to heal myself with a few serious exceptions. I was not absorbing any nutrition. I see Dr. Dutt at this practice. I am honored to be a patient of his because of the time and expert treatment he gives. I can tell that he studies and applies the knowledge he has garnered. He does not diagnose and treat me in the same way he would treat another client with the same conditions. He looks at my conditions as my individual conditions then comes up with a treatment plan to meet my needs. There have been times where he has changed the plan based on the need when I walk in. Best chiropractic care where multiple modalities of healing are employed to give patients the most effective care.

First let me start out with the good: Everyone in the office was super nice, and they had me in for an appointment in a timely and efficient manner. The Bad: The Doctor didn't do a lick of work on my back or knee - which is what I went in to have help with. I try to be open minded, but I *know* what caused the damage, as I slipped and fell while dancing when I was in High School and threw my knee out. I went in complaining of back pain and knee numbness, and can say that I still have the same issues today. The Ugly: Doctor Greenwalt uses something called "Applied Kinesiology" - which unfortunately has only anecdotal proof on it's side, and has failed all other scientific testing of it's use. He apparently came up with the idea that my knee and back pain was being caused by a repressed memory of resentment I harbor toward my mother. If I was someone who was easily emotionally hurt, I might have been hurt by this insinuation about my mother by the doctor. Fortunately, my Mom and I have such a good relationship that I called her after I left the office and we laughed about it. For the record - my father died when I was young, and my Mom and I had to go through a lot just the two of us. We've developed a relationship where we can talk about anything, where we trust each other, and where I guarantee you - nothing is being repressed, and neither of us harbor resentment toward the other. That kind of generic statement would probably work on a good percentage of the population, but for me, it was a red flag. Then he asked me to start listing the names of women in my life, but who didn't live near me. As a personal test, I listed random names, until my body "reacted", and I was told that person was also causing problems for my health. At no point in this whole situation was my back even looked at to see if I had done damage. No x-rays, no serious inspection, no massage, no adjustment, nothing... Though in fairness, he did mess with my ankles. Unfortunately, I also think he knows he's not dishing out real medicine. I did plenty of stage work (see: dancing comment earlier) and it's easy to spot when someone is trying to pretend that something is heavy or impossible vs. the smooth motion of actually performing said task. His shoulder would seize up oddly when he would "try" to push my arm down, in a manner that showed he was applying his chest muscles, but stopping the motion at his shoulder. Try it some time and look in the mirror, once you know what I'm talking about, it's easy to spot. The Conclusion: If you're suffering from a general malaise, maybe this works for you - and if you have the money to spend on whatever supplements and frequent visits are recommended (I was asked to come in next week, I did not make an appointment), then - whatever, do what makes you happy. I won't argue the point. However - if you have something that is actually, physically, mechanically wrong with your body, I'm afraid I can't recommend this Chiropractor. His techniques may even do more harm than good, as actual issues may go untreated. Perhaps some of the other Doctors in the office are better (as evidenced by other reviews here), but I can't recommend any office that allows unscientific medicine to be practiced on customers. read more

I was having really bad neck pain and I was referred to Dr. Greenawalt by a family member who told me it would be unlike any chiropractor experience I have ever had and to look up BodyTalk. I did and was a little skeptical but decided to go in with an open mind and see if I would get help and find relief. YouTube the BodyTalk method if you are unfamiliar. He told me my body/subconscious will tell him the priorities of my treatment and he performed this method. Which is basically him raising or lowering your hand for a yes or no answer. My body told him I needed forgiveness from several people and even from a person whose name I gave that I don't really know, just an acquaintance, and that God Fu**ed me when I was 5 so I need to forgive that (yes that language was used). He would tap my head and chest to tell my body to accept this forgiveness and my body also told him that the only adjustment I needed was to pop 2 fingers on my left hand and my left ankle. Not my neck. Which was in a lot of pain and still is. Then went on to tell me that my body needs 24 hours to download this information/adjustments and to call back in 24 hours so my body can tell him when I will need to be adjusted again. The following morning I receive a clinical report of my visit in my email saying he took my blood pressure, discussed and performed neck and back exercises and gave them to me to work on and that I agreed to all of that. And the treatment plan is I come in 2 times a week for the next 4 weeks. None of which happened. I truly was open to what he could do but he did not help at all or address my neck pain. Why treat and resolve my issue in one visit when he can stretch it out across multiple visit and get a copay from me each time? If he made some sort of adjustment on my neck and helped me find a little pain relief then I might have bought into this and gone back even if my subconscious told him I need to forgive God for fu**ing me when I was 5. If you want an interesting experience or whacky story to tell your friends and family, by all means, book an appointment but if you are looking for real chiropractic help/relief this is not the place to go. read more

I just want to say to say that Dr. Timothy Dutt at Greenwalt Chiropractic has been a life saver and has become a very trusted and respected Family Chiropractor. I first went to see him in March 2010 due to a back injury. I was very hesitant due to bad experiences with other chiropractors. I was VERY pleased to learn that he practiced Body Talk and Muscle Testing as well as Chiropractic. He was able to help me and my family. Since then, my entire family have become loyal patients of his. I am most indebted to Dr. Dutt for his help and care during my pregnancy and with my 2 year old. Quack, Quack, Quack.. I was referred to Dr. Greenawalt to perform the Epley maneuver for a case of vertigo I have . He took it upon himself to do a Mystics Kinesiology treatment that I did not ask for. Next thing I knew...I have mommy issues that unbeknownst to me, stem from from my toddler years. Then he was fishing for a friends name. I told him I have no friends. For him to leave me alone. He insisted on a name. So I gave him a name to shut him up. When I did. He went on to tell me this girl is a "bitch" and she is causing stress to my life. For the record. This girl is a beautiful soul and I am glad she is in my life. Also, he threw a lot of F words. How professional is this? When I left his office. Not only did I not get the treatment I paid for. He left me in tears. I have never had such a strange experience. I called to complain and demanded my money back. Instead I got a personal call from him, wanting to explain his "procedure". I will never go back. On October 19, 2018 I was in a T-boned accident as the other person was distracted by his phone. Since recently moving here I didn't established a main doctor. I was in need of care to help find relief. I tried like 8 chiropractor around the Henderson area where I live. NOT one would even help me or listen to me cause I was a car accident case. Dr. Timothy Dutt @Greenawalt chiropractor was recommend. I got Veronica (front desk staff) on the phone and she spent the time helping me going thru the process and got me in. Dr. Dutt practice kinesiology with muscle testing. I never used this type of chiropractor/method before but I heard from my friend it's beneficial. I was blowing away with how it all work. I didn't have a broke bone (hosptial doctors just push meds and said I get better soon)from my accident but had lots of unexplained pain. We work thru it all and what my body felt and found my knees had damag. I eneded up having fat pad syndrome on both knees and one had a cyst. They referred me to Dr. Bascharon a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, athletic trainer and founder of the Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Institute of Las Vegas. She is also a great doctor who had to end up doing surgery. It shows that sometimes it take little to listen to our bodies. I am still healing but expect a great recovery. This is just the second time in my forty-six years that I've ever been to a chiropractor. So, I came to this completely skeptical. I'd heard of Dr. Tim Dutt, but I was unsure he could help me. (Bit of background on me: I work as a book editor, so I'm sitting in a chair ten to twelve hours a day, often hunched over a manuscript.) That changed about two minutes into my session with him. He began adjusting parts of my body that I hadn't even told him were hurting. And he even noticed there was something wrong with my hands (they're poised over a keyboard for endless hours five to six days a week) and adjusted them so that I no longer have any stiffness or pain as I type. He fixed my back so well that I haven't had to go back to him for nearly five months. This guy is a pro. Now, a caveat: Dr. Dutt uses what's called body talk, wherein he touches certain parts of your body (shoulders, spine, arms, etc.) and claims to know based on the body's feedback that you might be deficient in this or that vitamin or mineral. I don't know if I put any stock into that part of his procedure, but as a technician? As a chiropractor? This guy is tops. Despite his unorthodox approach, Tim Dutt can give you relief from pain, soreness, stiffness. He's friendly, approachable, witty, and an all-around solid professional. Dr. Greenawalt is a truly gifted healer. Everything the other reviews say about him is spot on. My pinched nerve is no longer a problem also I have brought my daughter to see him and he totally corrected an issue none of the other Doctors had a clue what to do with. Needless to say they were going to run a ton of expensive and scary tests on her. As for the appointments, my daughter and I book two and go in together for both. I have never seen Dr. Greenawalt but I highly recommend Dr. Paul Green. I was having lower back pain and neck stiffness and he has helped a tremendous amount. They did the x-rays in office before adjusting me. He did want me to come in often (1-2 times a week) for the first couple weeks while he tried to adjust and correct but then he started having me come in less and less. I liked this because some chiropractors will try to get you in as much as possible so they can make more money. The appointments are always on time and the office staff is also very nice.
