Right off the bat, I was greeted by the amazing receptionist Susan - and she had a smile that even lit up my day. After trying to schedule a walk in appointment with her; she informed me that there is an indefinite wait due to the nature of seeing if I can replace an appointment that may be cancelled or late. She was super professional in the way she treated and was super forward about that I may or may not even be able to be seen. After waiting about 30 mins she informed me that I would be able to seen, and that was the best news I could have received! The MA and Providers were kind and diligent - and I could not ask for more from my local clinic. Thank you all!

Most people do not post a review when everything goes right. They get their care, go home, and…read morecontinue with life. But let somebody get torqued off, and suddenly they are posting everywhere about how terrible the whole place is. So here is one from a happy patient. I have been with Ami Tucker at WellSpace for somewhere around four or five years. Between my health history and my wife having 67 surgeries, we are not rookies when it comes to doctors, hospitals, medications, tests, and waiting rooms. At one time, I was taking 33 pills a day, so my care was not exactly simple. Ami is good at what she does. She normally arrives within about five minutes of my appointment time. She is cheerful, listens, gets down to business, and does not waste the appointment discussing the beautiful clouds in the sky. She is quick, but she is not rushing you out the door. There is a difference between being rushed and being efficient, and Ami is efficient. I once had another doctor whose office said she regularly ran four to five hours late. When it finally happened to me, I arrived for a 1:00 appointment and was told to remain there for approximately four more hours. I said, "Like hell I have to stay here. I'm getting another doctor." That experience taught me to appreciate a provider who respects my time. Ami is also almost unbelievably responsive on the patient portal. I have received answers late Friday night, early Saturday morning, and at about 6:00 on a Sunday. She once apologized for taking a day or two to answer. I told her, "Anybody that gets up at the butt crack of dawn on a Sunday morning and takes care of her patients does not need to apologize in my book." WellSpace has its problems, just like every large healthcare organization. The telephone system can be frustrating, appointments can be limited, insurance companies create hoops, and providers can only see so many people. Ami cannot personally control all of that. The portal helps tremendously. I can check my labs and test results, reread medical notes, see appointments, upload pictures, send documents, and review imaging reports at midnight, five in the morning, or whenever it is convenient. I also believe patients need to do their part. Show up on time. Get the blood work done. Go to the MRI. Take the medicine as directed. A doctor needs those results and that cooperation as "bullets in the gun" to fight whatever medical problem you have. Do not handcuff your provider and then complain that nothing is getting accomplished. Ami once called me her favorite patient. I thought she was being sarcastic, so I asked why. She said, "Because you listen." That made my day. I am not positive because life has always been easy. It has not. I simply believe in appreciating what people do for you. If somebody gives you $100, do not get upset because they did not give you $101. Ami Tucker gives her patients a great deal, including time and effort she is probably not required or paid to give. She deserves a sincere thank-you and an excellent review.

Jeffrey Fong RN thank you for your compassion, empathy, professionalism and care you provided. Mercy San Juan thank you for Jeffrey Fong.

More likely to get surgeon or other help during night and weekend. I believe she's correct. From the moment I blacked out during IV insertion until discharge, I was helped by people who know their field and are damn good at it. Being neurodivergent, the ER and hospital environment is mega-overload. I always disclosed my ND and all of my doctors and surgeons were patient and driven to see my health improve. Some of the people who left a very positive impression = Dr. Leslie Tamura. Advocate, calm, intelligent, a solid rock of the best hospitalist I'll probably ever meet. She made me feel safe, heard and assured I would be in good hands. Rutu, charging nurse for her acceptance, support and humor. Lilian and Marlon for being accepting, caring and relating. Renz and Billy, amazing nurses I could trust. Ken was a cheerful and lighthearted tech assistant. And social worker Ashly, a soul filled with the best energy a patient could ever wish to have. She's in the right field! If you find yourself in the Russell tower (older wing), penthouse floor #5, be aware the rooms can get hot on the southern side but getting a sliver of a view of the helicopter pad (had to get up to see) does give the brain something to masticate and reminds you that others are out there helping others (soul warming). Oh, and that hospital air filtration is impeccable. I also liked the garden on the "second" floor. It is peaceful. And the food, it is decent. I loved the grilled zucchini and white rice. The packaged lemon juice was tasty. I never want to see any of the staff or doctors again unless we cross paths at the store or at a really great party. But, if I ever must go to the hospital again, I will hope to see them or I hope that their cohorts ought to be as awesome as them. Note: cell, text, internet reception in basement/ER is nearly non-existent (not limited to T-Mobile). Their Wi-Fi may as well not exist. Send text messages with the time sent. If it eventually goes through, the other person will know the age of your message. Floors above ER should have significantly better reception. Bring your phone charged and with your wall charger including plug, not just cable. Bring flip flops, dry shampoo, fresh chonies, your preferred ear plugs, comfortable lounging clothes, and hand lotion if you like those things and may be admitted. Note: when you hear a faint nursery chime it means a baby was just born in the hospital. *warm fuzzies*

For the past year, I have repeatedly requested referrals to specialists, and it has been an ongoing struggle to get them handled correctly. Referrals have been sent to the wrong specialist offices, information has been entered incorrectly, and I have had to repeatedly follow up and explain the same issues over and over again. This has caused unnecessary delays and made an already stressful situation even more difficult. Unfortunately, my concerns are not limited to referrals. I have also been disappointed by the lack of knowledge and efficiency when it comes to the technology and computer systems used to document visits. There have been situations where it seemed like staff and providers were unfamiliar with the systems they are expected to use, which makes the entire process feel disorganized and unprofessional. The reception staff have also been difficult to deal with. When you ask questions or request assistance, the attitude you receive can make you feel like you are inconveniencing them rather than being treated like a patient who deserves help and respect. What concerns me most is the apparent lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through. Mistakes happen, but when the same problems continue to happen repeatedly and patients are left responsible for correcting those mistakes, it becomes unacceptable. Patients should not have to spend months or years chasing referrals, correcting errors, repeatedly calling offices, or fighting to have basic requests handled properly. Overall, I have had a horrible experience with Creekside Medical Group and would not recommend them based on my experience. I truly hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful improvements to the way patients are treated and how their care is handled.

I had something in my eye, so I thought this location is closer to me. As the sign outside says walk in welcome. I told the front desk person the situation, she took my ID and then told me, that they couldn't squeeze me in. The front desk person told me, I can come back the following day. It's because the doctor had a lot of paperwork to catch up on. WTF. She referred me to drive to Folsom, I told her driving that far distance will be difficult because of my eye. Then she pond me of on other urgent cares. The prior year I had the same experience, where they tell me that I need to make an appointment. They need to take the sign off WALK IN WELCOME because it's all BS. The prior year I was told that facility was ONLY for like physicals and small issues, that is what they are equipped with. The situations I had were not major health issues. They need to put appointments ONLY and not give patients that false security of walk in welcome. Then when they tell me the doctor has a lot of paperwork to complete. As much as most people have to pay for healthcare, this is totally unacceptable. I going to get in contact with corporate representatives to show how a doctor has a lot of paperwork to do to see a patient. The prior year I thought it was just that day but it happened again and I bet I am not the only one that this has happened too.
