Dr Greenberg is a good distance away from me so I don't see her very often. I only go when my problem is something more than I can heal from with time and the normal self help remedies like ice, heat and stretches. I have tried closer to home doctors but it's generally not much of a remedy and certainly not a true healing, especially when it's something more serious and debilitating, as was the case recently. It was clear I was not okay and my problems would linger and recur until I made the trek to Dr Greenberg. Over more than 10 years she's never failed to mend me with real and lasting results. I've been coming to Dr. Greenberg this past year and love my experience with her. She is out of network and I pay about 3x the amount I'd pay as a co pay for an in network doctor but the convenience of coming here and seeing her at her practice is worth it to me. I don't think she's real keen on my marathoning and every 56 days blood donor lifestyle ;) but she helps keep me and my chi in order as best she can with what I choose to do to myself. Sometimes I'll come every Saturday in a row or just now and again for what I think of as little much needed tune ups/repairs. I love that I can experience the combo of chiropractic care and acupuncture in one space. She has also provided great tips on nutrition to me (eating more protein - I don't typically like a lot of meat, cooked veggies, warm soups, bone broth etc.) and icing the back of my neck daily that I feel have helped remind me to care for myself properly since I tend to exhaust my body through vigorous workouts. Throughout the years I've experienced several sports injuries including many stress fractures, sprains and arthroscopic knee surgery. I feel like coming to Dr. Greenberg has helped bring an added awareness to caring for my body in different ways. The place always smells good and is super calming and relaxing. I don't and have never had an issue with needles but this has been my first and only experience with acupuncture and I love it! Give me all the needles! I also enjoy reading some of the materials around the office that have great messages. Sometimes I love coming after a long flight abroad, being on a plane for hours on end or just traveling - it's not only about coming in for an active or past injury. I have been seeing Dr. Greenberg for a couple of years now. I have inflammation in my lumbar area and I also suffer from vertigo. She uses the combination of acupuncture and chiro to alleviate my pain and discomfort. She has magic hands because by the time I'm off the table, all the pain is gone. I have been going to Dr Greenberg for over 15 years. In that time she a fixed a pinch nerve in my groin area when the pain specialist was only offering cortisone shots. My surgeon, a back surgery specialist and former head of an HMO, sent me to Dr. Geraldine Greenberg when I asked him to operate on my shoulder. I was in continual pain and could not lift a piece of paper above my head. The surgeon promised that he would operate only if Dr. Greenberg could not fix me after six months of doing exactly as she directed. Three visits and one and a half weeks later complete mobility was restored. Over the years I've taken my (four) children to Dr. Gerry after sporting injuries and just for spring tuneups, my eighty year old mother when her back ache made her miserable, (repeatedly) employees who might tweak their backs at work and of course my regular maintenance. Yes! I recommend Dr. Greenberg... A couple of decades ago, or so, someone highly recommended her to me. I have been going ever since. I do not have to go very often though, because when Geri works on me, it lasts a very long time. It can even last up to 8 months sometimes! My husband goes to her too, and it's the same thing, he really only has to go once in a while, because she gets his back and neck feeling really well. Dr. Geri also has worked on both of my sons. When my oldest son was very young- prekindergarten age, the doctors wanted to perform a surgery on him and place tubes in his ears. He had suffered from countless ear infections and had taken antibiotics a lot. I finally thought to take him to in to have his cervical spine adjusted. We did it a few times and his ear infections were gone. He never had to have surgery.
