We were to receive $ back from the State, and usually receive our state refund within a few weeks, but never received it. In March we called Fast Tax Services, who advised us they could not help us with our refund. We were unable to follow up until May and spent hours and days calling the Calif Tax Board for help. On 5/12/2025 we finally found a guy at the CA tax board who advised they had never received our 2024 filing. I called Fast Tax Services the next day and asked if our taxes had been filed with the state. If so, when they file as a responsible business, didn't they always confirm all tax returns filed? They said yes but sometimes things can "fall through the cracks." He also told me their records reflect we had not paid them! I told him we definitely paid when we signed our documents, I was very concerned and left a message for our tax preparer, to call me. He didn't, so on 5/14/2025 we checked online and then the status had changed from not being filed and reflected our 2024 Return Status as Received. We received our refund shortly afterwards. It appears Fast Tax Services hurriedly filed the state documents within the 2 days after my call. We never received a call back from our tax preparer. Would not recommend this service.

Best decision I've made in 10 years (apart from marrying my dream girl). I paid "AB" 3k, and they were able to reduce the 13k that I owed down to $2,509 (to be paid over 5 months). WHEW! Relief! Of course those payments didn't start until more than a year after contacting "AB". The best part was the way they removed the IRS from my doorstep. No more mail bombardment. When pieces of mail would randomly show up, I scanned them and sent them directly to "AB". They took care of everything. "AB" also found a number of years I had filed incorrectly, and fixed those too at no additional cost. I'll be honest, I was worried when I first contacted them and realized they deal with the taxes of fortune 500 companies. How would I fall in the ranks of importance? Now that everything is concluded I can honestly say I never felt like my case was any less important. In fact, they made me feel like I was the only case on their desks.
